Installing Encore

I have Premier Pro CC and am instructed to use a special process to get Encore.
Here are the instructions:
Encore CS6 does not have a stand-alone installer, and is not listed as an available app in the Creative Cloud application.  All CS6 products are included with the Creative Cloud subscription, but there is a special process to download those applications.
Open the Adobe Creative Cloud application.Mac OS: Go to the Applications folder and open the Adobe Creative Cloud alias.
Click the Apps tab in the Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Locate Adobe Premiere Pro CC and click More Information.
THE PROBLEM IS THIS:  Under Adobe Premiere Pro CC the link says "VIEW TUTORIALS", NOT, NOT "MORE INFORMATION."   The link sends me to the tutorials page, which has nothing about Encore.

JLBlueberry my apologies for the confusion.  The instructions you referenced can be found at Encore CS6 not installed with Creative Cloud - http://helpx.adobe.com/encore/kb/encore-cs6-installed-cc.html.  The Creative Cloud Desktop application was recently updated to refer to online tutorials instead of the Adobe Premiere CC page at https://creative.adobe.com/products/premiere.  You can visit this page to download Premiere Pro CS6.  For more information on how to install Premiere Pro CS6, and gain access to Encore CS6, please see Download previous versions of Adobe Creative applications - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/download-previous-versions-creative-applications. html.

  • Help, I get this error code when installing encore cs5 from master collection Exit Code: 6.

    Hello all,
I have been having a problem installing encore cs5 into my Dell xps studio 8100.  the machine is literally three days old and aside from the os, there's nothing else installed in it.
I was able to run the installation for CS5 without any issues until it got to encore.  everything else installed without an issue but it refuses to install encore.  I have installed the same master collection on another machine, a little older than the new dell, and it installed flawlessly.  But on the new machine, no dice.
I have posted below the error msg logs i received from the install.  Any help would be much appreciated please.

  • Install Encore 2.0 on windows 7 64 bit

I have changed computers and tried to install my software PPRO, Encore and Audition
    2.0 on the system.
Trying to install ENCORE 2.0, I have to install an previous version (1.5) first (upgrade from 1.5 to 2.0).
When I try to install 1.5 it says that ENCORE 1.5 is not compatible with the new system, so I cannot install 1.5 first.
PPRO 2.0 f.i. asked for two serial numbers, first the 2.0 and the 1.5 version, and that worked fine. But Encore asked for installing 1.5 first.
How can I install 2.0 without installing 1.5?
    Thanks for replying
    Chris

    The installation has been succeed.
This has been done as follows:
I installled Encore DVD (Encore 6), the basic disk so to say. And that worked well. (Strange, Encore 1.5 did not install due to systemproblems).
Then I installed 2.0. So you have to store not only the latest  former DVD, but all former DVD's as I did luckely.
I will look if everything will work now, but the installing has been done
    Thanks for the help.

  • I think I need to re install Encore off my discs. When I ask Premier Pro CS5 to send my project to Encore, Encore opens but does not receive my movie sequence. How do I re install Encore only without upsetting my movie?

Hello. I have the Premier Pro CS5 suite on Windows. Can you advise me how to re install Encore off my discs without affecting any of my movie in Premier Pro please?
I ask Pro to send the movie sequence through Dynamic Link into Encore so that I can burn the sequence to a disc.
Encore does open but the sequence does not arrive from Pro.
Last night the sequence did arrive into Encore but took forever to transcribe and I eventually cancelled the process as it appeared to get stuck and did not quite get to writing to disc.
This morning the sequence does not even arrive into Encore.
Very frustrating when I have a 4hr movie that I want to write to Bluray so I have now created 4 separate sequences and want to try writing them onto DVD in 1hr chapters.
Hope someone can help me with this. Cheers. Janice

Hello Ann. Thank you for your help. I have re installed EN and I have now
sent parts of my movie to AME. I have then tried several different methods
of getting the encoded clips into Encore successfully. Once in the Project
panel and the Timeline, the movie does not show up in the Monitor panel
above, so I have proceeded to build and write to a disc. I've tried a
number of options but always end up with EN 'not responding' and having to
    close the program down.
Something else is that I do get a message whilst in Premiere Pro that there
is an update available for AME, however, when I look online I do not see an
update for CS5, although there are 2 updates for CS6. Can you suggest what
I could do please? The Encore problem is the one that concerns me the most
as I am not able to record my movie.
    Looking forward to your reply.
    Kind regards.
    Janice

  • Can't install Encore in CC

I know this is my fault, but can't figure out how to fix it.
I was using CS6 bought on cd but needed CC to edit Sony F55 footage. I uninstalled CS6 through Win7 control panel and now when I try to install Encore as described in Adobe instructions for CC users it asks for my serial number. I assume it's looking for my CS6 disc s/n but I moved that software to another computer and don't want to screw up that install.
How can I install Encore now? The CC application says PP is up to date so it won't let me do it.
    Thanks all

    >CC application says PP is up to date so it won't let me do it
CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

  • Can't install Encore...

