Installing Elements 10 on my new computer.

I bought Elements 10 i January 2012, and want to install it on my new computer. Adobe chat can't help me because this is a VERY old version. I can't find my serialnumber, and it is not on my page in Adobes system eighter.

Re-installing Elements 10 on a new computer

I recently bought a new computer running Windows 7. I need to install my copy of Elements 10 on it.
As I downloaded it originally I don't have a copy on disc. I do have my registration code.
The Adobe site only seems to offer Elements 11 for $79.50 as an upgrade.
I'm perfectly happy with version 10 and don't want to pay just to re-install it.
Help!

Install Elements 11 on a new computer

I have a new computer. I had Elements 11 on the old one. How do I install 11 on the new one ?

The same way you installed it on the first one. If you have installation disks, use them. If you downloaded the application the first time, check your Adobe account online to see if there is a download link.
You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

Installing PSE 9 on my new Computer

Hi All,
I had purchased and installed Elements 7 on my PC and then I upgraded through the Adobe site to Elements 9. So I have an actual installation disk for 7 but not for 9. I have a serial number for my purchase of 9.
I recently bought an IMac and I would like to install 9 on my new computer. However I only have the disk for 7 but I paid for the upgrade to 9 on my original PC.
How do I install Elements 9 on my new computer without an installation disk??

Well, I'm afraid you'll have to buy PSE again. The thing is that if you'd bought the disc version of PSE 9 you would have gotten a serial number that works on both platforms, but with your download serial number only works in Windows. I don't know why adobe does it that way, but they do, so it doesn't matter about installation media--your serial number won't work. Downloads are always tied to one platform, either mac or windows, unlike the boxed versions.
Adobe does offer a crossgrade, but for PSE that isn't sensible, since they always send the most recent version and charge the upgrade fee, and for PSE you can find the full boxed version most of the time for less than Adobe charges for the upgrade.

I still have the redemption code but when I entered it, the software said it was redeemed by another ID before. The serial number that you received the first time you used the redemption code is what you need to complete this. If you did not keep a record of it then you might be able to find it in your Adobe account online if you registered the software. If not, I don't know what can be done since you probably didn't purchase it thru Adobe and they will not have any form of proof of purchase.

You can't run PSE from a USB drive, nor can you transfer PSE to a different computer via a USB drive. PSE must be installed on a computer using the installer program provided by Adobe.

Could you tell us if you are talking about Photoshop 4.0 that was released in 1996, or Photoshop CS4 (PS 11), or Photoshop elements 4?
Older version might not work if your C: drive is bigger than 1TeraByte.
