Installing iTunes Match on a PC

I have tried this twice... The installer matches about 60% of my music and stops with no message.... A problem with storage space? Any ideas?
Is there an iTunes match to share movies across devices like for music?

How does one switch the install laguage on a PC for CS applications?
You don't. The language for standalone installs is dictated by the serial number and there is no way to change it.

iTunes Match on the computer will not change the library content. The iTunes Match 3 step process must complete on the computer based library before being associated with any IOS devices.
It is always important to make a secure backup of your Song files prior to these activities.

Installed itunes match on second computer,problems

I have installed match on my computer, iphone and ipad. I went to my wife's computer, signed in with my account
and went to activate match on hers. I got a warning about not being able to download for ninety days (didn't understand)
but accepted. When all was done, I signed back into her account but there are none of the songs mixed with my cloud.
Did I do something wrong? I thought you could hook up 10 devices to your cloud. I thought I'd see my cloud content, any ideas??

When you delete a song from iTunes it should bring up a dialogue box checking that you want to delete it, with a checkbox included saying "also delete this song from iCloud". Just make sure that you don't check that box. The entry will then stay in iTunes with the download box next to it.
If you try to delete a song that isn't on the local computer it will check that you do actually want to delete it from the cloud. Don't do this unless you want rid of it from the Cloud.

Itunes stops working when accessing itunes match, Windows 8

I installed itunes match a few months ago and it worked well once, but now whenever i start iTunes, it tries to access iTunes match for about 2 minutes, than I get a window "iTunes has stopped working" and it shuts down. I tried reinstalling, but no go. Anyone?

ITunes Match on Mac but not Macbook Pro?

Hi,
I have paid and installed 'itunes match' on my main Mac which has my library, it has synced to my ipad, iphone 4, Apple TV and ipod touch but it isnt working to my macbook pro?! It says only one library can be used but I want my music (not all the other stuff) from my main Mac linked to my laptop, is this possible so that I dont have two librarys?
Also, is my entire music backed up somehow just in case something happens to my mac?

You're right it is strange. As it works on one system and not the other with the exact same camera and cable and the fact that you hear the shutter go off even on the system where the images don't show up would seem to indicate some difference in the configuration of Aperture on the MBP.
Do the images ever show up? If you go to the Photos icon and search you're complete library do they appear anywhere? There isn't a filter set on the project your importing into by any chance?
I would make a new empty library and try using that to see if it makes any difference. You could also move the com.apple.Aperture.plist file from your Library/Preferences folder to the desktop, restart Aperture and see if that makes any difference.

how do i delete music with grayed titles in my iPhone and iPad. the grayed titles happened when i installed iTunes Match.

I've done the reset iTunes Match routine turning it on or off in my devices. Everytime its On, it goes thru d scan, match and upload process. When it gets to tge upload stage, it takes sooooo long for just one song to upload, as if d remaining song (2k+) will take years. Anyway, the grayed titles still don't go away. These titles are not exactly missing. I can play those titles because they also appear in my devices as regular content - meaning, the grayed titles are duplicates but don't go away.
By the way, these grayed titles are viewable only in iTunes Match not on my devices (iPhone 4 and ipad2)

ITunes match freezes in step 2

Just installed iTunes Match, but the synching doesn't go any further than number 385 or so. Restarted the computer, restarted iTunes, restarted synching, but nothing helps

As this is a user help forum, you will see threads about problems that users are having. This only represents a small percentage of the number of users.
Personally iTunes match works for me. I have of course encountered problems mentioned here but all have been solved.

Itunes match, when it's half way through matching, can it be stopped

I've started to install itunes match on my Desktop this morning, at lunchtime, it was a quarter of the way through, if it hasn't finished by tonight, can I turn my PC off, and then it'll resume next time I turn on the PC, or does it have to finish first.

During the matching or uploading part you mean? If it's the uploading part then the answer is yes. That's what I did last year. It took me close to three weeks back then to get my whole catalog matched & uploaded and I couldn't leave the computer switched on so I shut it down during daytime and let it run when I was at home.
When you restart the process each time you see that fewer songs get uploaded than with the previous run.

Trying to set up ITunes match but cannot

My question is about installing ITunes Match. Please forgive me if this is the wrong forum.
I upgraded from Mac OS X Snow Leopard to Mac OS X Mountain Lion today, so I can use ITunes Match and ICloud. I then installed ICloud.
I bought a subscription to ITunes Match today but cannot install it or upload or download it or whatever you call it. It only does one of the three steps. It does step one which is gather info from my ITunes library. It stops then. It does not do step 2 which is matching my music with the ITunes store, and it does not do step 3 which is uploading artwork and remaining songs. At first I got an error message: it told me the problem was that I need to sign out of the ITunes store and then log back in. I did that, but it did not help. It still stops after step one, but I no longer get an error message. Please advise.

ok, so I have not backed up my icloud as i had so much stuff so now just set up as a new phone and all hunky dory

ITunes Match on 2nd Computer

I installed iTunes Match on my iMac at home (a stalling issue but can live with that I guess). This computer has all my music and this is from where I do all my syncing to my iPhone and iPad.
I then turned on iTunes Match on my 2nd older iMac which had no music in iTunes. I see how to download songs from the cloud. Question is, if I download a song or album, etc and then decide to delete it from this iMac, will it then show up again in my possible download list as it did before? When i attempted to do this in a test, i believe it said that i would be deleting it from everywhere.
This is important to me as it's a much smaller hard drive and I may want to update my available music selection frequently.
I hope this makes sense.

HT204406 Why are several hundred of my songs listed as "waiting" to upload in iTunes Match?

Installing iTunes Match on my Macbook Pro goes well through the first two steps, then indicates it will be uploading 333 songs. At that point it starts over again at step one, and this loop will go on as long as I let it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem is? Thanks!
