Installing different language on a PC

We've purchased a CS6 license in the US and need to use the license in another location.
We know that the language we want is supported and available.
On Macs the Adobe Application Manager allows you to easily switch the install language for CS programs.  We're aware only one laguage runs at a time and that is fine.
How does one switch the install laguage on a PC for CS applications?
We do not have Creative Cloud at this time.

How does one switch the install laguage on a PC for CS applications?
You don't. The language for standalone installs is dictated by the serial number and there is no way to change it.

  • Install different language updates for my Apple ID

Just bought a Macbook Pro Air in The Netherlands and configured its OS (Mountain Lion) in the English language. This is my preference.
My Apple ID however is registered for The Netherlands (cannot change that as long as I have Dutch billing info).
Can I install English language updates if I log into the Store, or will it install updates in the Dutch language instead?

    Thank you.
I should have mentioned that I left Windows for OS X, so this was probably a newby question.
Now I have the confidence to apply the updates.

  • Install different language than OS when MUIs are used.

I work for a governement department that has all workstations confugured with English Windows Vista Enterprise version but have French MUI installed. But when ADE installs it only installs in English even if they have selected French as their language on their PC.  Is there anyway that we have have the french version of Adobe Digital Edtions installed when the base OS is English but when a users has selected a French as their language setting?

No, not on Windows.  ADE 1.7 only looks at the base language of the Windows install to determine which language to display.

NLS is not software its a patch which mean after you install EBS as you mention only American English avaliable. For instance you are living in turkey and you need to turkish language too for your EBS. So you have to follow:
    1. First, donwload related language NLS pack from e-delivery
    2. Upload this zip to your EBS server
    3. Unzip file and change files permisson to applmgr user (let us say your applmgr user is applprod)
    4. Before start NLS be sure your Db character set should support related NLS(In this example Turkish language, dont forget this please
    5. Open your Oracle Application Manager screen from EBS than license your Language(here its turkish)from OAM by using:
Oracle Applications Manager >> License Manager >> Languages >> French)
    6. Login as applmgr user, soruce env file then run adadmin utulity
    Choose :
    4. Maintain Appl. Database Entities menu
    then
    *3. Maintain multi-lingual tables *
    7. While is finished than close your application services, run adadmin and take your system to maintance mode
    8. Go to related NLS patch directory and run adpatch utuiliy and start patching
    Thats all
if you need to apply one other NLS (for instance romanian language) you have to follow same steps before apply romanian NLS patch
Those steps also mention at my blog:

PS: Please dont forget to Applying Performance Patch for Patching (8576725) before start NLS patches

  • I can't install multi language pack - english for visual studio 2013 update 3

Error : Microsoft portable library multi-targeting  language pack - enu element not fount
Error : Microsoft visual studio 2013 performance collection tools - ENU package failed.
I have downloaded visual studio 2013 in some other language. I wanted to change it to English so I downloaded multi language pack- English and installed. I came up with the above error. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

I don't know of a reason you posted your question in a Visual Basic forum. You should probably find a Visual Studio forum to post your question in.
However I've never tried to do what you want to do. But maybe these links can assist you.
Microsoft Language Interface Packs (LIPs) and Visual Studio
"When you install different language versions of Visual Studio on the same computer, you can only switch languages between matching editions. For example, if you have an English Express Edition installed, a German Express Edition installed, and a Professional
Edition installed, you can only switch languages for the Express Editions, not for the Professional Edition.
Starting with Visual Studio 2012, the Professional, Premium, and Ultimate products use a unified language pack. To install more than one language version of these products, you must install a full language product first and then install one or more language
packs." |||||||||| "NOTE: The Professional, Premium, and Ultimate products starting in Visual Studio 2012 don't support installing multiple language versions of the full language product on the same computer. After you install one

  • I installed Reader (in English) and it prints in a different language

I installed Reader [01/03/2010,in English] and it prints in a different language/garble.
I received a hospital appointment email with an attachment confirming my next day's appointment.
The attachment confirms place and time with a barcode to be scanned upon arrival at the hospital's kiosk.
So far all is good but, when I print the attachment it looks similar in format but is garbled.
It does not appear to be a translation to a foreign language but rather a series of random letters and symbols.
    Examples:
Time:      prints out as; Ujn f ;       Provider:prints out as: Qspwjef s ; Location: prints out as: Mpdbyjo
    09:00AM   "     "   ;    1: ; 11BN      Not only are the letters garbled but they are merged
I don't know what's wrong or how to fix it. My question is "What I Gotta Do?" HELP!

It "could" have something to do with improper embedding of the fonts used in the document. Reader is substituting for a different font which as you can see, rarely works.
One thing you can try is in the print menu find the option to "print as image" and see if that works.
If it doesn't, there isn't really anything you can do except to contact the folks that made the PDF and request that they embed all fonts.

