Installing Bi content errors

Hi,
I am trying to install Bi content and i get many errors,
can someone tell me what this means and the solution to it,
Characteristic 0soursystem must equally be a navigational attribute of charac 0asset
characteristic 0asset: attribute 0plant compunded to 0soursystem has a different time dependency
Infoobject 0soursystem must also be also transfered a an attribute of char 0coorder
can someone help me solve this,

I would either check OSS to see if there are any notes out there that would fix your error, or open up a customer message with SAP.

You should generate the export data source for 0FIAP_O03 again, if there is still a problem please goto
RSA1 > SOURCE SYSTEMS > and right click on the relevant source system, find the datamart application component and
right click on this to replicate the datasource.

Errors while installing Business Content

Hi,
It is new system, When I am trying to install any Infocube it has given Runtime error OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED. Then implemented the SAP note 1019055.
To Install Business Content I am following: Grouping: In Data flow before and After wards, Collection Mode- Collect Automatically, Source System Assignment and Install .
Now when I am trying to install I am getting these errors
Process LOADING, variant 0PAK_0U36G4BPCOA4BN43PFVZU3A97 has been saved in target system under name1
Process LOADING, variant 0PAK_0AWN44OD08M313H1SIIA96HT7 has been saved in target system under name 1
Process variant LOADING 0PAK_0AWN44OD08M313H1SIIA96HT7 does not exist in version A
A type "Attribute Change Run" process has to follow process "Execute InfoPackage" var.0PAK_0AWN44OD08M313H1SIIA96HT7 in the chain
A type "Data Transfer Process" process has to follow process "Execute InfoPackage" var.0PAK_0AWN44OD08M313H1SIIA96HT7 in the chain
Process variant LOADING 0PAK_0MPC1AWCV7TGZ1CJ843SRIJZD does not exist in version A
InfoPackage no longer exists in object version A in table RSLDPIO
Variant '0PAK_1909HG1UYCGTBUE171UNQCSDN' of process type 'LOADING' not found in A version
InfoPackage no longer exists in object version A in table RSLDPIO
There many errors of this type.
How to solve the problem. Please help me.

Hi Jaswantha,
Installing Business Content Cube would usually require "Grouping" as "Select In Data Flow Before".
This is as per my observations so far according to SAP Best Practices.
Pls. try this and get back.

Hi Guys,
I am trying to install busineness content for 0BPARTNER. while i am installing i am getting the below error.
InfoObject 0CUST_CLA is used in transfer rules (M) of characteristic 0BPARTNER

When I "Drag n Drop" the infocube 0PS_C021, it shows following errors :
Object 0EMPLOYEE_EDUCATION (InfoSource,ISTD) could not be collected for object PA-PA-IO (Application,APCO)
Message no. RSO296
Diagnosis
You have collected objects in the BW Metadata Repository. Associated objects for the object PA-PA-IO of type Application,APCO have also been collected. Object 0EMPLOYEE_EDUCATION of type InfoSource,ISTD was among these objects. This object 0EMPLOYEE_EDUCATION of type InfoSource,ISTD, is not, however, available in the Metadata Repository.

Diagnosis
You wanted to generate an object with the name '0EMPLOYEE_EDUCATION' (in transport request ISTD) of type 'InfoSource' (TLOGO). This is, however, not available in the BW Repository database. If the version is 'A' then the Object was either not created or not activated.

Errors installing BI Content for LES (Logistic Execution System)

I am on BI 7.0 SP17 and BI Content 703 level 09.
I am trying to install BI Content for LES - cube 0LES_C01. However there are no updated components for Datasources, DTP etc. Only 3.x infosources etc.
Does this mean that none of the BI Content for LES is upgraded for BI 7.0?
When I try the simulation, I get errors relating to the update rules - 'Error installing update rules'. These are 3.x rules anyway, should I ignore these errors?
Any advice appreciated.

Make sure KEY1 Infoobject is available in your metadata repository or in RSD1.The transfer structure is looking for this field.
First install KEY1 and then try to install other business content.

Error occurs when installing bi content

Can any one help me to find the solution for this error when installing bi content.
We started with installing the required info objects for the query 0QM_C12_Q0001 (Inspection Results: Stability Study), but unfortunately the installation process fails with the error message u201CCannot access file /usr/sap/trans/tmp/TRAHASCK.LOSu201C. Please help

just new in this community and hope you can help with my encountered problem regarding Installation in BI content.
I'm trying to activate:
InfoObject Catalog (technical name) : 0CHANOTASSIGNED
InfoObject Catalog(description)        : Unassigned characteristics
upon installation here is the job log that i got:

thanks for the response.
i verified the objects included on the BI content objects window and noticed that the object 0CUST_CLASS_TEXT "active version" is not available and i tried finding 0CUST_CLASS_TEXT_BA and cannot find it.
does this have an effect on the error i got from activating and receiving the error upon activation?
The object R3TR ISTS 0CUST_CLASS_TEXT_BA does not exist
I did follow a document for Building Block Configuration Guide:
B03: General Settings for BI Integration
and the step is included here:
Activating Business Content: InfoObject Catalogs:
1.     On the Data Warehousing Workbench: Business Content screen:
a.     At the top of the right hand frame, choose Grouping and select In Data Flow Before.
b.     At the top of the right hand frame, choose Collection mode and select collect automatically.
c.     In the left hand frame, select Object Types.
d.     In the middle frame, expand InfoObject Catalog and make a double-click on Select Objects.
2.     In the Selection of Query Objects dialog box.
a.     Select the following InfoObject catalog:
0CHANOTASSIGNED
b.     Choose Transfer Selections.
c.     If a dialog box Remote Activation in the Source System <> occurs, choose OK and log on to the source system on the following screen.
d.     If a dialog box appears Exceeded runtime when collecting objects choose Continue.
3.     At the top of the right frame, choose Install and select Install in Background.
4.     In the Install Business Content in the Background dialog box choose Yes.
5.     In the Information dialog box choose Continue.
6.     Choose Exit.

i am getting an error while installing business content for sales and distribution.
i.e-The creation of the export DataSource failed,
The metadata for a DataSource must be created while the export InfoSouce is being generated. An error occurred at that time.

The DS should be Activated at R/3 to Install the Business Content on BI side.
Recheck the same with the following

RSA5--Activate the Data Source -- (RSA6 -- Transport the Data Source -- required if you want to replicate on BI Side)
BI Side
Business Content -- Install the same with required grouping conditions (Only necessary objects would be best option)

Error installing the Content version of Update rules

Hi experts,
While installing Update rule "0PA_C01 0HR_PA_0" from BI content following error is cming,
"Object Update rules E5ILYDNE80GVD52C5Y47ZBDKJ: Error installing the Content version."
Infocube , transfer rules are already installed. Datasource 0HR_PA_0 is also in place.
I have searched relevant quries in SDN.But i did not find the solution.
Could any one throw light on it?

I am trying to activate all the infobjects in BI 7 for the Plant maintenance, QM and CS. While simulating the activation, I get the message:

When trying to generate pdf file from firefox 7.0.1 , getting corrupt content error, used to work with previous versions of firefox

We have done toleration testing on firefox version 5 thru 6 and haven't got an issue with our website generating pdf files for our users. One of our users upgraded to firefox version 7.0.1 and they tried to generate a pdf report, now a screen pops up with Corrupted Content Error The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected. I recreated this issue on my pc yesterday by installing firefox 7.0.1. Any hints as to what I need to look at would help. Cannot provide the url because it is a secure website for law enforcement. Thanks.
