Installing a store bought adobe product (disc's) on a notebook (no drive)

My old computer needs to give up it adobe photoshop and premiere to my notebook Sadly my notebook does not have a cd player and so how does one register to adobe and get them to send me a digital copy so I can download this great product on my new computer???

If you download Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9 and enter your version 9 serial number then you'll be fine.

If you download and install versions 10 or 11 then those versions will require v.10 or v.11 serial numbers respectively i.e. you must pay for an upgrade for those versions.

  • Problems installing photoshop and other adobe products

hey! i recently make a clean windows install. (xp pro) and wen i try to instal photoshop cs3, i run the setup.exe but nothing happens, so i cant make it work,
and with illustrator cs5, i was able to make the install, but when i try to run it it says to me that there is an invalid image, with a file named AIRes.dll
    any ideas?

Not much point in your post. You did in no way provide enough info. In particular it would be relevant in which order you are attempting to install and what otehr Adobe products are on teh system. Anyway, based on your post it sounds like you already made a mess of things, so run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and start over...

  • Can I get free upgrade if I bought Adobe product 2 days before the release of the new version?

Can I get free upgrade if I bought Adobe product 2 days before the release of the new version?

If you bought CS6, then there is no upgrade. CS6 is the last standalone version. whether or not you may be entitled to some CC discounts, if you want to go that route, is only something sales support can tell you. If they're feeling generous, they may give you one or two months completely free, but realyl, you have to contact them....

  • Can I install and use your Adobe products on a secondary hard drive?

Hello, I have my OS and program files installed on a 128gb SSD and I have a 1TB HDD secondary. I want to avoid filling up that SSD as much as possible. Is there an option when installing your Adobe products  (which ones?) to install and use them in a drive and folder on the secondary drive?

Simply choose a custom install and pick an alternate location in a folder on your secondary drive. just be aware that some components like the activation system and otehr shared stuff will always be installed on C:\, no matter what. You are stil lgoing to lose at least 1GB on your SSD drive.

  • Installing Acrobat Broke Other Adobe Products

    Hello there,
Hopefully this is the appropriate forum... I recently installed Acrobat 9, which broke all of my other installed Adobe products. I'm officially a Technical writer, so I have RoboHelp (version 8 if it matters) and Captivate (6); I recently took on some other duties, so I acquired a license for CS5 and most recently one for Acrobat 9. I had CS5 and RoboHelp/Captivate existing together peacefully, but when I installed/activated Acrobat 9, everything else stopped working (though Acrobat works).
The CS5 programs seem to have been deregistered entirely because they're now being treated like trials again whenever I open any of those programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, etc). Starting RoboHelp gives me an error 5: "This product has has encountered a problem which requires that you restart your computer before it can be launched." And Captivate just plain won't launch (says it has stopped working moments after launch).
I'm assuming these problems are all related, but I don't really know how beyond a licensing conflict, and I don't know how to fix them without uninstalling everything and starting from scratch. So far I've tried restarting a couple times, as the RoboHelp error suggested. Before I realized it was everything and not just RoboHelp I also attempted to uninstall RoboHelp and delete some folders, as suggested in this forum post. Neither helped (and RoboHelp wouldn't uninstall properly either). I'm not even sure where to begin to search for a solution to this problem, so I'm hoping some Adobe experts can shine some light on what's going wrong here.
Thanks a ton to anyone who can help!

I still haven't been able to figure this out. I'm probably going to make a support call today, but I'd still appreciate any help. Thanks!

  • Unable to install any adobe product

Recently I uninstalled my Adobe InCopy and InDesign (CS6) applications using the Adobe installer. Something went wrong with one of them, as it did not properly uninstall CS6 and instead displayed an uninstaller error.
I've been troubleshooting for a couple of days now, installed the Adobe Cleaner tool and used it, went through tons of forum posts and the result is what I can only describe as a disaster.
Currently I am unable to install pretty much any Adobe product as every installer gives an error when trying to run it.
A list of the issues I have found:
    - Adobe Application Manager does install, but produces a "Download error. Please contact customer support." with a Quit button when opening it.
    - Adobe InCopy CS6 and InDesign CS6 installers fail with the message
    - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC hangs on 90% for a while during installing and then says "Installation failed"
    - Consequently, trying to download a Photoshop trial also gives the same error when it tries to launch the Application Manager.
    - I do seem to be able to download Creative Cloud separately, but when it opens (which takes a while) I just get an eternal spinner.
I'm using a Mac with OS X Yosemite (10.10.2). Previous to the errors I had been able to run Adobe products for over a year without issues.

    Hi Koen,
As we are encountering a couple of errors, let’s try to take them down one by one.
Firstly, let’s work on Download error and spinning wheel.

Kindly try these links and share the results so that we proceed further.

  • Downloading the Adobe Creative Cloud app opens Adobe Product Manager but never updates it

I've tried seveal times to download the Adobe Creative Cloud app but each time it opens Adobe Product Manager and then never updates APM to the Creative Cloud app nor does it give me any options to install the CC app.  Note: I've used adobe cleaner to clean my manager and did a fresh install of the latest Adobe Product Manager.  This allowed me to at least see all of the other CC programs and install several of them.  Its my understanding that APM is suppose to update itself to the CC app but it never does.  I'd really like to have the CC app to interact with the cloud as is intended.  plz advise and help.

I bought Adobe Design & Web Premium CS6 from an online store. I try to install the program but it pup out said to Adobe support manager. I try to key in the serial number but always fail. Could you tell me what should I do? Thanks!

using Google to read reviews, I would not buy from that site Google
added... click the google link I provided and do some reading about that site
When you buy from another site instead of direct from Adobe you need to check first to be sure the site is an authorized reseller (such as Amazon)
You are now going to have to get support from the place you bought if the serial number you were given by that site does not work

  • How to prove that I bought an adobe product, installed it, but lost file and serial number..?

    Hi all,
Last year, I bought the Adobe Premiere Element 11 (by downloading it, no CD), installed it on my PC and now, had a problem with my ext. backup disk. There is no way to recover the datas, which was confirmed by a lab.
However, the execution file of Adobe Premiere Element 11 was on it (ok, I know, I can downlaod it again), but i lost the registration key with it.
How can I prove that I bought the product in order to get a new licence key or registration code ?
Thank you folks for your suggestions / solutions !

    Hi Ned,
That's exactly what I did, without success ! I mean, there should still exist another way to get a new registration key or a licence key...!?
    Thanks for your advice.
    R.

  • How do I re-install my Adobe Products I already bought?

This is my problem: I (used to) have Adobe Illustrator CS5, Photoshop CS5 and other Adobe products that I bought about 2 years ago.  I recently had to replace the hard drive on my computer, and while I still have all of my files on my new hard drive, I don't have any of the programs! Do I have to re-purchase them or is there a code that I can use to ease this process? Bottom line is, I am a small business owner and I need these photo creating programs back on my desktop so I can get back to work.  Help Please!!!!!