I get an error when I try to install Encore:
"Update failed. This update is not applicable for you."
    What is wrong?

I see so you are trying to install the update to Encore 6.0.2 then?  Have you tried opening Encore and selecting Help>Updates?
If you continue to face difficulties with the installation process for the update then the next step will be to review your installation logs.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret your installation logs at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.

  • Can't install Encore - serial number incorrect

Trying to install encore with my Production Studio Premium, says my serial number is incorrect (and it isn't)
Message was edited by: Kevin Monahan

    Hi Kevin
It seems encore is not included in the production studio premium since premiere 2. has a DVD authoring capability.  I would have needed to buy encore separately.  but i'm okay with the file/export/dvd.  Thanks!

  • Installing Encore CS6 with Premiere CC 2014 - Not in Previous Versions

I have a new computer and am ready to install Premiere/Encore/AME. From what I understand, in order to install Encore, it's recommended to use the Creative Cloud desktop app, and click the "Previous Versions" button to see the CS6 version of Premiere. From that point, you can choose to install just Encore. To be clear, I have not installed Premiere CC 2014 or AME yet. So when I click the "previous versions" button, the only two programs that appear are Edge Animate CC and Gaming SDK. No Premiere option. If I'm looking under "all apps", I can see Premiere Pro CC 2014, but not an option for CS6. Is there another place I can download Encore CS6?

Same problem. When I select "Previous Version", the only apps with previous versions available are Bridge, Edge Animate and Gaming SDK. No CS6 versions show up at all.
I tried the process described above to log out, quit cc, rename the opm.db file, then log back in. But I am unable to log back into CC. (Or rather I am immediately logged back out again.)
Maybe this is because I am using an enterprise version of CC??? Mac OS X 10.10.2

  • Why won't my mpegs play in Premiere after installing Encore?

When it came time to burn a DVD of my feature length project I found Encore was not installed. I used my CD disks to install and when I reopened Premiere again my .mov files (added after capturing the HDV footage) play fine but the mpeg files from the hdv camera are offline. They will not link. I cannot import nor can I render them in the sequences.  I can find video renders that play without audio but I cannot find the audio renders.  My captured clips are on the drive and play fine in Windows media player and bridge.  These are my project settings:
(they worked perfectly before the Encore install)
For editing with IEEE1394 (FireWire/i.LINK) HDV equipment.
16:9 interlaced HD video at 29.97 frames per second.
    48kHz audio.
    Drop-Frame Timecode numbering.
    General
    Editing mode: HDV 1080i
    Timebase: 29.97fps
    Video Settings
    Frame size: 1440h 1080v (1.3333)
    Frame rate: 29.97 frames/second
Pixel Aspect Ratio: HD Anamorphic 1080 (1.333)
    Fields: Upper Field First
    Audio Settings
    Sample rate: 48000 samples/second
    Default Sequence
    Total video tracks: 3
    Master track type: Stereo
    Mono tracks: 0
    Stereo tracks: 3
    5.1 tracks: 0
    Submix mono tracks: 0
    Submix stereo tracks: 0
    Submix 5.1 tracks: 0
Last note: my video preview settings are on I frame only mpeg. When I first opened one sequence it was on avi and I changed it somehow. Still all sequences are no I frame and there is no way to change them.

I had seen that page thanks. I think my sequence presets may be off but my sequences actually work. Project is mixed between mpeg clips from tape and mov tapes from DSLR Canon T2i. The Mov clips all play on the timeline as well as the titles and other music that I imported.
The only issue is with the mpeg clips which did not import into a new project I created.  I am wondering if there is a way (if it's the right solution) to reinstall the correct codec for mpegs into Premiere.  The clips play in Bridge, Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic perfectly so they are not corrupt.

  • Premiere Pro CC & AME CC crash on startup (after installing Encore CS6)

    Hi guys,
Yesterday Premiere Pro CC was working correctly. I installed the Premiere Pro CS6 family, uninstalled Premiere Pro CS6 to preserve Encore CS6, and then arrived this morning to a machine that wouldn't run either Premiere Pro CC or Encore CS6.
Here's what I've done, and I'm still experiencing crashing on startup.
UPDATE #1: It's worth noting that Premiere Pro CC starts correctly when I logon as a new user, yet I've checked all preferences and my permissions are all set to read and write.
UPDATE #2: Adobe Media Encoder also crashes upon startup. How about some help?
UPDATE #3: I've reinstalled all 23 CC apps and run the Adobe CC Cleaner. Still nothing.
    Unintalled Encore CS6
Uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Pro CC
Deleted the preferences upon startup by pressing the SHIFT key
Looked into error 0xc000000 - this is not in my crash log so unhelpful
Looked at all the permissions of my library and preference files
I can't find any other options close to a solution in the forums.
    Some quick info --
    Model: iMac14,2, BootROM IM142.0118.B00, 4 processors, Intel Core i7, 3.5 GHz, 32 GB, SMC 2.15f2
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M, PCIe, 2048 MB
    OS Version:      Mac OS X 10.9.2 (13C64)
Please look into this ASAP. I have urgent client work that needs doing!
