Installing AOM on Bridge

Once I downloaded Adobe Output Manager onto my desktop, I can't find where to put it. The website says: Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions
Does anyone know why I can't figure this out? Or what the answer is?

The website says: Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions
OK, it means that, in the Finder, you navigate to the ROOT LEVEL Library (not your username or Home Library (which is hidden anyway). Once in your ROOT LEVEL Library, you look for the Application Support folder, inside that you look for the Adobe folder, then the Bridge CC Extensions folder, and that's where you stick (install) the AOM.
Hope that's clear now.

  • Trying to install AOM in Bridge CC but can't find the "Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions" folder - where is it? Thank you!

After updating to 10.9.2 the Finder changed and I feel something is hiding - for example, I no longer seem to be able to "GET INFO" about my hardrive... only my drive and "my documents" etc... maybe this has something to do with not being able to find this folder:  Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions

Jeff... Yes. I meant to mark this solved - found another thread recommending using FINDER-GO TO- and /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions.
    It worked easy.
That little bit of info would be a great addition to that install AOM instructions.
    Thank you for asking!

  • Finally installed Adobe Photoshop Bridge CS6

I Finally installed Adobe Photoshop Bridge CS6 after 7 attempts and 3 appeals to Adobe support.
Adobe technical support was not helpful and I had to solve the problem myself.
The problem was that when installing Photoshop CS6 the Adobe Bridge component would not install.  This was because our corporate McAfee "virus scan enterprise 8.7.0i" was preventing the Adobe installer from changing or writing to the AutoRun.INF file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CS6 Extensions\Adobe Output Module\mediagallery\resources\flashgallery\AUTORU.inf.
Once I disabled McAfee I was able to install all of the software. I am now able to run Adobe Bridge.
Our corporate version of McAfee has not pteviousaly created a problem with software installations.
Problem solved with no help whatsoever from Adobe

Problem solved. Yes, it was a coincidence. The problem had to do with my DVD preferences, not the Adobe installation. Thanks for your reply.

I own a license for CS6 Production Premium. On my new Mac Book Air(256 GB Drive) I would like to just install Photoshop and Bridge. How do I custom install. When I start the download I get the entire CS6... Where is the custom install window? Do I install everthing and then remove the unwanted progams? • Just installed CS6. Bridge tries to open CS4 when I....

Just installed CS6. Bridge tries to open CS4 when I double click a JPEG from within Bridge. CS4 is not installed on my computer.
    Windows 7 computer.
RAW files open fine..... Bridge ---> ACR ---> CS6

    I installed CS6 and uninstalled CS5.
Perhaps this had the same effect.
    What should I do? re-install CS6?

  • Output in Bridge CC missing. Attempt to install fix from Bridge Help. WinZip failed. Now what?

The Output function in Bridge CC is missing. I attempted to install the fix that was available via Bridge help. The WinZip download worked fine. I found the recommended file location. The fix did not install. What else can I use? When will an update be available? Thanks.

In CC, I am forced to leave Bridge, go into the application, and Open the file through the system dialog box.
That is not normal behavior (at least on my Mac I still have all installed applications as option under this menu). By default the open with menu under the righty mouse menu should show all installed applications on your system. It sometimes even shows them double in case of attached disks with back up etc.
This has not changed in Bridge CC. If you have those applications installed on your system at the same location as Bridge they should show.
First try a reset of preferences for Bridge with holding down control key while restarting Bridge and choose rest preferences from the provided menu.

  • Installed Photoshop CC & Bridge CC Updates & now Bridge CC will not open at all

    Operating System - Windows 8.1
Video Card Version - NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 Driver Version 9.18.13.3788 updated 6-19-14
Processor - Intel Core i7-3770 12 GB RAM, 64 bit OS
    PS CC 14.21.1 x64
Bridge CC 6.1.0.116 x64 (I think, I cannot open the program to verify)
    Problem:
    Bridge CC will not open.
    How Problem Began:
I installed three updates on 6-19-14 - Photoshop CC, Bridge CC and Photoshop CC 2014.  After do that I could not open Bridge from the Windows Start menu, the task bar or from PS CC using  File>Browse in Bridge or File>Browse in Mini Bridge.  When trying to open from Start or the Task Bar the icon highlights for about 2 seconds then goes back to normal.
There is no error message or any message except when using File>Browse in Mini Bridge in which case a "waiting for Bridge CC..." message shows continuously but Bridge CC never launches.
NOTE: Bridge CC was used daily prior to updates with no issues.
    Steps Taken So Far:
    I uninstalled Photoshop CC 2014.
I uninstalled Bridge CC and Photoshop CC and reinstalled them with and without the above updates several times.
I called Adobe and was given this links with steps to try: Troubleshoot errors, freezes | Adobe Bridge | Windows, Mac OSI could not do any of the steps that required opening Bridge since that is the problem.  But I did verify no other versions were running in background, updated video card dirvers and temporaily disable scanning programs.
I deleted the SwitchBoard file per this page: Error: Waiting for Bridge | Mini Bridge panel
I created a new Windows user and attempted to open through that user.
None of the above had any impact.
Does anyone have suggestions of next steps to try to resolve this issue and get Bridge CC working again?

