Installing Creative Suite6 for Mac

Recently bought Creative Suite6 dvd for Mac. Couldn't load them. Talked with Adobe support. They ended up lining us up with the trial version which is expiring shortly. So we don't need to purchase as we already have it. We need to get it installed on our computer. How do we do this?

When you mention you bought Creative Suite 6 DVD for Mac did you buy the licensed versions(with the serial numbers) or the just the installer(in a DVD set)? If you have bought the licensed versions, you could license the trial versions that you would have installed already. Please refer to this document and let us know in case of any issues.

I start with install creative cloud for download trials, however, since I'm in China, the creative cloud somehow automatically defaults and installs the software in Chinese version(for example, there is no way that I can choose the language of premiere, then it already been installed in my mac system in Chinese). I thought that perhaps it's because my account is set in China, then I try to uninstall all the trials, and try to delete creative cloud from my mac ios platform, but because I'm not familiar with the IOS platform, I think I didn't delete the creative cloud properly, after that, even I successfully install the English version of PRE, the creative cloud couldn't work. And I couldn't open AE v12.0 with mac IOS v10.9.4 unless upgrade AE to v12.0.1, and since the creative cloud wouldn't work, the adobe application manager is also not working. And I download creative cloud again from the URL, try to install, after that, creative cloud is running, but it shows still damaged.
So all in all, how could I fix this crisis circle?
How could my IOS system get a fresh start to install the creative cloud, it's there some files that I suppose to delete or what? Please try to give me a clear instruction with this, there are similar problems with people around me as well, I want to help them, too.
And also what is the difference between adobe application manager and creative cloud?

Hi I downloaded ACS6. But how do I go on with it now when it is downloaded?
The download has finished but it seems like not all is downloaded? I can't see the filesize as one usually does.

yes, you can download a software trial and use the serial number that came with your cd to activate the trial software to unlimited use.

Error 48 when installing creative cloud for desktop on mac

hi jeff when installing creative cloud for desktop we have this problem, tried everything but no success on mac osx lion the message that gives creative cloud for desktop app on installing is this: error code 48, a critical file/directory can't be access
I had the app but i decided to remove it because i have logged in in other machines, the log in windows told me to close the session on the other machine, i did that, and then started the problems
Now I'm stuck, have tried most of the solutions on the web and adobe forums and nothing works

Installed MS Office for Mac, after uninstalling test drive, still reg to TD

I installed MS Office for Mac 2004 this morning, after being very careful to uninstall the test drive version, after reading about problems it causes not to do so. I followed the instructions to uninstall, emptied the trash after, did the installation, updates, etc. But when I look at the "about" section of word, etc, it shows that the product is licensed to "Office 2004 Test Drive User". I did fill in the info on name, address, etc, and the "test version" watermarks that I was seeing on excel spreadsheets pre-installation are gone now. I have rebooted the machine. Do I need to register each application separately? Did I miss something in the uninstall?
Also, after installing the new Office, I had problems accessing the internet from accounts other than the one from which I'd done the installation. I asked about that in the internet related subforum here, thought I had it fixed, but it's been inconsistent, seems to work on-and-off in the different accounts. Did the accessing of the net during the course of the install knock something out of place?

I installed office after deleting test drive. Registration is fine. Microsoft creates a user pref folder for each user account. This will be activated with your individual pref. the first time you open one of the office programs. It will be different/reset for each user on the computer. So it is possible that different users would experience different problems connecting to the internet. I copied my users pref and library folder over from my powerbook to the imac and all of my settings seem to work just fine on the new imac.
My suggestion would be to uninstall all versions of office on your imac and then reinstall office 2004. Be sure to do this in an administrator account and to repair permissions before and after install.

Safari Keychain error after installing Office 2008 for Macs

I installed Office 2008 for Macs this morning. It then checked for updates to download, found a couple of big ones, and they were downloaded.
Since then, when in Safari, I keep getting a message saying something like "A keychain cannot be found for Safari" with 2 options: Cancel or Return to Default. Neither one changes anything.
I use only web-based email (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo) so this is a major annoyance for me.
From Office 2008 for Macs, I really only need to use Word & Excel, so I would like to uninstall Entourage, Messenger and probably PowerPoint as well. However, at this point I'm, afraid to do anything else. (Also, i thought it was strange I didn't have a chance to pick w/ Office products to install.)
Any ideas on how to get rid of this Keychain message in Safari?

Follow Up: A few days later, there was a Apple software update. After it was installed, the keychain error message went away.
The keychain error was so annoying, I had decided not to install Office for Macs on my iMac, but since there's no longer a problem on my MacBook, I will probably go ahead and put it on the iMac.
