It means what it says - your computer is too old. Since you have not provided any exact system info we have no way of verifying anything and can't tell you anything beyond that.

Trying to install Illustrator trial version

I have been attempting to install the trial version of Illustrator CS4 for a couple of hours. It is telling me that it cannot install until I close all open programs, namely Adobe Bridge. Adobe Bridge is not open and I even restarted my computer to make sure of this. However, it is still saying that installation cannot continue until Adobe Bridge is closed. Has anybody had this problem? What do I do?

You may try to use the CS4 CleanScript, http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs4clean.html.
You may try to run the installation in safe mode, if applicable.
If you still get the error, you may consider taking a turn with the CS3 installation, if any; it has its own CS3 CleanScript., http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html.

Illustrator Trial Version Installation Problem

I am installing Illustrator trial version, it stopped at 34% when installing AdobeHelp, the remaining minute keep increasing from 8 minutes to 132 minutes, I have stopped and restart my computer and re-install yet same problem occur again. should I stop or continue?

I have manage to download CS5 Illustrator instead, and I need to manually
select those files to be installed, that including AdobeHelp, Adobe
Download Assistant, Adobe Air, Adobe Media Player, then the entire
download is completed finally.
I am still keen to install CS6 to try when I have the time to do so, I
hope by then I can solve all problem.

On that computer... Does your Cloud subscription properly show on your account page?

Help installing Illustrator Trial: Exit Code 7

I'm having problems installing the trial version of Illustrator and constantly get exit code 7, Any help on resolving this would be appreciated I'm using a Win 7 64bit machine.

I am desperately trying to download the illustrator trial version, but when i try to luanch the setup program, it says that I am not connected to internet, whereas I obviously am.
Can anyone help me to get my hands on that trial version?

Trouble installing illustrator trial

I have been trying for the past couple of hours to install my trial version of illustrator CS6 without success. After downloading the adobe support advisor i got the report error "system restart pending" in the trouble shoot section the solution offered is to a. restart. that didn't help. b. to edit the registry by deleting the Inprogress key. well I followed the link but when I got to the location of session manager I didn't find a key by that name. so I couldn't delete it. and I'm back to square one.
If anyone has a solution I would be very appreciative.
BTW I disabled my spy ware and firewall but that didn't help either.

There is some issues with the User Account name, never seen this before :-

as you can see there is lot of gibberish character which Adobe installer might not be able to understand or interpreting wrong.
Firstly, move the Illustrator Setup download in C:\ folder from "ai cs6\Adobe Illustrator CS6\Adobe Illustrator CS6"
and then create the new user account and install the software.

Is there a way in install a trial version of Project server on a Licensed edition server of sharepoint 2013? Is there anyway around this or do I need to make a new box all trial versions to test this out?

Yes, it is possible , however I wont recommend to do it. Since, once Project trial period expires you need to uninstall project server which can not be done without uninstalling SharePoint. Unless you are willing to rebuild the farm once your
testing is completed

I don't see that anything would stop you installing the trial, though it is not for that and the license might forbid it, not sure. But the trial lasts 30 days and cannot be extended or repeated. You are expected to buy software used in teaching, though there may be academic discounts.
