Installing hundreds of presets causes glitch in ACR

Is there a maximum amount of Presets that ACR will load? All of my presets are in the correct folders / file path but after a certain amount of presets, my presets panel goes blank. There seems to be a glitch past a certain point.
Attached is two screenshots for reference. You will see at a specific point the presets panel blanks out, however, there is obviously still content as the scroll bar still has room to scroll down.
Will this bug be addressed? Any insight on a maximum amount of presets ACR can handle would be great.

The solution to this is to delete and re-install less presets, however, I need a solution for our users who actually need ALL presets for editing. Many thanks!

I'm still a little confused. Are you using Photoshop CC, or Photoshop CS6? If you go to Photoshop > About Photoshop, the exact version of Photoshop will display.

I am attempting to install the Camera Raw Presets.
It says to put them into User Name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings...
When I get to CameraRaw the ONLY folders in there are CameraProfiles & Lens Profiles.
I have searched everywhere looking for a CameraRaw-Settings folder and cannot find one.
I have latest version of CameraRaw installed and still no settings folder.
I even attempted to find it by looking in camera raw where it has saved the custom settings I made as presets and it shows that they are saved but will not show me where.
I am using CS5 specifically Photoshop v12.0.4 and Bridge. I have Lightroom 4. I have iMac OS 10.7.3
Do I need to reinstall Camera Raw and how do you do that?
Will I then lose my presets that I made in CameraRaw?

I just install the OATS 12.4.0.2.129, no problem at all, but when I try to start recording an EBS Functional test, I'm getting this message:

How do I install Title Designer Presets in Premier Pro CC?

I follwed the precedure on the link to install Title Designer presets in Premier Pro CC. When I re-launched Premier Pro the presets had not been install. Also, the link took me to instructs for CS6 and CS5 versions. No CC version.

The fuctional content for CC is the same as for CS6.

Installing Adobe Photoshop Elements Causes My Computer to Cut Out on Booting UP!

I have installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 on my new computer running windows 7 64 bit. I did not appreciate the problems. The first time that I installed it the computer shut down as soon as it was loaded and from then onwards it shut down within seconds of the computer booting up into windows. I used system restore to take the computer back to before Elements 10 was installed. The computer kept on switching off after windows had booted up. Took it into the technician who thought the PSU was at fault and he put in a new unit. The computer then worked fine until I installed Elements 10 and again the computer switches off as soon as windows as booted up. I have again used system restore to take the computer back to before Elements 10 was installed, still it switches off shortly after booting into windows. What can I do to get things to work properly? I have a brand new computer that I am unable to use as a result of installing Elements 10. I am typing this on my old computer running Vista 34 bit with Elements 10 installed and all working well. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I have had a similar experience - Elements organizer crashed and even when not running, my computer froze after a few minutes. My PC had never crashed before this installation.
I found a solution though...
After a little sleuthing using task manager, I found that all the memory in my system (4GB) gets suddenly hogged (within seconds) by the "Elements Organizer" process (3GB) ... I found the service correspponding to this process, "Adobe Active File Monitor v10", stopped it and set autostart to manual. My PC no longer crashes.
I think Adobe needs to look into this one - it has all the hallmarks of a nasty memory leak.
A couple of possible clues as to why certain systems don't take well to this service:
- I have a few very large video clips (2hours+) on my PC
- I installed trial products like light room, CS5 before settling on Photoshop+Premiere Elements - could leftovers after uninstalling cause conflicts?
- I have other video editors on my system that I don't use, like Corel VideoStudio and Sony Vegas.
Thoughts?

I got the NAPP Goodies DVD and I am attempting to install the Camera Raw Presets. It says to put them into Library-Application Support-Adobe-CameraRaw-Settings... The correct location (on Mac–since you don't bother to spec your OS) is:
User Name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings
All user level stuff will always be in the User folder. Root level stuff goes in the root level/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw folder.

Applying presets causes filter settings to get corrupted if process version updated

I have an ongoing problem with Lightroom 5.7 including earlier versions. The problem occurs when editing photos which use previous process versions (ie, 2010). My presets all have the Current Process version checked (as they should). Whenever I apply any preset to a photo, the settings for existing filters get corrupted (reset to 0). This includes my Graduated Filter settings, Adjustment Brush settings and Radial Filter settings. Those filters and their masks remain on the photo but their parameters have all been set to zero. I keep falling into this trap since it's natural to use my presets when making updates to photos. Often I don't realize this occurred until it's too late.
As a work-around (inconvenient) I can first manually update to the current process by right-clicking the photo and saying Settings/Update to Current Process (2012). Or by clicking the Lightening Bolt button in the upper right corner. But this must be done prior to applying any presets and I typically for get as my database has tens of thousands of pics. Even a preset with just the Process Version set will cause the filter settings to be corrupted. I'm not interested in applying a batch or Quick Develop process to all at once since I need to inspect each one as the process is updated. It would be great if this could be fixed in a maintenance release since it keeps biting me. I think it's important that this be fixed in LR 6.0 also. No doubt it's messed up many user's photos without them realizing it. Does anyone know a work-around so Presets can be used?
System: Win7 pro 64 (current), 4.2 GHz i7, 12GB, Lightroom 5.7.

