Installing CS5.5 Trial Gives 4 Errors and 2 Warnings
I've tried installing the CS5.5 Trial on 2 different computers and 3 different installations of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, all with identical results: The installation completes, and the software seems to work fine, but the installer gives the following 4 errors and 2 warnings:

I've run the installer as Administrator, I've run it with my anti-virus software turned off, and I've installed it on a completely fresh Windows installation... but I always get the same 4 errors and 2 warnings!
What's going on?

I installed the CC trial with an error window saying: Could not create the file '/Users/dranim/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/13.2/dummy'. That was the first window. I originally had Adobe Photoshop Extended, then upgraded to the Production Suite. I ran the Adobe Cleaner, and that uninstalled most Adobe products, including my existing Adobe install, and then I re-installed everything with the same error code. Since CS4 came with CS5, I've installed AE CS4, but would really like to upgrade because I'm new to Creative Suite, and not sure how CS4 integrates with CS5...CS4 After Effects installed perfectly. I do have a 64 bit system, and installing to an OCZ Vertex 2....every other suite installs perfectly, except AE. And I think that is the coolest program in the Suite. I thank you all so much for taking the time to help, I really want to get AECS5 running...I did try to install after doing the recommended items Adobe suggests for Exit Codes 6 and 7, including turning off many startups...

Pixlemator had less than a minute to finish downloading, then stopped. I go to the purchase page and it says install. When I click on install it says there was an error and tells me to go to purchase page.
Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store and try re downloading the app.
If that didn't help, open Sysem Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Select: Mac App Store and identified developers
If that area is greyed out, click the padlock icon to make changes. You may be prompted for your admin password.
Then try downloading the app. -
When i am installing Multipoint server it gives following error error code 0xc0000001

this site. When I installing the server it gives following error. After that I download the WMS 2013 Evaluation even it is also gives the same error. What is the problem this is coming? How can I resolve it?As the above poster mentioned, this looks like an issue with the VM setup you are using. Can you share the specs of the virtual machine so we can help troubleshoot where you may be running into issues?

N1SM 1.3.3 OS Load gives syntax error and drops into interactive install

I am trying to load Solaris 10 u4 onto a T1000 and a X4100.
This is my first installation of N1SM.
When I give the load command the T1000 will boot off the network, but after a while I very
briefly see a syntax error and a line about using US Keyboards, then the installation goes
into interactive mode rather than unattended.
This is very frustrating.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be going wrong?
I have installed N1SM on Solaris 10 U4 x86 and have the recommended patch bundle installed.

If you want it, ask Sun for it ... official patch will not be released for it yet ... and I wouldn't count on official patch so soon ...
If you have a support for N1SM ... ask for the IDR , it's no. is IDR137229-01 (x86) & IDR137228-01 (sparc) , not sure about the linux one ...

Download and Instal CS5.5 Trial
I'm trying to download and install the CS5.5 trial on my MacBook Pro. During the "Extracting" phase in the download assistant, a window pops up with a message saying:
"The following disk images couldn't be opened"
Image: MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1.dmg
Reason: invalid checksum
What does this mean and how can I resolve this?
I included an image, hopefully to get a better idea of what I am seeing.Can you check out these threads and let us know if they helped?

Cannot Install Sql Server 2008, Gives The Error "Database Engine Services Failed"
I cannot install Sql Server 2008 R2 on Windows 8. Tried many times but failed because it gives the error "Database
Engine Services Failed". Sql files cannot be corrupted because i can install the same setup on Windows 7 and i can connect to databases.
I tried all the things below;
* I'm uninstalling everything related with Sql Server from Control Panel/Programs And Features.
* I'm deleting all the keys related with Sql Server from Regedit.
* Later i'm restarting windows, and trying to install again. But during the install it gives the error "Database
Engine Services Failed", install is finishing but when i opened the Management Studio i cannot connect to Database Engine with Sa naturally.
* My firewall is already closed. And i have not any antivirus software.
* I gave the permission for port 1433 on firewall.
Please help me. Why i always take "Database Engine Services Failed" error? I will get crazy cause of that for many days.Here's the ERRORLOG file which i found under the folder;

I have Adobe CS 5.5 with a valid product key (On the original box) but it wont install on my new work computer. This product is owned by my company and has been used in the past on my old computer.
I enter the product key and get the customary Green Check Mark:

I Click "Next" and it displays the screen below. I do not have any CS 5.5 programs installed on this computer. (It is brand new - opened and set up this morning)
I used this disk to install CS5.5 on my previous computer which has crashed and did not need to Upgrade anything. I do not have any other product keys to use for the second box and I have found nothing on this problem in the forums.

You copy of CS5.5 appears to be an upgrade version. THis means it was made available at a reduced price because you had an earlier version that you upgraded from. The second image you show is asking you to provide the information for that older version as proof that you qualify to activate/use the new one. -
ITunes trying to start, then gives an error and closes.

When I click on iTunes, I get:

When I click on Don't Send, I get:
"iTunes.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An Error log is being created."
I restart it and restart it, yet it still doesn't work..

It sounds as though you might be having a different problem, which is you are not getting any sound accompanying your videos -- is that the problem? I found out what's wrong only because I still have an old (2010) Macbook Pro and it's Airport software gets the same error, but it tells me what the problem is and let's me fix it. The problem was I changed my AppleID password and it's apparently stored in the Airport Extreme. The windows version just says Unknown Error and offers Software Update, but there is no update. The problem is Airport Utility keeps opening and repeating this error on all Windows machines. If I didn't have the old mac there would be no way out. Please update Airport for Windows.
PS: I don't have a new Mac because:
1. Price is more than $1,000 higher than comparable PC.
2. No 17" laptop offered.
3. Can get a really good graphics card.
4. Limited availability of the really high performance Intel chips.
5. Price is too high (oh, yes, I said that already).You need to ask Apple for assistance with getting back into your old ID.
