Hi, I have a lisence from my Uni for creative suite sc6 but everytime I try to dowload indesign it downloads the cc version! where can I download a trial version of CS6?

if you log into adobe cc, on the indesign download page, there's a combobox a little below the screen top that allows you to select cs6.

and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

I would have never figured that out myself. Thank you so much! On behalf on my dad a big thanks as well, because he is going to use Adobe InDesign CC (2014).
Here, a local, standard user account worked for me. However, the password of an Administrator account was required once.
Here, any username longer than 13 created that error code, for example I tried "AInDesignCC14" unsuccessfully. Usernames with 12 or less characters worked, for example "InDesignCC14" worked.
Just renaming an existing account did not work, because the personal folders did not change in name. Therefore, I was forced to create a new account.

I need to know how I can install InDesign CS6 with my newly purchased serial no. when I have deleted the trial version? In other words I do not have the trial version any longer so I need the actual download files/folder to link the serial number to. I have CC as well but that shouldn't make a difference - I need to run InDesign CS6 for third party plugins.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you have purchased CS6 Indesign Download from Adobe Online, then you can go ahead and login to your Adobe account and navigate to "My Adobe" > "My Orders" to locate the Order, its download and the serial number.
You can also download the same trial version again and just use the serial number to activate it to a full version. Below is the link for the trial versions for CS6 versions:

Stevel18 you can install the upgrade to Creative Suite 6 directly. During the installation process you will be asked to enter the serial number of the product which qualifies you to own the upgrade.

How to install InDesign CS6 from disk on a Windows 8.1 (64-bit) PC when installation fails after the first initialization of installation program, without error message?

I have a (legally purchased) disc with InDesign CS6 that I want to install on a PC with Windows 8.1 (64-bit). After I've double-clicked the Set-up.exe file on the disc, a box is displayed showing the progress of the initialization of the installation program. When the coloured bar in the box is full – indicating that this step is completed – the installation stops and nothing more happens. No error messages are displayed.
I can't find any useful instructions in the Adobe Help pages more than a note that there is support for also Windows 8.1 even though the system requirements printed on the disc box only lists Windows XP and Windows 7. I don't know how to make this work. Does anybody here have any suggestions? I'd be ever so grateful for any tips.

Install InDesign CS6 Mac

I´m trying to install the InDesign CS6 on my MacBookPro.
I already have a serial number and it was working with Photoshop and Illustrator.
Unfortunately I have no idea why it´s not working for InDesign. I really need it soon!
After I installed it, there is a pop up saying it went wrong.

Can I install InDesign CS6 and still keep my InDesign CS5 active?

I have addons in InDesign CS5 that is not compatible with CS6. Can I buy an SC6 subscription (Adobe Creative Cloud) and keep my Adobe InDesign CS5 with addons active (and activated)??

Honestly its hard to say , becuase it is not just the plugin but the complete suite in itself ,
First , Post your query on Indesign Forums , there you will find Indesign Expert who will let you will there be any conflict because of this on your CS6
Secondly, If I would have been at your place, I would have installed the CS6 trial first , used it and tested and if it would have worked , then I would have purchased it.

Newly installed InDesign CS6 Crashes while Launching

I have recently purchased and installed Adobe CS6 Design Standard.
While Photoshop and Illustrator launch and work perfectly fine, InDesign crashes while its launching everytime.
I have restarted my computer and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and the problem is persisting.

Installing Indesign CS6 trial version in wrong language

I downloaded a trial version of InDesign CS6 on two separate computers (with two different operating systems) and selected Dutch as the language. When the software is installed, it is in the wrong language, namely Danish. How can I fix this? I obviously don't speak Danish.
Some assistance would be much appreciated, I need to make assignments for a course I am taking at the moment.

Are the systems set to Dutch? Trials use the default system language. Beyond that I can't say much. Could be a bug/ glitch.
