Installing CS6 Suite

I am considering purchasing CS6 Design Suite. In installing the applications, can I pick and choose which applications to install and can I split the applications between two different PC's. Will they all use the same serial number to install? And will that serial number be valid for as long as I own the software in case I need to reinstall if I should get a new computer?

Can I install CS6 Suite on my laptop AND my desktop?

I use my desktop at home and my laptop on the go, i need to work on my from both devices, am I able to do this without breaching licensing terms?

How come computer still has Acrobat X Standard after I have already installed CS6 Creative Suite?

I thought Adobe Acrobat X Pro was included with the CS6 creative suite download. My computer still has Acrobat X Standard installed. How do I get my computer to download the X Pro version?

First, you would need to uninstall Acrobat X Standard and then while installing CS6 Suite, Acrobat X pro will be listed.
Go to Control Panel>> Program & Features>> Unintall a program/Add/remove programs to uninstall Acrobat X Standard

When I search for updates the raw converter doesnt get update automaticly. Frustrating, is costing me the whole morning.

Hi, Can anyone help me? I had to change my computer, so I re-installed my whole CS6 Suite. Everything works except my Acrobat X Pro... It won't even open!! I am using a Windows 7 PC ... I even had Dell try and help me... the only thing they where able to do was help me be able to see .pdf docs in Reader! But I can't open a document, or create one, block sensitive info, nothing!

Hi Lisley56, I found the solution there is a Plug in for Acrobat X Pro that came with Adobe Suite CS6... I downloaded it and that did it!!! It's called "Acrofix". Try looking it up in the Adobe website!!! I hope it works!!

What happens to my installed CS6 Master Suite apps with CC?

This line of questioning may be the product of a suspicious mind but - what happens to my investment of Adobe applications when I subscribe to CC?
Will they be overwritten or deactivated?
If I'm in a situation where I have no access to the Cloud, will I be able to use my installed Master Suite CS6 applications seamlessly? What Adobe apps WOULD I be able to use if I have no connectivity?

Jlucchesi your CS6 Master Collection license will continue to be applied to your currently installed software. If you decided to download and install additional CS6 software then you can apply your Creative Cloud license to those newly installed CS6 applications.
If you are annual subscriber then it is only necessary for you to be online once every 99 days to verify your active subscription for your desktop products.

I give up. Can anyone tell me what I must do get the program to actually work?
I spend more time trying to get Adobe Acrobat to work, than I do actually doing my work.
My OS is Windows 8.1. My system has 16 MB of RAM, and hard disks are not overfilled.
I run update virus checker (Kaspersky) daily.

Could you please tell what are the challenges you are facing while trying to access Acrobat ?
Do you get any error message ?If yes ,please share the screen shot of the same.

Try repairing it from Control panel, or try launching it with a different user account and check if it works or not.

What should be the proper steps to un-installed CS6 creative suite from an old computer and re-installed onto new computer ?

I would like to un-install and re-install CS6 Creative Suite onto a new computer.
What are the proper steps required; in particular for the license code ?
I worry if I don't do it properly I may not be able to re-activate on my new computer.

You do not need to uninstall though you can if you prefer to. Your license allows you to have two activated installations, so if having a backup installation available is something you could use, you might want to keep the original installation intact.
If you do not want the old installation in working order then the minimum you need to do is deactivate it by opening one of the programs and choosing Help -> Deactivate. This will deactivate the entire suite for that machine. You could leave it this way as the use of the applications is disabled at this point, except if you wish to you can reactivate it. If you wish to uninstall you should be sure that you perform the deactivation first.
As far as getting the software on the new machine goes, you install it the same way you did originally, using the serial number to activate it.

Trouble Installing Creative Suite CS6

I'm trying to install Creative Suite Web Design Premium CS6 LS16 on my machine that is running Windows Vista Business (32 bit.) The installer is "failing to initialize" and prompting me to download and install Adobe Support Advisor. I did that and ran it. It told me that it couldn't find anything at fault and sent me here. Any ideas?

I already try to update CS6 and camera RAW as you suggested by I have this message : "le serveur ne répond pas ou les paramètres d'internet ou du pare feu soit incorrects".
I disabled the firewall but it did nothing, I still have the same message.

Has anyone else installed cs6 master suite on a MBP icore 5 processor. Does anyone recommend upgrading to icore 7? My basis for purchasing the MBP would be for website design etc....

I have CS6 installed on a 3.1GHz i5 iMac and a 2.66GHz Core2Duo MacBookPro. It runs absolutely fine on both machines. There should be no reason to doubt that it would run on an i5 MacBookPro. Note: I highly recommend at least 8GB RAM; 16GB if you can afford it.

From disc or download?
From disc: insert the disc and follow the prompts.
From download: you need a .exe and .7z file. Double click the .exe file. That'll do the extracting and the installation.
