Installing elements 13

I have received a box version with dvd of elements 13 - but my mac doesn't have a dvd drive.
From previous request I got a link to the download page

Good link and I thought I was there but apparently not….I can't find an english download on the page. Korean isn't my strong point.
Any ideas?
I tried to go in and use the 20 digit serial number on the box as a way in via registering but apparently thats 'invalid'.
Is this a usual experience with adobe? Tempted to give up and throw it in the bin.

For anything else you might wanna consider checking your system's language and connection settings. The installer will be default use the system language and region identifier as will any stuff with the web page. If you really are away from home, use a VPN or proxy to bypass geo tracking.

Which version of Photoshop Elements are you trying to install?
Are you installing from DVD or a download?
If DVD, make sure you are using the Windows one, not the MAC one.
What device are you trying to install on?
Does your system meet the required spec?
Are you on Windows 8 or Windows 8.1?

Problem with installing Elements - from noob

I have problems with installing Elements, it gives my an unknown mistake - I already have CS4 up and running, could this be the case?

Chances are not very good that pse 4 will run on os x 10 6.8 unless you were upgrading from an earlier mac version that already had pse 4 installed.

Hi,
Since you already have one copy activated the serial number must be logged in your account details - I would first check that the one logged and the one you are attempting to enter are the same.
You can check your account details by going to www.adobe.com and clicking on Manage Account. You need to sign in with your Adobe Id and then click on View All under Plans & Products. Next click on View your products and after a while it should produce your list.
If there is a problem with the serial number, only Adobe can help you there (we are just users). Please see the response in this thread

When I've tried to download and install again it says that the "Object Already Exists." It may exists, but it is not visible in the file or in my list of programs on the Startup Menu.

You should not have to uninstall Premiere Elements 12/12.1 in order to install and run Premiere Elements 13 on the same computer unless your computer is overloaded and the computer resources are compromised. Just use one program at a time.
Can you still use 12/12.1 on this same computer that will not let you use 13?
What specific Window operating system are you using?
Let us go through the usual drill...
1. Does the problem exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
2. Are you using a pen and tablet device instead of a mouse?
3. Did you install the program with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
4. Disable the SLCache Folder found in Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit
Local Disk C
Program Files (x86)
Common Files
Adobe
and in the Adobe Folder should be the SL Cache Folder that you delete or disable by renaming the Folder
from SLCache to SLCacheOLD.
5. Are you running the program as Administrator and is the latest version of QuickTime installed on the same
computer as Premiere Elements 13?

When I click Elements 12 a screen pops up with a red install icon, I click it and it askes for the serial number. It won't let me type in letters only numbers. I already did the serial number once. How do I get this to work? I don't want to be a programer!

Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?

As long as you bought a boxed version, yes. You can have two activated installations of PSE. For the boxed versions that can be two macs, two windows computers, or one of each, but downloads are usually limited to two computers on the same platform.

How do I install elements 12 without my disc on a new computer?

I recently bought a new computer which does not have a disc drive. I need to install elements 12 on my new computer without the disc. I do have my product key. Any Suggestions?

You're welcome. It was not an answer, it was a question, and it could lead to being helpful if you explain why you think you need to uninstall.
As far as uninstalling goes, you will uninstall it like you do for any program, which depends on what kind of operating system you have. If you wish to retain albums and whatnot, maybe the following link can provide some guidance.

Yes you can store images on an external hard dive and have them referenced in Organizer. It’s best to export copies to separate folders/subfolders and that will ensure iPhoto does not get corrupted.
Alternatively you could continue to use iPhoto with the Elements Editor set up in the iPhoto prefs as your external editing app. Then there is no need to use Organizer and no need to duplicate your images.
You can then call up photos directly from iPhoto as normal with the additional option e.g.
Double-click on a thumbnail to edit in iPhoto editor.
Control (right) - click on a thumbnail to edit in the elements app.

Windows 7 Clean Install Elements 7 Install

I am going to upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7 with a clean install.
I will have a backup of my hard drive.
After I do the clean install of Windows 7 and install Elements 7 how do I get Elements 7 back to the way it was in Vista. I am particularly concerned about restoring all the Elements 7 tags.

If your photos reside on the C drive only, and you put your photos and catalog folder back to the same exact locations they had on your Vista system, then PSE 7 should be able to open the catalog just fine. Do Help > System Info in the Organizer to find the location of your catalog folder.

Unable to install Elements 12 on Windows 8.1

When I try to install Elements 12 on Windows 8.1, the install fails. It says it needs DirectPlay, but according to Microsoft, that has been depricated. I'm caught in a vicious loop trying to get Elements 12 installed on my PC. What's up with that?

I downloaded the file, but it will not open. It has a .dmg extension, and apparently I don't have the necessary app to unpack it.Help please.

If you registered PSE before, go to the main page of adobe.com, sign in and go to your account and you should find the serial number there in your purchases.
