Installer says I'm not running 10.6.4
I'm trying to install the Snow Leopard Graphics update. I've already verified everything and installed all the new software, and I know for a solid fact that I am running 10.6.4. I've checked and double-checked that I don't need any other new software, and yet the installer still tells me that I need to be running 10.6.4 in order to install. Even the hover box over the disk in the installer lists it as being the right version, but it still does not let me.
What do I do? I seriously do need this update.
I have a brand-new 2010 Mac Pro, purchased just a couple of weeks ago, running 10.6.4. No updates are showing up when I run Software Update.
Also got the message when starting up L4D2 that I needed to install the graphics update. I ran the Snow Leopard Graphics Update, and it also told me I needed to be running 10.6.4 even though I already am. I think there's a glitch in the update...

1. Empty your Temp directory and restart
2. Completely remove iTunes and related components
3. Install the latest version of iTunes

After performing each of the steps below, you will need to completely remove iTunes and related components and then install iTunes again to determine whether the issue is resolved.
1. Make sure you have administrator account access
2. Make sure your folder names don't contain strange characters

Start page says I am not running latest update when I am!
Every time I start Firefox there is a message to say I am not running the latest version and to update now.
However, if I go to the Help tab to check, I am told that I am up to date.

Starting with the Firefox 4 version, Firefox is using a "local" Start Page with the address of '''about:home'''. It looks similar to the old Start Page, but it isn't exactly the same. -
PSE 12 installs is registered does not run - incompatible!
Installation of just bought PSE 12 went fine. No errors. 1 month old Dell 3847 with Win 8.1. PSE 12 will not run. Starts to load and aborts. Diagnotics says it is INCOMPATIBLE! What is wrong here that is not showing up for those who get PSE 12 to run under Win 8.1 with 64-bit processor?
Bought PSE 12 because PSE 6.0 did not run. Same problem with PSE 12. Did a refresh and started loading PSE 12. Worked fine. McAfee was running. Loaded PSE 6.0 and IT worked too. Spent the rest of the day reloading the other app(lications). I'm old fashion. The word "app" is a bit too chic for the work that went into loading it! Anyway, I suspect that what the problem was was an Adobe program running in the background. I thought I had closed ALL Adobe programs as the PROMPT indicated. Anyway, PSE 12 is compatible with Win 8.1. So is PSE 6.0 and no telling how many other OLD versions. Readers beware. NEW software is NOT always THE answer!!

I am trying to install ECC 6.0 on a windows 2008 64bit, already i have installed Oracle 10.2 (not using SAP Media-because i didnt find Oracle installation files in the SAP Media we have purchased). after seting the directory of components SAPinst says "you have not installed Oracle, install Oracle and then continue the installation".

Lion Server installer says I am not connected to the internet

All the tools which can be found in the Internet failed.
I downloaded the Intel® Rapid-Storage-Technik-Treiber für Intel® PC-Mainboards (STOR_all32_f6flpy_9.6.0.1014_PV.zip) which was not on the Dell support web site . After restarting, this caused heavy hard disk activity that took a while. But after all, Windows
Update worked again and the UAC provides correct displays. It's magic - I think Microsoft - there is some work to do ... we are living in 2013, I cannot imagine that a hard disk driver has an impact on high level software... -
Creative Cloud installer downloads but will not run
I have downloaded and re-downloaded the Creative Cloud installer but when i click on the download to run it my computer (Sony Vaio windows 8) acts like its trying to but nothing ever happens.
Specs:
Sony Vaio
Intel core i7
windows 8.0 (have not updated)
8 gigabytes of ram

I my macbook pro will not recognize my iphone. I had the AppleStore, re-install my original software a month or two ago, but since they did this, my computer cannot recognize my Iphone it is telling me that I also need to download the new version of Itunes, but keeps telling me my system isn't running the correct software. When I go to update my software, it's telling me I'm running the latest version??? HELP!!
you need to upgrade your OSX to 10.6.8 or later to sync with the iPhone 5. as you need itunes 10.7 to run Iphone 5

AIR 3 Sidecar Installs but Program does not run
Hi there AIR Heads!
After an install of both AIR 3 and our AIR program am getting an AIR error window: "This installation of this application is corrupted."
Trying to figure out issue through the installer log.
Have doen several reinstalls with updated files, get same error window each time.
Looking at Console system.log the only error message I see is this:
CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): Old-style plist parser: missing semicolon in dictionary.
Any ideas if this is causing the issue?

I apologize for the delayed response. If you're still running into this issue could you try the following steps, they've helped others with this error in the past.
Delete the following folders:
[user]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR
[user]/Library/Caches
Also removed any references to the app, (original name & renamed), in:
[user]/Library/Preferences

WAS SP9 SR1 ABAP+Java Add in installation , j2EE engine is not running
I have completely installed SAP Netweaver SP9 SR1 WAS ABAP+JAVA addin and Installed XI completely. After few days j2EE engine stops running. I have applied the license after requesting from SAP Mareketplace and applied in WAS ABAP using SLICENSE transaction.
Issue faced
1. Tried to connect j2ee engine home page which is showing.
Dispatcher is running but no server connected.
Now I have removed the WAS J2EE installation and removed the client on which WAS j2EE engine installed. After doing this I tested the WAS ABAP which is running fine. Now I am again installing WAS Java addin. Which installed success fully and have seen the j2ee engine server page running. But proceeding further to install JAVA Dialog instance I am facing folloing issues
2. while installation step 8 and 9 as per SAP INSTANCE GUI .
3. And J2EE engine is again stopping.
Can any one help me to install J2ee dialog installation and resolving these issues.

J2EE Engine has a separate licensing mechanism. If the temporary license expires, the server will shut down every 30 minutes. You install a permanent license using Visual Administrator in service "Licensing Adapter".
In any case, a look into the log files of the engine can provide further information. They are found at
.../<SID>/<INSTANCE>/j2ee/cluster/server<n>/log

Lightroom has no uninstaller. Told to find and trash. Did that, CC installer says OK. NOT!

thanks for the reply. No issues, not really. I have had every version since the first and don't recall an uninstaller for Lightroom.
But, I have always updated.
