Installing Elements 11 on Mac

I'm currently using Elements 11 on my Windows laptop but have recently purchased Elements 12 so would like to 'move' my Elements 11 to a Mac I occassionally use.
Unfortunately I can't locate my Instal CD for Mac so is there anywhere to download it from?
Also, how do I re-assign the licence key to the MAC .......... That's assuming I can get a version of 11 in the first place!

This password prompt is the system's own native prompt & would accept the system password only. Please make sure it is the right system password (all/admin rights) and the installaion should run.

Installed Elements on my Mac...where did it go?

I'm using the Akamai installer to install Elements on my new Mac desktop. I open it, it runs through the steps, gives me a "your software has been installed" message...so, where did the software get installed??? I do not see it anywhere on my computer! (I am a new Mac user though so maybe I just don't know where to look). Any input or assistance would be very much appreciated!

Its usually in the Support Files folder but you may have to enable the viewing of hidden files.

Hi,
I am trying to install Elements 12 on my Macbook Pro 10.8.5 OS and at the point where it indicates you need to sign in with an Adobe ID, I click on the sign in button and it processes indefinitely without allowing me to enter any information. I previously installed this software on an older Macbook, so I have my serial number and Adobe ID already, but I have since uninstalled it from that computer. At this point I am not even able to install anything because I cannot get past the sign in option. I have restarted both the disc and my computer, turned off all programs and firewall, and updated my computer completely. Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.

Thank you for the response. Is there anything specific I should look for in the activity monitor that may impact my ability to install the software? I checked it last night when I was trying to install and nothing stood out to me. I am already installing as an administrator, but will check again to make sure there aren't any interferring permissions.

Trouble installing elements 12 on mac maverick.

I have a MacBook Pro with 10.9.4 OS. Just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 and I am having trouble installing. I put the disk in my computer and my Mac just spits it back out. I tired everything I can think of and nothing seems to get the disk to read. Has anyone else had any problems getting Elements to install? Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem or point me in the right direction of where to find the answer?

How to install Elements on a Mac?

Hey I just finished my trial of Elements. I purchased the Elements/Premier Elements combo, so I can play with the video too. Problem is, the product codes given won't work on the Elements trial I have installed. Also, the downloads have not been working for the combo, and I only see Windows options. How can I download and install for my Mac?

if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com

Installing Elements 8 for Mac from disc: don't know how to do it

I got Elements 8, in both PC and Mac versions, bundled with a Canon printer. I gave my friend the PC version, which worked wonderfully for her. I tried to install my version, but no Install screen came up, so I can't see how to go from here. Can you help?

Kpknight36 I am not sending the authorities to your house but typically you have one software license for your use. I am not sure of the End user license agreement which was provided by Canon. You may want to consult the documentation which came with your printer.

I have downloaded Elements 11 to my Mac. I can open the Organiser, but when I try to open the Editor it just stays on the initialisation screen.

Help needed in installing Elements 12 onto Mac

I have 2 Macbooks, one older one and one brand new retina with no cd drive.
Bought Elements on CD, and installed it on my older device all fine. Used Air Drop to move/copy it over to new Macbook and when I try to launch it, there is a Congig errer : 16, saying to uninstall. Ideas please???

SimonOwens I would recommend you either use the DVD sharing feature or copy the files locally and then try installing the software.

Installed elements 13 on Mac Pro running yosemite - but can't find elements

Ive downloaded a free trial from Adobe, and it appears to install successfully, but I can t see it. Tried Finder and searchlight, but no sign of it. I then downloaded Lightroom to see if I could download that ok, and it was fine. This is a brand-new laptop, and has never had Elements installed.

Did the download complete? If so you need to go to the zip folder and extract the files. Then double click the set up application.
