Installing FIORI TIMESHEET Recording & Approve COMPONENTS

Hi Guys,
While i'm trying to install FIORI TIMESHEET Recording & Approve components related to UISRA* on 7.4 gateway server and SRA* components in ECC ehp7 server as mentioned in the installation guide .
I have installed UISRA002 on GW server but when i try to install UISRA010 prerequisites are UI_INFRA & UI_INFRA add-on's it asks for the stack xml file as shown below do we need to use solution manager ?
if the components were updated kindly let us know the new components or advice how to fix this issue .

Hi Krishna,
Do not install UISRA*. Those are old UI.
Important Note: Please use new UI with new SAP Fiori Launchpad
New UI components have UI extension points and work with new SAP Fiori Launchpad.
Please find correct components based on your Backend version.

You need to configure this as MM Configuration person and this is part of MM Consultant. Go to IMG, SPRO
Material Management-->Purchasing-->Purchase Requisition-->Release strategies for Purchase Requisition.
For business workflow linkage use txn "SWETYPV" and connect the business object to the Workflow template.
Once MM Configuration steps are done then maintain Task ID 00007986 in IMG Settings for Approve Requisitions App as described in the help link that you have.
Once all settings are done first see if you are getting work item to approve in SBWP business inbox to approve as a approver and then check FIORI App.

Instalation completed though some aditional components failed to install correctly

Hello, I've been trying to download Photoshop CC, but when the download is close to finish it fails and it says that the instalations has failed. When I click to know more about it, this is what it says "Instalation completed though some aditional components failed to install correctly" . When I click for more information about the problem, this is what I get :

After Effects CS5 Mac says "Quicktime is not installed on this system, some components...

the error message is "QuickTime is not installed on this system, some components will not work correctly."
And when I open After Effects CS5 on MacPro 2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with 16GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 running 10.6.3, it is basically not functionaly, because it will not open any quicktime movies without an error message.
Quicktime is installed on this mac.
I have run permissions and run diskwarrior, and it has not solved this problem.
Any ideas?

There are a few things that cause After Effects to report that QuickTime is not installed.
One is the obvious one: If QuickTime 7.x is not installed, After Effects will report that QuickTime is not installed.
The next most common reason is quite different: The TCP communication with the QuickTime server is blocked, so After Effects thinks that QuickTime isn't there at all. The fix for this to remove the blockage in communication. Sometimes the blockage is because of an aggressive firewall program, which sees the TCP communication and stops it. If this is the case, then you can either turn the firewall software off or specifically allow the QT32 Server component to communicate; instructions for letting a specific process communicate are different for each firewall program, so you'll have to look in the documentation for your security software for information about doing that. Another reason is that QuickTime can fail to initialize fully because it gets stuck loading a badly written importer component. Internet Explorer install stuck on "Installing Windows Internet Explorer Core Components" Windows Server 2003

I am running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition R2 x86.
I'm trying to install Internet Explorer 7 but the installation is stuck on "Installing Windows Internet Explorer Core Components". CPU Usage is stuck at 100% (svchost.exe is at 99%).
I'm at a bit of a loss as to what I should try next. Does anybody have any ideas?

Well, I decided to just reboot my machine and IE 7 seems to have installed itself properly.

Manual Tasks not updating correctly once timesheets are approved

I created several manual tasks as I needed more control over the dates. For example "Team Meetings" start 2/2/15 - 4/29/15. After creating the task we scheduled these to start on 2/4. Resources that attended the meeting posted time for 2/4 while
those that didn't had no entry for the period. Once timesheets were approved it changed the task dates to 1/26/15 - 5/13/15. For those resources that did post time their start date changed to 2/4 and their end dates were all over the place. Those that didn't
post time their start date changed to 2/11 and again had various end dates. In addition the % complete did not update. The same results were on all tasks that time was applied.
Another interesting change was to an auto task where no time was submitted. Only one resource and the task end date changed from 5/15/15 to 5/18/15.
With the exception of me the max units for all other resources is 100%. I am not assigned to either of the tasks described above. The tasks in question are not effort driven. Task type is fixed duration for all project tasks.
Please advise what I need to do to correct this mess.

Fiori Timesheet Approval

Hi Friends,
In timesheet approval app, is there a possibility where manager can reject timesheet in one go for the entire week, rather than clicking on each line item for rejection.
In one of the project, where business enters time to multiple items according to projects which they are working and the current process followed here is to reject the complete timesheet of entire week, rather than respective day or line item.
Right now, we need to click on individual line for rejection and which client doesn't want and they wanted one time rejection for entire week.
Is it possible to customize the approval screen.
Please advice.

Hi Srikanth,
As per the current design the default is approve and for Rejection you need to click on the entry which you have to reject and select a rejection reason. This was done for faster approvals since rejections is not the most common scenario.
we are in process of coming up with a new design for partially selecting some entries for Rejecetion.
For the time being the only work around would be to create a new view to replace the current view using the extensibility concept.

Time record approval with ESS/MSS

Hello,
I am new to MSS and I am facing some problems. I would like to get the time approval process started.
The projects are set up with cProjects and then transfered to PS. The WBS-items are taken for the time recording. Now I would like to approve this time recordings.
Unfortunately I don't have an idea what has to be configured to use the uwl:
- I think that I need to customize CATS to use the workflow (but which one)
- and then to configure the UWL in order to get the items...
Is this true?
Navigation through the portal and calling "team" in the MSS-menu an uncaught exception occurs saying that I have to configure infotyp 0008 for the employee I am using. Why do I need to set up the infotyp 0008 in order to see my team?
Calling the application for approval direct leads to the MSS overview.
Could somone bring some light in my darknes and tell me what I have to configure so that the project manager / line manager can see the recorded time that needs to be approved?

I fear that you are trying to download OLDER Software on a newer Operating Sysytem Meaning that you need to Install the Latest Version of Adobe on the Newer Operating System for it to work Properly. Be sure to always check the minimum System Requirements.

Fiori Purchase Order Approval - inexplicable missing work items

I'm asking this here because I have run out of things to try. At the moment we have users of the Purchase Order Approval app finding that some work items don't appear in Fiori, when they have work items visible in business workplace.
I did the following things in the live system to check the user's work items:
used function SAP_WAPI_CREATE_INBOX to check which work items they should have
called the backend gateway service method GET_LIST on class CL_GBAPP_APV_PO_API, with the valid workflow tasks in the filter table. I got the same work items, and as far as I can see this is exactly the information the Fiori app should have got.
I can't see any obvious way the Fiori app itself would filter the results.
I've not found relevant SAP notes.
Any suggestions on other things to check?

I've added the GET_LIST output and the worklist function which should show the contents of the user's inbox.
They are seeing nothing in Fiori. We have a custom task but Fiori knows about it from the task filter select option.

New iMac...trying to set up sound recording form the internet but my microphone isn't working for facetime. I have soundflower installed...recording into Adobe Audition. Can't seem to get them all working...any help?

I'm just setting up my iMac, and am not very familiar as I'm just coming over from Windows. Working on setting up my recordeing software (will most likely be Audition) and I need to be able to record from the internet as well as from a microphone.
I've installed soundflower but now the micropohone is not working in facetime. What is the proper way to set all this up?

I would do 1 thing at a time:"now the micropohone is not working in facetime"
Here is what you can check to get your mike working in facetime:
1. Hold down option while you click on the speaker next to time a. date,
under input Device see if your mic is marked. If not: ✔️
2. Click the apple top left/System Prefs./click on the Sound speaker:
under Input highlight microphone.
3. When you have factime on go to video above scroll and see if your mic is marked ✔️
If that does not get it to work there is more you can check:
(Utilities/Audio, midi setup)
For any other audio device you do this for input and output.
If you get stock post back

Its good that u pasted the complete log file. In your environment you have to run this upgrade tool only once from any of the middle tier.
And with respect to your error that u got in precheck is quite simple. All u have to do is just run this script from by connecting to portal schema using sqlplus.
Run dropupg.sql
Location-------- /raid/product/OraHome_1/upgrade/temp/portal/prechktmp/dropupg.sql
Later you re-run the upgrade tool and let me know the status.

Requirement is the price will be maintained in info record by user.
The price field will be in grey for the user in purchase order. The price will flow from info record only.
The price should flow to the purchase order only if info record is approved.
