Installing 9.2.2 where 10.5 already present
I have an old 1GHz G4 Powerbook which has Leopard installed, and the HDD is not partitioned. I would like to install 9.2.2 also, and I have the original install DVD.
Assuming that I need to partition the HDD, in order to install 9.2.2, how do I do this without erasing the existing 10.5 installation ?
Furthermore, your Powerbook can't have USB ports on the left/right side of the keyboard. It must have them in the rear to use Mac OS 9 booting. Depending on its age, you might need the original 9 installer disc that came with the computer. See this article on which Powerbooks can boot into 9 and 10.5:

Dates and serial numbers are given below for determining the requirements for Powerbooks. X in the serial number can be any letter or number. Do not quote the serial number to us in the forum. The numbers that are greater naturally are newer than those quoted.
If yours is among the ones who can run 10.5 and 9, and dates prior to August 21st, 2001 (xx134xxxx), it can use the retail 9.2.1 installer. Later they must the 9 installer that shipped with them. Later than July 31, 2002 (xx231xxxx) must use the restore discs to restore Mac OS 9.

How can I get updates for Photoshop CS5 to download to my new Mac book pro where CS5 is already installed from my original disk? I have tried many times over 2 days. I get the same error messages re downloading error. I successfully downloaded the current version of Adobe DNG Converter & it installed perfectly. Help please!
The Adobe auto updater is highly unreliable.
You need to look for and download the update yourself and then manually apply it as per the detailed instructions on the download page:

Installing CE on same host where EP7 is already installed.

I am new to CE.
we have a EP7 SP 18 (Single Stack-->Java )system installed and it is runnig fine.
Now i want to install Netweaver CE 7.1 on the same Box.
Is it possible and advisible ?
if any one has done this please share your thoughts/Experince.
Also if we can use the same Database for both installations or we have to have separate Database
also ?

You can install CE on same host where EP7 is already installed .I dont think it going to make any diffrence other than listener.So you can choose the different listener port during installation of CE .
Its never recomended to use same database for different systems.Its going to increase your administrative effort if you will use same DB .Anyways when you install CE in that case it will install its own database .

Problem solved! , my tube is back to normal ( to rock )
all i did is , removed the sys,private,system,resources,data folders from the memory card , switched off my phone , removed the memory card , did a soft reset (*#7370#) and tried to install an application from downloads , i was able to install in the phone memory as memmory card was not inserted then switched off the phone , inserted the memory card and tried to install an application from the downloads, finally i was asked where to install the app. and gave memory card , viola application installed sucessfully

First, I suggest you download
Microsoft Safety Scanner or
Malicious Software Removal Tool to run a full scan.
The error messages here seems to be caused by the corrupted registries, which related with the folder association.
You may take a try to merge the following registry settings to reset the folder association, before that, remember to backup your registry settings first:

You have to provide your computer's administrator password in order to install Flash Player.

I click on forgot the answers , they send me check your email , I check my email and they send me the password that I have already entered not the answers of the questions ! You are posting in the "icloud on my mac" forum, but your profile mentions Windows. If using a mac, you need to have iphoto or aperture installed in order to receive new photos via photo stream. If using windows, try posting in the iCloud on a PC forum. You'll get better help there.

Hope some of you can throw some light on this. What does WIN 8.1 do in the boot
process that WIN 8 does not?
And if anybody has encounterd this before...
Note to multi booters - keep or reinstall Dell or other System Reserved partition (PRI,Active)
EasyBCD/Windows Boot Manager held on this partition (eg. 350MB)
If it gets corrupted, you can Restore it, rather than Gigabytes of 1st Primary O/S
Also, it will solve a lot of problems, when manipulating/adding/backing up/restoring O/S's

Results in:
X You can't install Windows 8.1 because your processor doesn't support LAHF/SAHF.
X You can't install Windows 8.1 because your processor doesn't support PrefetchW.
There are at least three Processor requirements that M'soft does not list for WIN 8.1
and it's fairly well documented, if you ask the right question, eg.:

So that's it, exclusion by 'stealth' - at least M'soft told you that processor required NX - Execute Disable Bit
for Windows 8
For Intel units, look out for 'VT-x. Have a processor on the way, but will Motherboard pass CMPXCHG16b test?

Windows 8 support ends 2015, that means people who bought it will have had 2 years use
WIN 8.1 Upgrade/Update (sic) is free, but costly if it won't run on your machine
So, those many people who decried Windows 8 and stuck to WIN 7, were right after all

When I click on "view in itunes" in IE 10, Win 8 Pro, for an advertised app, it takes me to Apple Store but says I need to install itunes first even though it is already installed.
