I'm installing the EHP4 on an ERP 6.0 System and get the following error:

Please check the activation log SAPAAA*.DV1 to know which tables are not activated.

While checking your system we saw that table GLSP did not have any column defined at the database level.
Since it is a freshly installed system, I recreated the table in the database via transaction SE14.
I check the other tables process in the current phase and the other tables are consistent.
Please continue with this phase.

We are installing EHP4 SP6 in our ECC 6.0 system. Weu2019ve created a .xml file in our solution manager and calculated a download queue with the MOPZ. The installation is on a Windows 2003 32 Bit platform with a SQL server 2005 SP2 DB.
In roadmap step 2 (Extraction) the installation stops with the message: u201CChecks after phase PREP_IMPORT/TOOLIMPD were negative! Last error code set: Unresolved requests in buffer <SID> Check logfiles 'TOOLIMPD.ELG' and 'H:\EHPI\abap\log\SAPehpi.ECO'
During executing this job RDDMASGL a shortdump is generated:

Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "RADMASG0_C3" had to be terminated because it
Has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
The following syntax error occurred in program "SAPLSDMP " in include
"RADMASUTC " in line 4146: "The data object "DELTAB" does not have a component called "MAINOBJEX"."Note 1449201 - Index becomes extension index: Index is deleted
discripes the error/solution.
I think the error arise after implementing note: 1449201, but Iu2019m not sure.
In the note:
"Make sure that you note the manual prerequisites. If these are required in your system, you may not under any circumstances implement this note without adjusting the structure DDGENTAB. Otherwise, syntax errors would occur in the report RADMASUTC and then Dictionary activation would no longer be possible.
If errors occur when you implement the correction instructions or when you perform the manual pre-implementation steps, open a message under the component BC-DWB-DIC and refer to this note. Allow SAP Support to have access to your system."
For about the solution we have to contact SAP. Iu2019ve created a SAP message and Iu2019m still waiting for a solution. Did anyone had this problem before and what was the solution?

Hi Rik,
I've just had a near-identical problem whilst trying to install support packs onto our BI 7.00 Test system. I found that my problem was because someone had performed a TP IMPORT ALL into the BI Test system, which imported all the modification adjustment transports from the SP import in the BI Development system too early.
I fixed the problem by logging onto the BI Development system and looking at the version management for the object that was generating the syntax errors. I found a reference to the original transport for the object and re-imported it into the BI Test system to overwrite the latest version, which shouldn't have been in the Test system in the first place!
I don't know whether SAP would recommend this approach because I don't know what side-effects 'downgrading' the objects in that request could have. However, I do know that it has fixed the Support Package problem, and I can now run SPAM quite happily once again.

I performed what you mentioned, I execute "Create_SHDDBCON" function module on SE37... but I didn´t continue this execution because I´m not sure what I have to fill in that parameters: DBUSER ; DBPASS and CONENV. You recommended some values to that fields/parameters... but where you have been seeking this values/information? How you know that?

We are planning to install EHP4 for ERP 6.0 in our ECC server. Will this also install EHP1 for Netweaver on them?
Also, we have a portal running on a different server using the ECC server as the backend. Will applying EHP1 for Netweaver (as part of EHP4 for ERP6.0) on the ECC server have any implication on the portal? Or is it mandatory that we upgrade our portal also to EHP1 for Netweaver?
Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Hi Ajay,
As part of the EHP4 installation in the ECC Server the basis will get automatically updated to q NW EHP1 level (ABAP).
The EHP1 is not mandatory for the Portal from an ERP EHP4 perspective - you can choose weather you update (EHP1) or not - therefore there are 2 different production versions offered in Maintenance Optimizer.

To use a language in SAP, you must first import the language in the system using transaction SMLT.

Is EHP4 on ERP 6 EHP2 an Install or Upgrade??

Hello Sandeep,
#2 means Upgrade from a lower release to ERP 6.0 with EHP4 included.
for example version upgrade from ERP 5.0 to ERP 6.0 including EHP4.
3 means Installation of EHP4 when you are on ERP 6.0 already.
for example ERP 6.0 SPS16 to EHP4 or ERP 6.0 EHP1 to EHP4 etc.

Our environment is Windows x64. We have 2 HA-Systems and one of them has also 5 Dialog Instances. Do we really need to update the Dialog Instances? Which would mean to uninstall the old ones and do a new installation, because an Update doesn't work, it always that there is already an DI on the host. They are all copying the kernel from
server\usr\sap\<sid>\sys\exe\nuc\amd64 and the EHPI installed there the right kernel (7.01). So when we start the DIs, they will get the right kernel.
Regarding to the Guide, we would also have to update the ERS. But they are also getting the kernel from
server\usr\sap\<sid>\sys\exe\nuc\amd64 and as they were started after the Downtime, they took the new kernel and are running well. We followed the note 1050343 in the ehpi-phase MODPROF_TRANS and installed the MS-DLLs with vcredist.msi and the MMC.msi. We think that doing this (installing both MSIs) and the kernelupdate on the DIs should be sufficient.

Using a cradle with the Tungsten E2? Tried bypassing the cradle and just use the hotsync cable? Tried a different computer yet? Somehow, the PC is having problems getting a signal from the device. I assume you have the laptop charger plugged into the laptop during this? Not going through a docking station or port-replicator.
One crazy thing you can try is unplug the charger from your laptop, remove the battery from the laptop and leave it out for like 10mins and put it back in and reboot the laptop. This should not cause side effects but still contact your OEM to make sure that nothing else is needed after leaving the battery out for extended period of time. Keep me posted.

Problems witch JSPM after installing EHP4 for ERP2006

I installed EHP4 for ERP2006. We have an ABAP system with Java Addin (running on redhat). Now some java components are on patchlevel 7.01 patch 5 and some are still on patchlavel 7.00 patch 17. As far as a can rememder in one document it was said, that those components that are still on the old level could be patched to a newer 7.00 patchlevel after the EHPInstaller.
So I tried to start the JSPM (which is now on level 7.01 5), but it doesen't open the wellknow screen. Only the following lines appeard:

I read in the help menue that I could open a JSPM Gui on a different host by entering:

But it doesn't work.
Any ideas how to implement the missing components?

When you see this one: Waiting for SDTServer to connect ...
Then go to JSPM directory and execute StartGui.bat, it will open a java gui window if you have JRE installed on this windows PC. Put the hostname in and port 6240, it'll lead you to JSPM session. Also make sure in NETSTAT port 6240 is being listened.

1. Is DI installation is domain installation ?
2. Is DI standalone server is a member of domain ?
3. Are you able to ping and connect (telent) to system "clusterpqua.internal.russ-ergo.com" on port 3300 ?

clusterpqua\sapmnt\trans" from DI Server ?

Download EHP4 for ERP 6.0 using Optimizer

We're trying to download EHP4 for ERP 6.0 uisng Solution Manager
optimizer. We've reviewed EHP4 master guide but very confused as how to
download through Solution Manager. For instance, our business team
asked us to install SRM server and FSCM of EHP4 for ERP 6.0. When we go
through optimizer and find FSCM uses is grayed out and SRM server is
not even there.
Questions:
1. How to enable grayed out components in optimizer so we can download?
2. Are all those components such as SRM server installed on ECC server,
or should be on other servers such as SRM ?

Are they available for the user (S-User) in the service marketplace? You can check by trying to download the stack from there instead of SolMan.

This depends on your local setup - both are possible.