In my opinion: not a good idea to convert old photos en-batch.
Recommend: convert (hand-selected photos) one at a time, or just use PV2012 on new photos.
There are more than one reason:
* As you know, process conversion yields very different results (if photo has been substantially edited).
* It takes some time to polish your PV2012 editing skills.
* Often when you are comparing PV2012 results to previous PV2010 results (which you've become familiar with, and like...), you may interpret differences in a more negative light, than if you were using PV2012 without comparing to a previous PV2010 version.
This last one can not be over-stated. Numerous times I have converted and been disappointed, at least initially. Recovered highlights can seem like loss of contrast. Detail in shadows can be distracting after initial conversion, until you step back for a while, then re-look at it...
Also, the process version itself (results I mean) takes some getting used to (even when not comparing to a previous legacy-pv edit). e.g. if you've become attached to the over-saturated shadows in previous process version, the shadows seem under-saturated in PV2012, etc...

Sony XAVC files from F55 no longer play back at all and cause glitches since update today - 13th Dec

Since updating Premiere today any Sony XAVC files I have in my projects no longer play back and cause fairly big glitches. All was completely fine yesterday before I updated. Does anyone have any info on this? Hoping for a fairly quick patch as it's rendered a time sensitive project I'm on unworkable.

Installing iTunes on VMWare caused iTunes on Mac to forget where songs are.

I have (had) a pristine iTunes library on my Mac. Two days ago downloaded and installed iTunes for Windows (64) on my VMWare partition. For some reason this caused about 1/2 of the songs in iTunes on the Mac to forget where they are (i.e. the exclamation point problem). The original files have not been moved, and if I do the locate option I can find them - but I don't want to do this on at a time.
How can I get my iTunes library back in order?

I also have this problem, but on my 64-bit Windows 7 desktop. My income level no longer permits me to purchase Apple computers. Anything that I've bought off of the iTunes store, most of it's ten to six years old, will not play any further than 2:34. I just knew when I agreed to this "protected music" business I'd find myself a decade down the line staring at an expensive but unplayable music collection.

Installing Transparency Flattener Preset for Indesign Server CS4

I'm trying to figure out how to install a transparency flattener preset for InDesign Server CS4.
I can see how they are installed for the InDesign app. Edit -> Transparency Flattener Presets...
But I'm not sure which directory to install these on for the server.
I've seen a post that mentions:
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\Version 6.0\en_US\Transparency Flattener Presets
/Users/<UserName>/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/Version 6.0/en_US/Transparency Flattener Presets
for the Desktop version. But when I place files here even for the CS4 Desktop, they don't seem to show up in the UI.
Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks, to get this working in a server script, I ended up just programmatically creating the flattener preset, rather than worrying about the .flst files. (Java code below)

CUDA causing glitches/crashes in CC 2014 on Yosemite

Hello,
When CUDA on my Quadro 4000 card is enabled in Premiere, I get OS-wide video glitches, and frequent Premiere crashes. I also have had a few instances of the computer freezing.
If I disable it to Open CL, the problem goes away.
The problem first arose after upgrading my OS to Yosemite. After Effects, or any other apps, do not produce the same problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Installing Premiere Pro CC causes a restart

I wanted to download the Trial Version of Adobe Premiere Pro CC a few days ago. Every time it loads, the Computer does a restart after a while so I´m not able to install the program. Sometimes the Adobe CC Desktop doesn`t work well either. Why can`t I choose in which folder the CC installs itself? A reinstall didn`t work.
I own a Windows 8.1 64-bit pc.

Nobody can tell you anything without exact system info and the event logs. If it "restarts after a while" (of using Premiere pro) then your system is overheating or suffering a memory corruption, which could have all sorts of causes, none of which actually have anything to do with Adobe.

How do I install FCP6 LiveType presets in FCP7

OK, I upgraded OS X to 10.5.8. I installed FCP 7 and dumped FCP 6. Now a nice little project I am working on for a client doesn't see the clever LiveType preset on one of the title pages. The letters jumped around beautifully for me. I don't think I have enough time to get up to speed on Motion to recreate the look. Can I reinstall just the presets and if so... how?

After you start the installer, click through the first few screens. You will se a list of applications to be installed. De-select everything except LiveType.