  • How to Install Airport Utility in a differant language to windows

    Hi,
I have a German Windows XP PC. How do I get the Airport Utility (For the new AirPort Extreme 802.11n) to install in a different language (English)?
    Thanks for your help,
    Adam

The application is always going to install in whatever language you have the PC set to. The only way I can think to change this is to change your installation from German to English.

  • Installing Character Sets for different languages

We have a need to have the character sets installed for 14 different languages. Our BW system will receive data from other systems with different languages installed. We don't necessarily need to login with these languages but just need the character sets in order to properly read the data. Do we need to go thru the entire language installation process for each language in order to get the character sets installed? That seems like a rather lengthy process and I'm looking for other options. Also, once  I get all of these character sets into my development system is it possible to transport these characters sets into my QA and Production
    systems?

    1. Start the FM 7.0 installation from the CD.
    2. Work your way to the Setup screen and select "Custom" installation.
    3. Select only the "Dictionaries" components (i.e. uncheck the other
components) and click on the "Change" button.
    4. This will pop-up the available "sub-components", i.e. the
    dictionaries.
    5. Select the ones you want and click on the "Continue" button and
then the "Next" button to install only the new dictionaries.

  • How to install Virtual Keyboard with Different language ?

    HI,
How to install Virtual Keyboard with Different language (Arabic) in MacBook Pro ( Mac OS X v10.5.8 Leopard).
    Thanks,

How to install Virtual Keyboard with Different language (Arabic) in MacBook Pro ( Mac OS X v10.5.8 Leopard).
What are you talking about exactly?
OS X comes with a virtual keyboard already. It is called Keyboard Viewer. You activate it by going to system prefs/international/input menu and checking its box (plus the box for Show Input Menu in Finder). At the same time you can check the boxes for the Arabic keyboard layouts.
You can then select the Arabic keyboard layouts and the Keyboard Viewer from the "flag" menu at the top-right of the Finder.
Let us know if you have further questions. If you are talking about some specific non-Apple app, could you provide the url?

  • Outlook 2013 installed in English only- But Showing a Strange E-mail Archive Folder, in a Different Language

    Dear Outlook IT Professionals:
Has anyone experienced seeing a strange e-mail archive folder (in a different language, other than English), within an English only version Outlook 2013?
Basically, I found an e-mail archive folder, which is in another language, in my e-mail Inbox; that I did not create, and its properties seems to be hidden.  Therefore, I am unable to see the archive folder's attributes.  This Microsoft Outlook
was installed the English language only, but the language of the archive folder is either Japanese, or Chinese.
I have disabled RSS Feeds, even before seeing the strange archive folder, then I just verified that it is still disabled; so this cannot not be the culprit.
I don't want to automatically assume that this is a security issue, so any logical technical explanations/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
Security programs may cause such issue, please temporaily disable all your security programs to check the issue again.
In addition, we can start Outlook with /cleanviews switch in case it is caused by a corrupt view. To do this, exit Outlook, press Windows key + R, type
outlook.exe /cleanviews in the Run dialog and press Enter.
Also try /resetfoldernames switch to check the result. Use it with the same way above,
    outlook.exe /resetfoldernames.
    Hope it helps.

  • Installing dictionaries for different languages in FM7.0 for Windows

    Hi there,
I'm wondering how it's possible to install the dictionaries for different languages in FM 7.0. I installed it about a month ago and now I only have te languages US English and UK English in my Paragraph Designer. I know from my previous work that it is possible to have a lot more languages over there. When I look in the manual that's delivered together with the software, it says that:
"The FrameMaker CD contains dictionaries for all supported languages. However, the default Windows and Mac OS installation contains only one dictionary in a single language."
That's great, but when I re-enter the CD, I cannot find the other dictionaries anywhere.
Can someone please help me how to fix this? It's really important for handling files in different (european) languages, e.g. for the hyphenation.
    Thanks a lot!

  • How do i Install a different language(Menu) into N...

I want to install Russian language into my dads Nokia 5500. He doesnt really need to write Russian TXT Messages/SMS/MMS, but it would be nice to know i/him could anytimae we want to. So the main reason is a Russian MENU. Ukrainian might be even better, if possible.
Also bought my friend a Nokia 6300(s40) as a present. About to buy the same phone for my girlfriend. Any ideas on how to install a Russian menu into their phones?
    Thanx In Advance
    My Nokia history: 6340, 6200, 5500, 6300, E61i, E51, E71, N79, N97 and finally E72-2.
(bought the N97, tried it for 2 days and sold immediately. I was Very disappointed with this device, NOKIA ! ) Proud Nokia shareholder.

What the couple of people who have told you otherwise did not mention is that the only internvention authorised to be carried out by anybody other than Nokia service points is use of Nokia Software Updater; anything else you may be recommended to try could cause damage to your phone and invalidate your warranty so it's not worth going down that route.
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Nokia USA so I'm not able to assist with that bit.
