Installing libproxy and connecting to a wpa2 wireless problems

Hi everyone.
For a very long time i have used ubuntu based distros. And yesterday i installed ArchLinux.
My problem is when i tried to install gnome-shell. I come across with a problem about installing libproxy, the key signature (pgp) error. After many researches i tried to change SigLevel to Never at /etc/pacman.conf. Then it gave key signature (checksum) error.
I tried "pacman-key --refresh-keys", "pacman-key --populate archlinux", "pacman-key --init", "pacman -Syy", "pacman -Syu" none worked.
Then i found on the internet that some guy was telling that it might be because of the net provider. You know some providers bans the word "proxy". So i decided to give it a shot and tried to connect to a wireless that is wpa2. And another problem arised.
Although i installed "netctl", "dialog", "wpa_supplicant" cant connect to a wifi. I can see but it gives connection failure. Dont know what to do.

Ok i solved the libproxy problem by connecting to a router that is no banned the word proxy via cable. But the wifi problem still exist.
I dont know what to do but i checked lots of topics and tried both netctl wifi-menu method and iw method. Non worked.

Check the songs are really not in the Music section of the library by clicking the magnifying glass in the search box and unticking Search Entire Library if it is ticked, then typing in the name of the album. If the tracks still don't show try closing iTunes and deleting a hidden file called sentinel from inside your iTunes folder. This should make iTunes run an integrity check on the database when you start it again. Make sure the tracks are checked before you try syncing again.

Problem with connetction to wrt54g2 via wireless connection with WPA/WPA2 & wireless MAC filter

I have a problem with connection to wrt54g2 from my DELL D630 notebook via wireless connection. When I setup WPA/WPA2 in wireless security and wireless MAC filter I can't connect from notebook to WRT - in Windows I see that dynamic IP address from WRT is not assigned. When I switch off security mode to disable always OK, but I need a wireless security between DELL and WRT.
Connection via cable Ethernet port is OK.
Can You help me?

Download 1.71 MB the firmware for WRT54G2 v1 and reflash the router's firmware.After reflashing/upgrading the router's firmware,reset the router for 30 seconds and reconfigure the router from scratch.

Each morning I get a notice to download a Firefox security update. When I click install, I get a message saying Installing Firefox and Connecting to the update server. It never connects; the progress bar just spins all day.

Since shortly after installing Firefo 5 I get this message every time I start Firefox. A dialog box comes up that says Installing Firefox, followed by a spinning progress bar, followed by "connecting to the update server." It never progresses past this point and will stay this way indefinitely until I close the Window.
Also since installing Firefox 5, the program crashes at least once or twice a day and I have to quit and restart. Don't know if there's any relationship between the two issues.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

I am trying to put the music from my ipod touch onto my new computer but keep getting a message saying that my ipod is already synced with a library and cannot be synced with more than one. How do I access that library on my new computer and if I can't are their other ways for me to put the music on my ipod into my new computer?

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPod for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

The only thing you can buy legitimately is the computer and the basic discs that are necessary to operate it. All Apple apps over and above this cannot be legally sold on. The machine should have been completely wiped and the original OS re-installed, bringing the machine to its original factory condition. iPhoto and Garage band were part of OS 10.6.8. Snow Leopard.
You must not use the original owner's ID.

It is a brick! But I did somehow get into the iPhoto section and was able to find the Former owner that owned the iPad and was able to contact him VIA FaceTime. on my iMac. He was of little help because he was not the original owner, but he bought the iPad as I did from a huge supplier and i was able to contact that supplier who refused to give out any information about the previous owner. I had the iPad hooked up to my somehowiMac via the USB cable and went through the setup procedure to no avail. Then after pressing the Home button several times it somehow went to the iPhotos that were on the iPad? There were 2 pictures of the owners email address. I then copied them to my iMac and used iPhoto app to enlarge the photos. It worked.So there is a way,just takes time to somewhat hack into Find My iPad?Phone.
Personally, it is not Apple's responsibility to protect customers of their personal DATA. With such a high security application. Then of coarse it is a great idea. Then again it is the responsibility of the former owner to wipe and rest the iPad before reselling it. This being the case like those sold on eBay and elsewhere that are ID Locked should not be allowed to be sold. Personally the ID lock is much like a VIN number of a car. In most states one cannot sell a car without the VIN Numbers. Somewhat the same thing should be true of ID Locks

