Installing elements for 10.6.8 and overlaying logo on video?

Just downloaded the trial of Premiere Elements, but it won't work as I am on a 32bit mac about 6 years old - running 10.6.8.
Please can someone tell me where I can get the right trial version for my OS?

I need to make videos with a logo overlaid in them. Either mooving image with my log on top or a slideshow of still photos, also with my logo on top.
Can Premiere Elements do this? if so, how? or please could you give me a link to where I can find instructions that are easy to undertand for a video novie like me?? :-)
I have tried iMovie and all sorts of other free mac video editors. In all the versions, my .png file is being imported with either a solid white or solid black background - even though I saved as a PNG 24 with transparency - and saving in exactly the same way for web graphics, works GREAT... (with the correct transparency) I also tried using psd files and tiffs (transparent tiffs) and got the same problems.
In fact in iMovie my png file gets imported with the graphics bleeding WAY beyond how it looks in my image editor... never seen that before, its really weird - anyone know why this is happening and how to fix?
Please can someone help me - if I need the full version of Premiere then I will have to look for anoher solution but I don't mind buying Elements if it works how I want and is EASY to do what I need.

Not that far up - there has only been a few replies. The download manager did NOT let me choose my OS, and when I tried to use what I spent nearly 4 hours downloading, it told me it would only work on 64 bit systems therefore I presumed mine must not be that.
The intel core due thing is what I copied from my 'about this mac' area.

Well, there is a whole world of free or affordable software out there like GIMP, PDPaint and similar. Otherwise if you want to stick with Adobe stuff signing up for the CC photography program would be the most cost-efficient way...

Installing Elements on both a PC and Mac?

Bought and installed Elements 11 on my PC today. But it will not install on my MacAir as it is not recognised as Mac software. How do I install it on my Mac?

It should not. Have you used it for more than 30 days? According to adobe downloaded serial numbers are good for one platform only. Of course you can enter the boxed version numbers into the trial, but serial numbers for windows downloads should not work. If you got it to, good for you, but it's an anomaly.

I've reviewed another thread that said this was possible. Indeed it looked like it was. In RAD 7.5, I go to Help -> Software Updates... Click the tab for Available Software, click the button for Add Site... Click the button for Local... and go to my C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 4 Plug-in

Problems Installing FFMpegX for use with QuickTime and other software

Okay I don't know whether I should be posting this here or under the board for Using Mac OS X Panther and earlier operating systems but I used to have the FFMpegX video and audio conversion software installed on my Mac an Apple 12' PowerBook G4 but recently had a system OS reinstall when my hard disk became defective and I was unable to make repairs.
I backed up all my files but of course I couldn't back up the software I had downloaded. Was fortunately able to redownload some of my apps but this is a case where an app of mine I want back won't come back.
I download the installer and it fails to mount the disk image even on my desktop. I am running Mac OS 10.3.9 Panther -- I tried searching for an older version of ffmpegX I could download but that didn't work either. Since when is ffmpegX shareware? When I used it the software was freeware.
Anyways, it is such an essential program foir me that I would pay the fee just to get it back but I can't even download the trial software to begin with. I have tried downloading from the main website www.ffmpegX.com and a few other links I found on Google but to no alas none have seemed to work.
I have plenty of videos I like to encode and re-encode from time to time using my Mac from VOB 2 .DAT 2 AVI 2 MPEG 2 M4V (iPod format) 2 WMV 2 MOV etc and vice versa using Divx and XviD codecs I NEED FFMPEGX what can I do?

I need FFmpegX and/or (in either case actually drop the or) software for Mac OS X that allows users to convert video .DAT files from VCD to AVI.
I have Divx codec for Mac and 3ivx software with Divx Doctor II -- an AVI 2 MOV video conversion software + D Vision 3 also installed. I currently have installed Safari 1.3.2 also.
Any suggestions! Please help any way possible. I just have to get FFmegX working again.

