Installing Itunes for osx 10.1.5

hello,
I've got osX 10.1.5. I've lost my Itunes and I try to install the version iTunes 4.0.1 from this link :

But it doesn't work. I've got I-tunes 2.0.4 on os9 but I want a better version to download on i-tunes music store.
If someone can help me to found a version between 2.0.4 and 4.0.1 it will be nice.

I would suggest you try iTunes 4.7.1, which is the most current version available for Mac OS X 10.1.5. If that still won't install, post back with details ("doesn't work" isn't much to gon on) and we'll see if we can help you sort it out.

This should get your itunes store connection working.
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

It sounds like you are getting an error stating that the iTunes installer cannot be run on your computer. I would try downloading the 64 bit version of iTunes from here:
iTunes 11.1.3 for Windows (64-bit)

If issues persist when trying to install it, I would try running through the steps in the article named:

Having trouble installing iTunes for a new sony Vaio with Windows 8. The download gets to 97% and no further. Can anyone help me with this as I have no clue how to fix this issue.

That version is quite old now, though its fine if you don't have a device that requires a newer version for syncing or want to use the latest features. Should you want to bring things up to date howver, and have problems updating, then for general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

I've been having the same issues for the past year and a half. I've spent 6-8months trying to figure it out. Went to various Itunes stores with pictures on my Iphone per each step so I could relay all information that I'd come across and the personnel were less than helpful, after conversations that would sometimes last an hour between myself, employees and managers they always came back to "simply uninstall then reinstall" when I told them for the thousanth time that I've done that multiple times and my errors are happening while trying to reinstall it they act stumped and say "well then I'm not sure, I'll give you a call if I figure it out" and disappear. I've been very disatisfied at the lack of support from Apple and if Android to piece together a reletively reliable phone I'd switch to them in a heartbeat. I'll follow this question incase someone can answer this, but I don't have much faith.
BTW, wifey has Windows 7 running on the laptop and my phone syncs just fine to that and no trouble with itunes, just mine (desktop).

It has the error range of 3000's which states

This may be because out-of-date or incorrectly configured security or firewall software is interfering, an old version of iTunes is installed, an entry in your hosts file redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see error 1004 above), or because of your Internet proxy settings. If you are using a proxy, try without using one or with a known-good network. If that does not resolve the issue, follow iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues. Error 3014 may indicate that you need to free up more disk space on the computer before trying to restore again. Thanks, but I've done that several times & it still says I need administraive privileges. I had itunes installed with no problems until I did the latest update. After that it just disappeared, so I tried reinstalling. Now I can't sync my phone. This is so frustrating!

In my case, netlimiter was conflicting with the bonjour service. Probably identifying it as a threat. Uninstalling netlimiter solved my installation problem but now I need an alternative to netlimiter

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

11.Once the updates are done, make sure you are booted into Windows and call Microsoft support and explain the issue (doing a clean installation with an upgrade disk.) The issue is very common and not specific to Mac users so they will pass you to Tech support and help you activate your copy of Windows.
Not always. I tried. Easier to reinstall Windows 7 over itself, activated fine. Or just do the legal thing and buy full copy. Mac Pro owners that want dual processor support need Pro or Ultimate (Enterprise also) rather than Home Premium.
I would NOT use Boot Camp 3.1, it causes problems for number of Mac Pro owners, though maybe not all so unclear what/why) but just stay with Boot Camp 3.0x from the Snow Leopard DVD (which can have trouble with AppleHFS)