Airport Extreme and new PC Laptop w/Wireless Problem

I am running an Airport Extreme V5.7 with an original iMac G4 by Ethernet, a PowerBook G4 Laptop by Ethernet or Wireless, with a Linksys hub connected to a DSL line. I have been doing this for more than two years. Both Macs are running OS X 10.4.7.
I got a new Dell Inspiron - 640m laptop this week from my new company running Windows XP Pro. It has an Intel/PROset Wireless card in the machine. I can connect to the Airport by Ethernet, but the wireless card shows it is connected, but when I open Firefox or Internet Explorer, it cannot find the server. I can only find the ISP server for the internet by hooking up the laptop by Ethernet.
I have tried both the Intel application and the windows application for the wireless card. Both applications react the same way saying the card is connected and receiving a great signal from the Airport, but I can only get to the server by Ethernet. I did download Airport Firmware Update 5.7 for windows and there is no difference.
I have tried my wireless card at other places in the last few days, and it works fine (McDonalds with my ATT account and a coffee shop with free WiFi). It just will not link the Airport and card with my browser at home. My Airport is WEP protected and my password is correct.

Thanks for your suggestions. I was using Hex in WEP, but I have changed to WPA. Your reference document 'Accessing a Airport Network with Windows XP PC or laptop' has helped out alot. I found that when I view the info in my wireless window for connection, it has the wrong IP Address (192.168.1.206), not 10.0.1.6 as my local connection.
How does one change the IP Address in Windows XP. I tried repairing it and it did not change. I am not sure where to look and fix it. Thanks.

Can't re install CS4 and before it was a licence problem

I had a problem with my licence so i asked help to Adobe chat. A person told me to uninstall the Creative Suite 4. I did it and he gave me a direct download link on the web to re install the product.
(I don't have the CD's because they are in France and i'm living in Canada).
So now, i have no Adobe apps and when i'm trying to install the CS4, it's truly slow and it doesn't work. It's just saying "installation in preparation" that's all.

In Remote App on iTouch, select new library on iTouch, iTouch appears in devices in itunes, click on it, itunes asks for passcode given by iTouch, enter it, wait a few minutes while itunes says it is validating passcode, then nothing happens. Please help!

Before you start deleting applications. Hold down the Wake/Sleep button and power your iPod off. Power it back up and try syncing again. Some app problems can be cleared this way.
Seems to be an application issue. If you remember the last application you loaded, delete that first. You may have to delete most of them.

IPod Classic works and connects but does not synchronise

Hi! I have a 2007 160gb iPod Classic and I know at 8 years old you'd expect things to be falling apart, but I'm not ready for Bryan the iPod to die just yet and if I can fix him I'd very much like to
So the iPod has the standard age related issues of jumping a bit in songs and making loud whirring noises but I'm cool with that - it's characterful haha. The main issue at the moment is that the iPod won't synchronise on any software. I've tried to synchronise on several computers with both iTunes and Spotify and when I press the sync button this happens:
iTunes / Spotify does nothing
The iPod makes some noises and shows the 'Synchronising' screen for about 4 seconds
The iPod goes back to the 'connected' screen
iTunes sometimes freezes, or still does nothing
I've tried resetting the iPod, which was hard because iTunes kept freezing - but I did it! Made no difference.
The iPod is recognised by the computer/software and shows up in My Computer
It's fully charged
I'm using Windows 8 and the most recent iTunes

I am having a similar issue where I have recently updated my PC and managed to re install itunes and brought my library across however problem starts when I cannot transfer my latest music to my ipod classic.
Tried restoring it etc, it managed to transfer my latest music but delete my old ones and it wouldn't sync with my itunes library.

Home hub keeps disconnecting and connecting to BTW...

This only appears to be happeneing on my windows 7 desktop computer. None of my other deviices have a problem. However with the desktop every so often the connection will be dropped from BTHub3 and it will instead try to connect to BTWiFi. I have no idea why. Can anyone please help.
