Installing Elements 10 on a MacBook

I am having problems installing Elements 10 on a MacBook. I keep receiving an error message about half way through the installation:

I have tried restarting and installing several times and get the same result. I saw a similar question on the forum, but when I checked the font library in the harddrive, I can't tell which folders are the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

For the fonts, the problems would be any font folders that are empty (no fonts in them when you look inside).
Is this the bundled version of PSE and Premiere Elements? If so, see this:

If not, I would manually remove any bits that got installed, then try downloading the trial and installing that. If it works you can just enter your serial number to convert it to the paid version.

Jonahood if you bought a new Mac without an optical drive then you can copy the installation files onto a USB drive on a computer which does have an optical drive. You can then install on your new iMac from the USB drive.

Installing Elements 12 on Mac

Hi,
I am trying to install Elements 12 on my Macbook Pro 10.8.5 OS and at the point where it indicates you need to sign in with an Adobe ID, I click on the sign in button and it processes indefinitely without allowing me to enter any information. I previously installed this software on an older Macbook, so I have my serial number and Adobe ID already, but I have since uninstalled it from that computer. At this point I am not even able to install anything because I cannot get past the sign in option. I have restarted both the disc and my computer, turned off all programs and firewall, and updated my computer completely. Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.

Thank you for the response. Is there anything specific I should look for in the activity monitor that may impact my ability to install the software? I checked it last night when I was trying to install and nothing stood out to me. I am already installing as an administrator, but will check again to make sure there aren't any interferring permissions.

Interesting. After posting this question I had an "Online Chat" with Adobe. I was told that the license allows up to two installations on the same operating system but not one of each. After hearing this I found the clause in the agreement that stated this.
Obviously I do not believe that this is a customer focused policy.

Photoshop Elements 4.0 on macbook pro?

Hi!
Anyone know if it is possible to install Photoshop Elements 4.0 on macbook pro 10.6.4? Cause when I install it, restart computer, open the application then it says that something is invalid, name, licence nr, ... But I know that everything is correct and I tried to uninstall it and then again install it but the problem remains.
Any word of advice?

A quick Google search found the page below that states that PSE 4.0 is NOT compatible with Leopard so it is certainly not compatible with Snow Leopard.
If you need PSE, you are going to have to upgrade to a newer version

I'm also ripping out my har having bought the Elements 11 combined pack and no matter how I try to install (disk, internet download etc. it always errors out e.g.

How to re-install Elements 10 onto iMac without hard drive?

I originally bought Elements 10 on a disk, which I loaded onto my macbook. I have now bought an iMac, and the file transfer of the elements 10 from the MAcbook to the iMac didn't work. Adobe support tell me to re-install Elements 10 into the iMac. But the iMac doesn't have a hard drive and the adobe products page has my serial number of Elements 10, but it doesn't give me a download option because it was originally bought as a disk, not as software - so how do I reinsall elements 10 into my iMac?
