Hi experts,
I actually have a SAP Business Objects 4.0 SP4 and I try to upgrade to 4.1 SP2.
The documents I found on the topic clearly let me understand that it could be totally and easily achieved.
However, I keep having this error message :
In the CMC, I successfully disabled all the servers (except the CMS) then I restarted the SIA in order to kill all the active sessions.
Could you please give me some counsels?

When I try to install DS 4.0 I get the following error:
Installer has detected that a previous operation did not complete. Do you want to resume?
I had previously installed Information Platform Services 4.0 but the install crashed. Now I am unable to uninstall IPS and I can't install anything else. ( trying to uninstall IPS from Programs and Features just blinks and then doesn't do anything)
Has anyone faced this issue? Can someone PLEASE tell me how to uninstall IPS and/or circumvent the error so I can get DS installed?

I had the same problem a while ago. I solved this by
1. Go to folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\InstallData
2. Under this file you'll find "InstallManifest.sqlite" file. You need to open this file through SQLite editor. You can download it https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/sqlite-manager/ as an add-on to your firefox.
3. There are 13 tables in this database. Go to "DUTransaction" table. You will see "Committed" column change the value if there is any zero 0 value to 1.
4. Save and close the file.
5. Restart your installation.
This should solve your problems.

While I 'm doing upgradation from 10.2.0.5 to 11.2.0.3 on Windows 2003 getting following Error.
INS - 40416 the installer has detected that the version of the configured instance of Grid infrastructure is not compatible for upgrade to the release of Grid.
Is there any configuration issue?

Please detail your env !!! You need be more specific... What you are trying to do .. Upgrade database or clusterware?

We are trying to convert a physical windows 2003 R2 32 bit server to a VM using VMM 2008 R2 with all updates installed. Each time when we scan the system on VMM, it gets this message: Error (2901) The operation did not complete successfully because of
a parameter or call sequence that is not valid. (The parameter is incorrect (0x80070057)). If I use disk2vhd.exe to convert only C drive, I get parameter is incorrect. Any ideas?

2.0 - 0x803d0006 - The Operation Did not complete within the time allotted

I integrated MBAM 2.0 into ConfMgr 2012 SP1 on Srv2008R2 & SQL 2008R2 box. All MBAM components lying on the same server. Network is encrypted, using https, clients and server have certificates from inside PKI.
- Manual encryption attempt with MBAM client fails ends with "An error has occurred". During this, there is no error codes anywhere.
- During automatic triggering of MBAM client, 0x803d0006 comes up into event viewer.
- Laptops are partitioned with extra Bitlocker partition as they should be
- Laptops are able to communicate with
MBAMRecoveryAndHardwareService/CoreService.svc
- Group Policies are applied with necassary MBAM settings. Reporting point is disabled because ConfMgr integration takes care of that.
- During the error on a client side, I don´t see any logs in event viewer on a server side

I solved this By creating GPO policies only via MBAM node. Previously I had a mixup with policies, because I had configured Bitlocker Encryption policies also. With MBAM, only MBAM´s own policies should be configured.
So this error massage is occured only because of GPO conflict. I also noticed, that you can easily mix up things with MBAM´s policies also, if configuring different encryption settings and causing conflict between them (like encryption package, keys etc).
So if you don´t know, what you are doing (like me, hehe), leave encryption polices as default.

TS3992 I have ios 5.1.1 on my iphone 3gs and i can't seem to back up to my icloud. The only error the phone gives me is that the last backup did not complete. This happens even when i attempt to manually back up my phone to the cloud.

I am pretty sure my login information is correct because i see my previous backup on the phone. Any idea's what might cause this?

If you get the message "Backup not successful", I had the same problem.
My solution was to turn off some apps (Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>manage Storage, tap my device name in the Backups section, then look under Backup options) and try a manual backup. If it didn't work, turn off a few more apps and try a backup. Keep doing that until the backup works. Then try adding in some of the last batch of apps that were previously turned off - the objective is to find the app that causes the backup to fail. For me, I suspect that the one app I found had a bad data file that, when included in the backup, caused the backup to quit.
This can be a long process if you have a lot of apps that you originally turned on for backups.

