Installing client 8.1.7 on AIX 5.2

Question

Especifically i need the pre compilers of C and Cobolo runing fine... but im facing an
make: 1254-002 Cannot find a rule to create target
error during install.
Can anyone give me a hand please?

From certification matrix :
8.1.7 on AIX 5L Information
o AIX 5L introduces the option to run the kernel in 64-bit mode. This new mode is supported. Please refer to MetaLink note 231901.1
o Warning about missing "crash" during installation of Oracle 8i.
The error message "crash: not found" may appear during execution of rootpre.sh on AIX 5L. This warning may be ignored. Alternatively, the warning can be avoided by creating the following script and renaming it to "/usr/sbin/crash":
