Installing flash on Mac os 10.9.5 and it keeps freezing 30-40% completed
hello,
trying to install flash on my mac operating ox 10.9.5
I tried a "clean" install to no avail
I have tried 7 or 8 times and every time it downloads to 30-40% then just sits there. all other downloads and installations are working just fine.
any suggestions?

Finally, sometimes video and audio problems are caused at a lower level and not directly related to Flash Player. I recommend trying both of the links below to see how they perform. If the problem exists with both, then Flash Player is most likely not the culprit as the HTML5 video link does not use Flash Player when playing. You can verify the use of HTML5 by right clicking the HTML5 video and looking for the words "About HTML5" at the bottom of the context menu.

it has been a while since we have last spoke, I would like to let you know, I am still working on getting used to the switch from windows to a Mac/Apple system. I do have a new question for you, I did purchase In Design CS5.5 through journeyed.com through Cuyahoga Community College of which I attend as a student, is there a way to purchase an online book through iTunes to learn that as well? Also, you know me, the struggling student, I would also, when and if the book can be purchased through the iTunes, would need to know if you do know of a much easier book for struggling students like myself and at a reasonable price as well for the In Design CS5.5 program. Our campus bookstore had closed early, and, so did the colleges library and our local library here where I do live, so, I cannot go to either place to purchase a book or to take out a book, plus cash funds are low at this moment as well but, I do have money left on the iTunes account to use, if it can be used. So, can it be used, the iTunes money, towards finding a low priced online book? I am in great need of assistance as I have a project due for my one course for this Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

Im trying to install Photoshop Elements premier 12 on my new Mac with the latest update and i keep getting the same failed to initialise message. I was able to register the key code at first but now im not able to either open the program or reinstall it.
What is "Photoshop Elements Premier 12"? Do you mean Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements? Were your files copied over from a previous mac that had PSE installed on it?

I purchased Adobe Acrobat (latest version) and installed on my mac.
It worked momentarily and then disappeared from my machine. The mac software is OS X 10.8.2
I have tried to redownload but the Adobe site says the program is installed.
Any help please?

I have mac osx 10.6.8 and I keep getting update notices that do nothing, just search for update server. Happens every day. What can you or I do to fix this? Other people I work with and use macs have the same issue.
If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded

I have Windows 8.1 installed on my Macbook Pro Retina (Late 2013) and it keeps on crashing with a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR BSOD error. Is this an issue with the bootcamp driver not compatible with Windows 8.1? or is there something I can do to fix this.
I also keep getting WHEA-Logger Event-ID 19 warning events in the Windows Event Logs with the following details.

and when the drivers with official support was released the issue went away -

I am using a Mac with OS X 6.8 it has 2 gig of ram and it keeps freezing. Tlhe mouse will move but the machine is frozen, if i shut down and restart the machine is fine for a while. any suggestions as to what to check or what could be causing this?

Trying to install flash player Mac OS 10.5.8
when I try to install the installation starts then it just stops the first time it got to about 42% then said installation failed subsequent tries it only gets to about 9% at most then says installation failed I clicked on get support and followed the instructions still not working. I have Safari as my web browser version 5.0.6 Flash player is not currently installed on the computer HELP PLEASE!
Flash Player 10.3.183.43 is the latest version supported on Mac 10.5.

Unable to Install Flash on Mac OS X Mountain Lion
I have attempted several times to install Flash Player (11.7.700.225) on Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4), and every time I attempt to install it hangs on 20% during installation. I have ensured that there is no flash player installed on the Mac currently, and I have also deleted the original Flash download and re-downloaded a couple of times. I also attempted the troubleshooting solution (#7) found here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-mac.html#main-pa rs_header_0. However, this leads me nowhere because as you can see, my resources folder doesn't contain a .pkg file, nor do any of the other folders in the Contents folder (at least from what I can see). Do you have any other solutions for this problem? Cheers.

Each time I try to install flash on my Mac OS X
(10.4.7-10.4.10) I get the following error:

After you click OK, I get the following:
You do not have enough access privileges for this
installation.
I have done the following with no success.
Verified the user is an admin.
Uninstalled current version of Flash/repaired permissions on
the driver/reinstall new version.
Created new Admin account and attempted to load.
Tried installing while logged in under the first admin
created on the box.
Scoured the web for suggestions.
Viewed Adobe’s technical support site.
I am not fluent with Linux, but have seen some stuff on the
web to try but I am little leary of going there.

Trying to watch videos from Youtube on my new mac running 10.9. Prompted to install Flash player. I follow the recommended download instructions and it constantly gets stuck at 50% and then says I need to close Safari. Closing a Safari does nothing and the application still does not install.