What are the conditions under which this error (-200474) occurs in the NI-DAQmx driver?

I encountered this error using a PCI MIO-16E-4 board while reading from an analog input channel. I have a loop that continuously measures values. To obtain a value, I start a task, average a number of 10 000 samples, and then stop that task, and so the loop repeats itself again.

The interesting thing is that my application works fine for a number of hours (more than 5-10 h) and then at some point, I get this error.

Once every second I start a task, read 10 000 individual samples, average them, and then stop the task. So I guess it's pretty intensive.

It can be that during the starting and stoping the task, one of the DAQmxReadAnalogScalarF64 calls returns me this error at some point, because the driver doesn't have time to give me a value anymore. I will try to lower the 1Hz sampling rate a bit, but I will leave the sequential DAQmxReadAnalogScalarF64 calls running at the speed of my app.
A possible solution to my problem would be to configure the driver to average 10 000 samples for me, and then return me a single value. I would appreciate any idea of how to configure the task to do this using the NI-DAQmx API.
Could you also give me some plausible scenarios which could result in an occurrence of this error?

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.

HT1911 When i try to reset my password i do not recieve the email authentication why? It also says that my email address is already verified with another user when ive never registered it

Tried to get the email sent to reset password, but never ever recieve it no matter how many times i try.
I then also try to do it the other why with the security questions but then says ive entered my D.O.B incorrectly.

Im wondering why my post hasn't been answered yet. I did file a report with the BBB and I had a rude representative from Verizon call me named Steve. He said I can file all of the reports I want and I will just keep getting calls from him. I can understand why my phone couldn't be replaced because of the small crack. I guess I have to eat that one (but it sucks because the lollipop update is what caused the problems) but what about all of the data overage I had to pay for for trying to fix this phone because of a lollipop update. I dont think it is fair to have to pay that as well. In addition, because I have an east coast phone number but live on the west coast, I cannot have tech support after 8pm. Verizon has cut this off. Im very dissatisfied and I have been a customer of Verizon for 13 years. Im hoping for a response this time.

Test stand crashes: "test stand has detected that your script debugging"

Hi everyone. I am setting up a new installation of Test stand and writing my first sequence with an existing sequence of legacy code.
When I run the sequence and stop on the call to the DLL, and then step into the dll and I get this error:
test stand has detected that your script debugging settings might cause visual studio to hang when attaching to the teststand process to perform this step into operation.
To fix this problem, open internet explorer, select tools>>Internet options>> Advanced, check Browsing>>Disabl script debugging, click okay, and restart your sequence execution.
The message is vague and it is indermanent as to whether I should "enable" or "disable" Script debugging so I tried both. Test stand then crashes again and I get the same error.
Do I need to reboot after each crash? I'll try that next. Any ideas on how to make this error go away?

HT5312 I keep getting an email from Apple telling me that my Apple Id has been successfully reset when I did not reset them. Started early June 2013 and in a month i have had to reset it three times. Apple support was not helpful. Any suggestions?

I keep getting an email from Apple telling me that my Apple Id has been successfully reset. I did not reset it. Since early June 2013 to now i have had to reset it 3 times. It is not an easy one to remember either. Initally I thought it was some pfishing expedition but no purchases have been confirmed by my visa. My kids use my Apple Id to download APs and I am informed when this happens. Nothing strange happening on the financial site at all. Just frustrating as we have to keep updating the ID to use messenger, I cloud etc on all of the devices. I called Apple Support and the girl initally said she knew nothing about this but then spoke to someone else and they are aware of this ongoing problem and are working on it. Any suggestions? Are others having the same problems?

Unless you have another system on which you have purchased Mountain Lion, you will need to first install Mac OS X 10.6.8 on the iMac, for which you'll need either the original installation disks, if the iMac came with 10.6, or a retail copy of 10.6. Install 10.6 and upgrade to at least 10.6.6, and then you can buy Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store, presuming of course that the imac can support Mountain Lion. See:
