  • I can't install Flash Builder from the Web Premium suite, what should I do?

I just downloaded the Adobe Creative suite 5.5 Web Premium and am about to install the program but notice a note next to the Adobe Flash Builder program... it explains that my system doesn't have the requirements needed for this program. I checked and it explains further details stating that I need to have a • Mac OS X v10.5.6–10.6 and I doubled check which version I have and it's OS X 10.5.8. Doesn't this actually mean that it does meet the requirements?
Please advise as to what can be done to be able to download this specific program.
    Thanks,

We do still need more information such as how much memory you have,
resolution of your monitor, how much disk space you have free, which
processor are you using.  I good guide is to look at the system
requirements and try to post for each of the items within the
requirements.  The system requirements for Web Premium can be found
    at http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/web/tech-
    specs.edu.html.

Also you can find this information within your System Profiler.  The
easiest way to access the system profiler is to go to the Apple Menu
and select About this Mac.  Once selected clicking on the more info
button will launch the System Profiler.

  • Having trouble opening and installing Flash CS3

    Hey there,
I recently downloaded the Flash CS3 trial version for my mac,
and after downloading it seems that i can't complete installation,
because once its installed about 2 out of 3 parts it comes up with
an installer alert, saying the following
"Please insert Adobe Extendscript 2 now and click ok"
So i went through the folder i downloaded and found it but
after i opened it and tried to click "ok" it just doesn't work....
I really need this software to do uni work at home when i can't go
    in to complete an assignment.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks

    Hi Jeff,
    Thanks for your reply.
    Here’s what I downloaded from my account – PremiereElements_10LS_15_win64
I do get an error message when I double click to install:
“The file archive part of Adobe Premiere Elements 10 is missing.
You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe Premiere Elements 10.
    Please download all parts”.
When on the Adobe site there are many choices which is confusing.
Please direct me to the correct one….
    I’m running Windows 8.1
    Thank you George

  • "Component install failed" with installed Flash CS3

Did a clean install of CS3 without Flash, but find that I need to use it now.
Any attempt to install now just leaves me with a "Component install failed" after 20+ mins install. Extremely frustrating.
I see this in the Console.app:
[0x0-0x148148].com.adobe.Installers.Setup hdiutil: attach failed - codec overrun
    Thoughts?

    OS 10.5.6
Uninstalled from the original installer disc.
    Cleanscript = yes
    DiskWarrior = no
    Original media install.
Did the procedure again, same thing. Even manually deleted the Flash browser plug-in, thinking that might be something to do with it.
Same Console error: [0x0-0x580580].com.adobe.Installers.Setup hdiutil: attach failed - codec overrun

  • Cannot Install Flash CS3

I installed a trial version of Flash CS3. About two month

Not much you can do. Except manually clear system files and
    any registry entry made
by flash. The program has TRIAL period which counts from the
    day 1 of your installation.
Even if you install and don't use it, the counter is running.
Removal and re install won't do much as there are registry
    entry made to prevent people
from reinstalling and running the trial endlessly w/o
    purchase.
You must do total clean up, or buy the license.
If you bought license and still face the problem, contact
    adobe support, they will sort
    you out.

  • Can't install Flash CS3!

    Hey!
I've got a MacBook (about a year old), and when i'm trying to
install adobe flash cs3 i get 2 errors, the installation completes
but "Adobe Flash CS3 and Adobe Asset Services CS3" failed to
    install..
I've tried with the free trial and the full version (design
    premium cs3.
    What to do??

I fixed it myself with the CS3 clean script. I seems the
ruins of Photoshop CS3 beta were all over the place (even though
that never worked and i uninstalled it with the uninstaller). Whats
with the nick name? There has to be some reason why these apps get
twice as large every time they update, and installation gets ever
more painful. Loving the Flash though, native at last.

When I launch setup.exe on Windows Vista Home Premium as

    Hey man I found it.
    Go to :\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers and

  • Can't Install Flash CS3 Trial

    Hi everyone -
I'm new to Flash - in my quest to find a tool where I can
develop rich internet application, or rich applications for that
matter I decided to download the trial version of Flash CS3.
But I can't seem to be able to install it no matter what I
    do.
I downloaded the trial version (Windows - 403.71 MB). I
extracted the file 'ADBEFLPRCS3_WWE.exe' and ran the setup.exe, the
installation screen saying 'loading setup' opens for a second and
then disappears - I don't have any application running when when I
start the installation - and the only Adobe software I have in my
    machine is adobe writer/ reader.
OS: Windows Professional with plenty of space and memory.
Has anyone experienced the same issue and can help me.....I
want to evaluate the software and then make a decision for
    purchase.
    Please Help
    Thanks

    Thanks for the suggestion...
But I never had to reinstall the OS in order to install an
application, that seems a little bit extreme.
    Thanks,
