Installing Creative Cloud On A New Computer

I have Creative Cloud installed on 2 computers.
Today one stopped workig forever. How do I install CreativeCloud on its replacement?

Hi Stanjones,
Could you please confirm what you mean by "one stopped working".
Is it giving you any kind of error message.
If you are still running the Creative Cloud on two machine then you need to deactivate the
subscription from one machine to use it on third machine.
Please refer to the following documentation on how to deactivate Creative Cloud.
http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html
Hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any other question.
Regards,
Sumit Singh

    Hi Bussada,
No, you dont have to uninstall Creative cloud from the other machine. You can use your Adobe ID to download and install the software on the other machine. Please ensure that you don't use both machine at the same time.
Download creative cloud desktop app from this link.

  • Why can't I install Creative Cloud on my second computer?

I'm having trouble install Creative Cloud on my 2nd computer -- MacBook Pro. I download the app and clicked on the Installer, and when I initializing the installer, I get this message: Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of the Creative Cloud from "http:www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp'. So I click on Get Creative Cloud and the downloading cycle begin again. Also, it asks for Adobe Application Manager. Does anyone have any solutions? Thanks.

The CC has been activated twice, April 2013, July 2014, it needs to deactivated from one of the computer to install it on the second computer, it might be that accidentally, it has been activated twice.
    Activation & Deactivation Help
In case the previous computer is not available to De-activate then you can choose to " De activate all" while installing & activating it now, it deactivate the previous one & activate this with one activation count remaining.

  • I just changed computers: how do I now use creative cloud on my new computer?

I just changed computers: how do I now use creative Cloud on my new computer?

Firstly, if you still have access to older computer, sign out of CC activation on that computer by going to any product>help>sign out. This will deactivate your activation on the previous PC.
Then go to Creative Cloud Website and download the applications directly or download CC Desktop and downlad applications via that.
If you do not have access to older PC and you are getting a message like "Activation limit reached", the follow the steps mentioned in this document:

  • I cannot install Creative Cloud or download new CC applications. What is the fix?

I cannot install Creative Cloud or download new CC applications. What is the fix?

    I am on Windows 7 - 64bit.
I can not download the new Creative Cloud App from online in the Download Center.
When I try to by clicking on download, it opens the old Adobe Application Manager and Creative Cloud is not there to chose to install.
I was able to install most of my CC applications through the Adobe Application Manager.
I am unable to get Acrobat installed though. The Adobe Application Manager will download Acrobat Pro XI and extract it, but it has a little yellow ! sign that says Installation Failed.
If we can get the new Creative Cloud app installed, maybe I can get Acrobat Pro XI installed afterwards.
When I click the yellow error sign it gives me a web page with the following message:

  • Activate Creative Cloud 6 on new computer

Hi, I had to buy a new MacBook. I deactivated Creative Cloud 6 three hours ago on the old Mac, but it's still impossible to install it on the new one.
    Can you help me?

    Hi Dave, hi Jeff
thank you so much for fast reply. I tried to answer with email. Didn't work. Sorry.
Your questions: It's a brandnew MacBook Pro 15" with OS X.7.4
I'm a german adobe freelancer and had a complementary access to install with www.creativecloud.com/redeem.
First time with the old MacBook everything was fine. Today I deactivated Creative Cloud on the old computer in order to install it on the new one. Deactivation seemed to work, but when I try to install on the new Mac, I get the message "This code has already been used" ... my translation. Exact message in german: "Dieser Code wurde bereits eingelöst".
I looked in my Creative Cloud account - nothing is installed
    I made a system update
    and rebooted my Mac
    Thanks

  • Creative Cloud on a new computer

I am getting a new computer at work. What are the steps I need to take to move my software and subscription to the creative cloud onto the new one?
    Thanks,
    Jeff

NONE. As per Creative Cloud, you can install any creative cloud applications on 2 machines. So, simply login to https://creative.adobe.com/ on the other machine and install the CS6 products that you like. Voila ! You are good to go.
That's the beauty of Creative Cloud. No need to move anything from one machine to the other.
    Cheers!

  • Attempting to install Creative Cloud Installer crashes my computer

I am attempting to install Adobe products from Creative Cloud using Creative Cloud installer. I am on a Macbook Pro version 10.6.8 Build 10K459 if that helps at all.
When I try to install, the authentication window asking for the admin password crashes and I can't type in the window. When I cancel the download, Finder crashes and the only course of action is to reboot the computer manually via the power button.
I can install other programs which go through the same administrator permission without issue, so I'm quite sure this is not my computer's problem. I have re-downloaded the installer several times to no difference.
One additional detail that may help is that I had trials of Photoshop and Flash Pro on the same computer in the past, which have been uninstalled.
    Thank you for any help!!

Just another detail - I was advised to try creating a new user with administrator privilege on my computer, this didn't work either, just had the same problem.

  • Can I install Creative Cloud on a third computer?

The 2nd computer that I installed CC on, died. Can reinstall on a new computer?

    Hi JRID,
You may install software on up to two computers. These two computers can be Windows, Mac OS, or one each.
If you install on a third computer, it will request you to de-activate on the other two computers.  You can then reactivate one of the previous two computers, and use Creative Cloud apps on it.

  • Having problems installing Creative Cloud on my backup computer

Every time I try to install an application using Google Chrome from the Creative Cloud, it informs me that the program is downloading, but the Download Manager never comes up.

    Hi HSID_ User
You can download the Creative Cloud software from here. https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Have you tried downloading the CC app manager with a different browser. Try clearing out the browsers cache in Google Chrome. Did you look to see if the download completed?
