Installing Adobe Photoshop CC / Updade or reinstall Photoshop CS6

I installed now Photoshop CC on my MacBook too and registered succesfully with my Adobe ID. But now, when I want to start Photoshop CC, it asks me for a serial number or gives me the only other possibilty to use Photoshop CC for 30 days to test it. I think I never got a serial number when I started paying monthly for Adobe CC. How can I solve this problem?
2nd problem: I wanted to update Adobe Photoshop CS6 on my MacBook. I got the error code U44M1P7. I deleted CS6 on my MacBook and wanted to reinstall it from the Adobe Site, but I cannot find the place on your homepage to download it.

Cannot Install Adobe Updates / Cannot Open Files in Photoshop from LR

Hi,
I cannot seem to update the programs that show need to be updated. My computer shows I need to update Adboe Bridge CS5, Extension Manager, Photoshop CS5 and Camera Raw, but get the following error every time: "There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later."
I figure this is part of the reason why I cannot edit a photo from Lightroom to Photoshop. When I try to edit in Photoshop, the program opens up but the image doesn't appear. When I try to open the image directly in Photoshop, I get the following error: "Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw."
I assume the two issues are related, but how can I get past this if I can't update Camera Raw?
I'm running on Yosemite and have Photoshop CS5 and LR 3.

The updater for older versions don's work well, if at all, anymore. Update the manually:
Adobe - Photoshop : For Macintosh : Adobe Photoshop 12.0.4 update for Adobe Photoshop CS5
Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Macintosh : Camera Raw 6.7.1 Update
If you upgraded to Yosemite with CS5 installed, you may want to uninstall and re-install CS5 before doing the above. You can find the CS5 downloads here: Download CS5 products

Error message when trying to open a newly installed Adobe Reader from Old Software reinstalled

I am unable to open my Adobe Acrobat Professional 7 that came with Adobe CS2. There is an error message that says "No valid Acrobat Serial Number found. Acrobat will now quit."
There is no area to input the serial number even though I have it on the case that came with my CS2 software.
Please let me know how I can fix this so I can use it on my computer.

Install Adobe Photoshop CS6 after Creative Cloud failed...

When I start my Adobe Photoshop, I alwasy get asked to reactivate my abonnement even if I bought a CS6 Version with a Serialnumber... This product is registrated in my Adobe Acount. What can I do to use my Adobe Photoshop with my serialkey instead with Creative Cloud.... (I used the Removal Tool from Adobe to remove my Creative Cloud Applications bevor I installed the CS6 Adobe Photoshop without Creative Cloud..)

Claudias31518194 what specific error do you receive them you open Photoshop CS6? Did you previously evaluate the Creative Cloud version of Photoshop? If so I would recommend removing all installed Adobe Creative software titles and reinstalling the versions you plan to continue using.
Without doing so you may still have upgraded components installed which could lead to unexpected results similar to the repeated request to activate. You can find details regarding the uninstall process at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
If you need a fresh copy of the retail installation files for Creative Suite 6 they are available at Download CS6 products.

Reinstall Photoshop 6 Extended

For some reasons, I need to reset my laptop using OS windows 8.0 to the factory setting.
Resetting the windows 8.0 will cause all my apps installed on my laptop are removed totally, include my registered adobephotshop 6 extended.
The questions is: can i get back (reinstall) my adobe photoshop 6 extended using my current serial number?

I just got there Help ---> Deactivated but it seems that option is dimmed so I could not execute.
Is there any other way? Or can adobe deactivated the product under my adobe ID o I can swap the machine immediate.

Yes, of course you can reinstall CS6. Just make sure you run Help --> Deactivate before wiping your machine so you don't lose the activation.

I just updated my Mac OSX to Yosemite. I'm using PS5.1 extended. I've dl'd and installed the Java update, as recommended, but Photoshop still refuses to open. HELP!

I just updated my Mac OS to Yosemite. Every other program is working fine, but not Photoshop. I've tried everything mentioned in the forums, including updating the JAVA program, a restart and still PS will not open, giving me a "An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has just occurred. Photoshop will now exit." warning. HELP! I rely very heavily on this program and my attempts to obtain help from Adobe have been utterly futile.

What exactly happens when you try?
Photoshop 5.0 (from 1998) or Photoshop CS5 or Photoshop Elements 5?
Screenshots, error messages and error codes would all help avoid guesswork.
My best guess is that your version and Windows 8 are not compatible and an upgrade may be required.

Trouble - Installing Adobe InDesign

Just received my new MacBook Pro, and it's great.
I am having an issue with installing Adobe InDesign 2.0
Is anyone experiencing this issue? Could the problem be intel chip related? However I am able to install Photoshop 7 and Ilustrator 10 (the ones before they used CS name)
I keep getting the spinning rainbow, when I double-click the install icon. It just hangs there. The disc is in perfect condition. It was installed on my Power PC Macs without any problems. I am very confused here. Please help.

Trying to install Adobe Creative Suite Design and Web Premium CS6 package. When I run the install I keep getting the error message: "A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder". HOW DO I FIX THIS?

Hey John,
That sounds like a tough one. I searched around a little and found a few other reports of this error but saw no definitive solutions.
This would be what I would recommend you try:
- Be sure you're using the default installation option if you are not already, install to the boot drive, typically C: (you're probably already doing this)
- The amount of free space is really only relevant for the OS drive. I'd try using Disk Cleanup and remove all temporary files
This doc is for Windows 7 but should work for 8.1 too - Delete files using Disk Cleanup - Windows Help
- Boot up in a Selective Startup and attempt the installation again from there. These instructions are the steps I would try - How to perform a clean boot of Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 to diagnose issues
Note: You'll want to re-enable the normal startup afterwards regardless
- Finally, attempt the installation from the Windows built in Administrative account and see if you get the same result, here are the instructions I would follow - Windows 8.1 Tip: How To Enable and Disable Hidden Administrator Account | Next of Windows
Like before, you'll want to disable it and revert back to your normal user afterwards
I'd recommend testing the installation after completing each of these steps I described above. I've seen cases similar to this before, where other software was interfering with the installation, the OS was not reporting accurate free space to the installer, or something is restricting necessary rights to the installer for access to directories needed for the installation. I suspect some similar is happening to you as well.
Please give these a go and let me know if you get it installed.

"Setup Error. Setup has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe Customer Support for assistance. Quit."
If you receive this error also, press Quit and follow these steps:
1. Start
2. Control Panel
3. Administrative tools (in classical view)
4. Event Viewer
5. Application
You will see something like this:
Double-Click for error (emphasized by red color). I have an error like this:
"Error 1327.Invalid Drive: E:\" if you have the same or e.g. Drive F:\ ir whatever letter, you should solve this problem extremely easy - just insert USB-flash into computer (it will launch as E\ or whatever disk) and than run installation again. It will work than.
Setup doesnt start if disk is offline.

Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there.

Having trouble installing adobe photoshop (and illustrator) cs3

i have recently reformatted my computer (Windows Vista Business) and am trying to reinstall photoshop cs3 from a dvd and am having some problems. This dvd installed fine about a year ago when we upgraded the computer from xp to vista but now when i can get the dvd going (sometimes it freezes the computer) i get a couple of notifications:

i am currently working my way through this troubleshooting guide http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/400/kb400992.html but nothing has worked yet so i figured i'd see what the forum could tell me. any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

now i was able to copy the entire contents of the dvd to my desktop, and since that worked i attempted the install from the dvd. as stated above everything seemed to be going fine but now it says installation completed
some problems occured during istallation. Please see below