  • Q: How can I install extensions for Bridge CS6?

Because Bridge CS6 is not supported by Extension Manager anymore, you have to install them manually.
For MXP extension, you can convert it to ZXP extensions with Extension Manager CS6. Then try steps below.
For ZXP extension, use utility software such as 7-zip, WinZip or WinRAR to extract it to a folder. If there is no mxi file after extraction, then it is a CSXS extension.
For CSXS ZXP extension,  move the folder to following folder.
        Windows: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CS6ServiceManager\extensions\"
        Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS6ServiceManager/extensions/"
For non-CSXS ZXP extension, check the content of the MXI file. Copy all source files defined in "..." to the corresponding destination folders manually. If you are not sure where these files should be copied, please paste the mxi file here.

I just want to correct one comment made here that said that Extension Mnager did not support extensions for Bridge. In fact it is Bridge CS6 (not Extension Manager CS6) that does not support CS Extensions (or Flash Extensions).

  • Installing updates on Bridge an PS cc

I have just subscribed to cc for PS and LR5 only. I am on Mac OS X 10.7.5.
    LR5 installed without a problem.
PSCC installation seemed to stall at 97% and had to shutdown to gain control again. PS opens up and works OK as far as I can see.
    Bridge did exactly the same.
After install I see the updates are available for Bridge and PS, but no matter what method I try I cannot get the updates to run. Frequently left with a stalled installation that I can not get out of except by re-booting Mac.
I have checked help lines and can only find reference to potential of missing language files. I have in the past deleted a number of obscure language files to economise on file space. I would not know how to re-install language files even if I could remember what they are.
Before I uninstall either progs and start again I just wondered if anyone could offer any help please.

  • Re-installed CS3 and Bridge does not appear...?

I was having major issues with Bridge (slow-moving, then crashing and finally an inability to open altogether).  I tried a c number of things like clearing caches, repairing permissions etc.  In the end, I uninstalled Photoshop CS3 and deleted all Bridge files, and reinstalled PS from the CD.  However, after the re-instal, Bridge does not appear in the Apps folder and does not seem to have loaded at all.  How do I get Bridge back?  Any ideas?  Clearly I should not have simply deleted the faulty Bridge app., but I assumed a clean re-install of PS CS3 would re-load Bridge.  Any suggestions?  Thanks....

Don't know why Bridge application was still there while having uninstalled
PSCS3 using the uninstaller that Adobe provides in either the utility folder
or in the application folder itself. (or did you you remove the application
by dragging it to the trash, usually a very bad idea when an official
uninstaller app is provided for this task)
However reinstall should by default install Bridge again in the default
application folder on root level. That is if you have not chosen anything
else when installing from DVD (you mention CD?  but the original CS3 was
    delivered on a DVD)
You also should check if the installer has a checkmark in font of all
application, I think to remember also in CS3 you have the option to choose
for a custom installation without Bridge. Could you check that.
And can you also confirm you have a install DVD and PS is in the default
application folder, that is not in the user account but on root level on
    your system.
Clearly I should not have simply deleted the faulty Bridge app., but I assumed
a clean re-install of PS CS3 would re-load Bridge.  Any suggestions?
    Thanks....

  • I am desperate to install Scitex PS Bridge L2.

it would be great if some one can help me in his matter. The printers accept, only .ps or .prn files for the CTP printing. I discourage myself to give the open files with fonts to them. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

    Hi,
I expect someone might be able to help you but you need to give us some details.
Which operating system are you running on?
Which version of Photoshop Elements are you trying to install?
Are you installing from a DVD or from a download?
    What happens when you try?
