Installing Inspiration 7.5

I have a question regarding installation of a software program.
I'd like to install Inspiration 7.5 onto my Mac OS X Tiger. However, whenever I input the disk it spits it right out. It's a brand new disk - never been used. And the box claims that it can be installed in Mac OS X - Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the assumption that OS X also meant any version of OS X
You can also install the software for Mac OS 9 - while looking through my Help Section I noticed that there's a way to intall Mac OS 9 software onto the Mac OS X Tiger but it mentioned something about Quicktime - which confused me.
Can anyone help me with this?

Most likely yes, but only up to & including the OSX release of that time. Doesn't explain the Disk kicking out though.
Do you have OS9 or "Classic" on your Mac?

I had the same problem: Forst uninstalled the old inspiration brower version from the PC as instructed and then clicks the new browser download, and encountered the error message. It was quite frustrating. It turned out that I was using the FireFox internet browser (causing the erroer message.) When I copied the installation and launched in the IE, it came through. Once down loaded the exe file, it can be installed with no problem.

Problems installing Inspiration Browser with PSE 10

I have PSE 9 and recently installed PSE 10 on my Windows Computer running Vista Home Premium 32 bit. When I try to access the Adobe photoshop Inspiration Browser from either the introductory window or the HELP drop down in the Organizer, I am told that the Inspiration Browser is not installed and would I like to install it. I download the file adobephotoshopdotcominspirationbrowser.air and when I click install, I get the following message in the Application Window. "Sorry an Error has occurred. The application could not be installed because an application with that name already exixts at the selected installation location. Try installing to a different location."
I have removed and reinstalled Adobe AIR and still get the same message. I have searched and cannot file the file that is supposed to be there.
I have downloaded the Inspiration Browser program to the desktop and can open it from there, but then get a message that the Inspiration Browser should be opened from Photoshop Elements or it won't work properly.That fact seems to be true.
I have experienced the same problem with PSE 9 and could never open the Inspiration Browser in that program either.
I would appreciate help if anyone can suggest a solution.

Are you resizing the photo before save for web?
What settings are you using in the save for web dialog for the jpeg quality?
If you compress the jpeg too much (low quality settings below 60), that can make your photos look bad.
And save for the web in pse 10 automatically strips any metadata in order to keep the file sizes smaller.
Also, the save for web in pse 10 has a bad habit of not remembering your last used settings, so it's good to verify that your actually set to jpeg instead of the default GIF setting.

Premier 10: How to install Inspiration Browser?

I took Premier and Photoshop Elements off my computer and installed version 10 of both from a CD combo kit.
When I launch Premier Elements, the Organizer loads. One choice is the "Launch Inspiration Browser" button. When I click on it a screen pops up saying Inspriation Browser is not installed and would I like to intall it. Clicking "Yes" sends me to download box in my internet browser at www.goodaps.com. Pushing the "Install Now" button and running the program yelds: "This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
It is also odd that when I launch Photoshop Elements, I can run Inspriration Browser. So, I know it is installed. For some reason the Premier path doesn't work.
Clues, hints or suggestions?

I went to control panel to uninstall Inspiration Browser. It did not appear in the list how to I get inspiration browser?

Inspiration browser gave many problems, that's why Adobe dropped it in PSE11.
I will recommend you to use tv.adobe.com, which has almost all the video tutorials you will find through inspiration browser.

Unable to install Inspiration Browser Update

I have windows 7 on an HP G72 laptop. I uninstalled the Inspiration Browser and Adobe Air prior to attempting the update (as INSTRUCTED!), but the installation of the new Inspiration Browser fails, over and over again. I have tried all the solutions I have found in the forums, to NO AVAIL. I'm looking for a solution to this problem. Please help.

I'm having a problem installing the inspiration browser

When I run Photoshop Elements 10 the screen shows that inspiration browser needs to be updated. I uninstalled the older veresion, clicked on install. Then I get a screen that says that Adobe Air is required to be installed "press yes to continue". When I press "yes" I get a screen titled Adobe Air Installer that says "A download error occured. Try to download again." I hit retry and get the same result.
I uninstalled Adobe Air. Made sure that inspiration browser was uninstalled also, rebooted and tried it again. Same result. Checked task manager and no Adobe products were running. Anyone have any suggestions?

Instead of getting onto Premier Elements I got into Photoshop elements.
2) clicked on "Help" tab.
3) Clicked on "Elements Inspiration Browser". This brought up a logon screen to Photoshop.com.
4) Entered id and password, clicked on sign in. Failed.
5) Opened a new tab.
6) Went to Photoshop.com and signed in there.
7) Went back to the Photoshop Elements screen.
8) Repeated steps 2 & 3 which brought me to the install screen.
9) Clicked install and everything worked including the install of Adobe Air.
I hope this helps others having a similar problem.

Install problem - inspiration browser

I'm getting an error in trying to install inspiration browser in PSE8 w/Win7. I uninstalled an previous versions of browser. AIR is installed. Do I need to uninstall AIR, too?

1. Un-install Adobe AIR via the control panel.
2. Download and install the latest version of Adobe AIR.
3. Log in-to photoshop.com on the web and then update Inspiration browser in the Organizer.

I have gone to the welcome screen in Adobe Permiere Elements and signed in with my Adobe ID and what do you know---------No tips and Tricks. Why can't anything in Adobe ever work?

I have installed Inspiration Browser and when I go and try to update and get the click the install button below to reinstall the Adobe Photoshop.com Inspiration browser in the adobe Air, nothing happens?

Scanner no longer recognized

Elements 10 Organizer no longer recognizes HP Photosmart Plus scanner after attempt to install Inspiration upgrade. Inspiration would not recognize it, so I removed it and returned to PSE 10. What can I do?

What is 'Inspiration' you are talking about? Please rename psa.prf and status.dat file located at: %AppData%\Adobe\Elements Organizer\11.0\Organizer.
Once done,navigate to 'PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe' located inside: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 11 Organize. Right click the 'PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe' and select 'Run as admin'.

Audigy 2 ZS random sound volume cha

I've had an Audigy 2 ZS for some time now, and I've just installed Inspire p5800 5. speakers. With the regular single-channel computer speakers, everything was fine. After installing the 5. speakers, the volume will randomly reduce. I can still hear the sound, but it's very quiet.
I've checked the wiring. I've followed the procedure to uninstall and reinstall everything. Nothing has changed.

Well, as no one responded, I take it this issue was something undocumented. I've found that the issue wasn't with wiring or my card, but with power. It seems the speakers lose power, and as a result, the sound fades. The sound can be brought back by flicking the volume control, but usually the sound will still fade. I'm not exactly sure how to fix this, though, as the sound still varies.
Unplugging the center speaker gave the whole system a boost. Does anyone know a solution to this? I'm going to check my surge protector and reorganize the plugs. If someone knows, please reply.