This is PSE 13? If so, it's not a bug, it's a feature. The new adaptive grid view in the organizer, where you see the thumbnails edge-to-edge, doesn't do stacks or version sets. Press. Ctrl+D/Command+D to get back to the old detail view instead.

Install Elements 12, attempt to run and asks for "sign in" gives correct email, I give password, and system crashes. What should I do Return program,? Lightroom works great,

System seems unable to get registered. I am asked to "sign in" i give the correct password,system dies. I looked at my Adobe acct. and it has my lightroom correctly done, nothing for elements, can I enter this manually as the system doesn't seem to accept any other input.

Did anyone helped here? I have a similar problem but nobody seems to know how to help. Do not accept calls for Element 12 programs and the chat group cannot help either. What should we do? How do I install Elements for Windows 7 PC with 64 bit? Get error message - file archive part missing

We purchased Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 on September 7, 2014 and have tried a variety of things including searching through FAQs on the Adobe site, etc. etc. and cannot get our downloads to work. We are avid computer users and have never had problems downloading software before.
From our account under "orders" - I have tried clicking on the Akamai download manager and the Alternate Download Method on for each application with the same results.
We have a Windows 7 PC with a 64 bit operating system and Internet Explorer 11.
On all attempts we get an Adobe screen with 2 links – 1 for a file ending in .7z and a 2nd file ending in .exe.
I click on the first file and confirm the download completes at 100% (not paused, etc.) and is in the downloads folder for my user name on the PC.
I click on the 2nd link for .exe and I receive the error message below – 2nd screen shot – “file archive is missing” all folders/files must be in same folder.
So I see it’s a winzip file (as a winzip pop up folder had come up also) so I download the free version and unzip the files in the same downloads folder under my user name to try that.
I click on .exe file link again and same message. I tried copying the files directly to the downloads folder (as they all unzipped into a subfolder called PSE 12 and tried clicking on .exe again but get the same message.
For Premiere I tried the same and got same results on the 64 bit version download.
I do not know how to access the software we purchased.
Any help or advice is appreciated.
Also - if anyone knows how I can contact Adobe for a full refund so I can just buy the boxed software instead - that would be helpful as well as that is not easy to find online either.

The QuickTime player works on 64-bit systems. (It's a 32-bit application, but it should run fine using the standard 32-bit-on-64-bit Windows-on-Windows emulation.)
What's the precise text of your installation error message, dc? (There one or two different ones I can think of that might mention 32-bit)

Windows 8.1 update has been stuck in "Preparing to install" mode for 3 days now and I cannot stop it

My Windows 8.1 update has been showing "Preparing to install..." for 3 days now. When I click "Stop installation" it says I need to provide administrator permission and doesn't have any way for me to provide this. My account is the administrator
account for my laptop.
I have already seen a similar thread that said to open a command prompt with admin privileges and type "slmgr -skms", but the solution did NOT work. Basically, it said the usage was incorrect and popped up 5 windows of information that I didn't
know how to interpret (yes, I tried to provide the options it wanted, but they were incorrect).
Any advice would be appreciated!

In case anyone else has this problem, on Windows 8.1 I had to open up the Control Panel, then type "troubleshooter" in the search box. I clicked "Troubleshooting" and then found "Fix problems with Windows Update" under the System and Security section.

I have beeb trying to download and install firefox for my new MAC and have not been able to. It seems to download and won't install when I drag it to the application file. Nothing appears in the file. Is there something else I need to do?

I have downloaded firefox for my MAC OS X Lion, just purchased in December, and have done so several times but when I try to install it per the directions, nothing happens. The file that shows up says Alias in my applications and your instructions to Eject Firefox from the menu are not clear to me. Firefox does show up in the "Window" box but that's the only place it says firefox. Whenever I click on the folder, it seems to be emily. This installation process just doesn't seem to be working or either I'm not understanding it.
