Installing and Starting the Application Designer

Hi,
I am trying to integrate peoplesoft FSCM with oracle IPM.
1. I have installed the "PeopleSoft VM Templates for FSCM 9.1 Release Media Pack for x86 (64 bit)" successfully by following the instructions in [http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29416_01/psft/acrobat/PeopleSoft_Financials_and_Supply_Chain_Management_9.1_Feature_Pack_2_OVM.pdf]
2. for installing the PeopleSoft adapter, I am following the "Administrator's guide for Oracle Peoplesoft Adapter" @ [http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21043_01/doc.1111/e17044.pdf"]
For Configuring PeopleSoft Solution Components and Communications, I need to Import the PeopleSoft Project using the "PeopleSoft Application Designer".
When I install the Application Designer on my Windows 7 laptop, It say's installation complete with some errors.
To run the Application Designer, I need to execute the "pside.exe" file located at "INSTALL_DIR \bin\client\winx86\" directory, but the "INSTALL_DIR \bin\" directory dose not consists of "client" directory.
Any Idea, If I am missing anything or doing something wrong?

I ran into a similar issue where the isntaller failed, when I unchecked the PeopleTools check box on this screen

if above is the case as i mentioned in previous response then,
You need to download the latest SAP BASIS 6.40 or 7.0 ".tpz file" (as per you service pack) from service.sap.com. Then you need to put this in the import directory:
\usr\sap\<your system-id>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\importedFiles
Now go to
IR>Tools>Import design Objects, you will find the .tpz file which you down loaded. Import this and refresh your cache.

Adobe Template Error after starting the application

Hi all,
I just developed a WebDynpro Application in which a Adobe Form is used in one view.
After deploying and starting the application I am expecting, that the view with its adobe form is displayed.
Unfortunately I am getting, the following error message:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.adobe.pdfdocument.base.core.PDFDocumentRuntimeException: IOException occured while creating template stream from the TemplateSource : ./temp/webdynpro/blablabla.Adstest2/Adstest2View_InteractiveForm.xdp (No such file or directory)
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

Make sure ADS is configured properly on server & credentials are installed on ur server.Check whether pdfSource is available .It looks like a configuration problem bcos xdp file get generated automatically with adobe form.

Severe problem with installing and starting Audio-DVD Pla

Hi,
after installing the new drivers (SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_8_000.exe) for my Audigy2ZS in XP SP3 i had np mic boost and the mixer did not show the mic as an selectable source. So i rolled back to my old drivers and after that i have problems with installing and starting the Audio DVD Player. I tried so far: uninstalling everything like its said solution ID 72, checking HD for corrupted files and i did a repair installation of XP. Nothing helped. When i only install the drivers and the DVD Audio Player from the original CD everything is fine until the reboot adter installation. When the OS tries to start the "chkcolor.exe" the PC instantly reboots. When preventing XP from doing so, there is no reboot, but as soon i want to start the DVD Audio Player a reboot occurs again. When i try to uninstall the DVD Audio Player before unstillaing the drivers, the is also a reboot. First uninstalling the drivers and then the DVD Audio Player, there is no reboot.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Would be more helpful if you can mention, the O/S. Also, pls mention where
you are getting this error, at kjs or kxs, or, are you able to start the server
and at which specific instance do you encounter this.

Okay, pls check that you are logged in as administrator and installed and now you are logged in as administrator and registering the iAS server. Did you get any installation failures while installing and are you able to register the server using iASAT ?

Never mind sorted it out lol. Somebody did a system restore of a week or so. I had done the update during that time and it was lost. Just redownloaded itunes from the internet and its working fine now.

All Apple iTunes Store accounts must have a valid form of payment set up. Even for free apps and updates. The Payment Declined message comes from your card issuer or payment source; Apple is just a pass-through for the message. You need to find out why your issuer is declining your card.

I get "ordinal 5 (and at times 18) is not found when trying to start the application? Using windows Vista Business.

when starting the application I get the following message "ordinal 5 ( and at times 18) can not be found in the dynamic link libray" I'm using a Lenovo x300 with "Vista Business"

Have you tried to put the Main-Class under a package (e.g. move LaunchSimulator to org.jyothi.sunke.LaunchSimulator or something)? I'm not sure but it's possible that Main-Class can't be located in the "root package", because the JAR launcher can't address it.
Always put your stuff in a package, otherwise it can't be addressed by other packaged classes.
