Installing Lightoom and PS on a different Laptop
Hi,
I purchased Lightroom and Photoshop in May 2012. I have since misplaced the CD and I now need to install both applications on a different MAC laptop. Is it possible to download both applications again via the adobe website, without paying again? If so, how? Also, how many times can I do this on different laptops?

Before you install Phooshop again, be sure to deactivate it on the first machine. You'll find the deactivate option under the help menu. Lightroom has no deactivation.
What you will need is the serial numbers for each. If you registered the software with your Adobe ID you can log in to your account and find them there.
As for downloading again, Adobe no longer offers trial versions of the software, which would have worked, as all the focus is on current releases of CC apps. I suggest you try and find someone who has discs and install from them but using your own serial numbers of course.
As for how many times you can do this. As many as you like so long as each time you deactivate first.

As per the title, I subscribed to CC for photographers and downloaded the CC app and PC and LR. This install went fine. I now want to install the same apps on my laptop. I installed the CC app but no applications show in the CC dialog
to download. I have been unable to find relevant info on how to do this.Dgoerndt do you receive any error messages? If the behavior is similar to the error in App doesn’t open | Progress wheel spins continually then please utilize the steps within the document to resolve the error.

what are the advantages and dis advantages of instaling AS-ABAP and EP in different Systems

The answer is simple...when EP is installed in a Standalone Java engine and in a different box.... then EP and ECC do not share resources and this is good as make them more stable and redundant. I can't see any advantages in having the in separate systems in the same box.

Installing iTunes and QuickTime on an HP laptop running Windows 7.
I get error 2738 when:
installing todays downloads or when
uninstalling a preinstalled 2009 version of QuickTime.
I have seen and successfully applied the solution offerred at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1331.
Twice.
Restarted the computer and applied that solution again, and again with the message indicating success.
And each time get the error 2738 message.I also looked through the earlier messages and saw something about
a logon as a simple user.
Did this and then noticed the uninstaller in QuickTime folder.
Used this and QuickTime uninstalled without error (2738 or anything else).
Continued to be logged on as this simple user.
Ran the iTunes installer (answering yes to security questions).
Installed both iTunes and QuickTime without error. -
I installed firefox on a new Win 8 laptop, and my account can not sync with my Win 7 laptop.
I recently purchased a new Win 8 laptop. When I installed firefox and go to sync in option, it doesn't give me the old 4x3 box with code. When I entered my email, it couldn't find my account either.
I am not sure where is the problem, because my old Win 7 laptop and HTC One X are both synced, when I could use the 4x3 box. The Win 7 firefox and Win 8 firefox are both ver 29.0.1, but the sync tab in option looks different.
In summary, I have two problems
1) My old laptop has a sync account set up long ago, but not firefox is not recognizing my account by my email.
2) My new laptop doesn't give me the 4x3 sync code.
3) Just for safety, is there a way to export all of my firefox setting and bookmark from my win 7 laptop? This way I can have the files for backup, in case my sync account is corruptedd or something, and maybe I can import the files to the new laptop this way.

I bought the photoshop install online and I put it on my laptop. But now I have a new and better computer for photo and video but I can not figure out how to reinstall my photoshop on this new computer. When I bought it, they said I would be able to install it on 2 different computers. PS they are both PC computers.

I deactivated Acrobat 9 Pro from a Windows 8 laptop and installed it on a new Windows 8 laptop and got the error message "Invalid Serial Number." I am entitled to this installation, can someone help?
I see that the number in my Adobe Account is a MAC serial number – I purchased both the Mac and Windows versions of the program. I tried to enter the serial number of the Windows version into my account and it says it’s already registered. Can I take a hard drive from a different laptop and replace it in my MacBook pro 2007

yes you can....but any files/data on the other drive will be gone. also make sure that the drive you install is a SATA drive which is in your Macbook...
make sure you have your original install disk if you plan on doing a clean install. -

The easiest and most efficient way to copy your music is to follow the steps under the External drive section. Make sure that you have organized the iTunes library first before you copy it over. Then put the copied iTunes folder in the same Music folder on your computer.

I have installed Adobe Premiere Pro cc on my laptop, but I cant find a way to start the program. No Icon, and it is not showing up in the start meny. It is showing up in add/remove programs, but nt anywhere else.
If you are using a Mac, simply hit Command-Spacebar to bring up Spotlight Search. Begin typing the name of the application and when you see what you are looking for, press enter. You should get a hit by the second or third letter you type. Great way to launch apps on computers that you are not familiar with.
Windows 7 and 8 should have something similar. I think you simply press the Windows key and begin typing. Press enter when you see a match.
Both Mac and Windows search tools can be customized to search for applications, files, emails and so forth. For Windows, look for Taskbar and Start Menu Properties. For Mac, go to Preferences Spotlight. Turn off items you know you won't need to speed up searches.

I bought a new laptop and used Windows Easy Transfer cable and moved all files from one computer to another. I installed iTunes and found my iTunes music Library. However, when I plug in my iPod it says it is already synced with another iTunes Library.
I don't see anything in Help that shows when you already have transfered all the files over. Why would it want to erase and sync when I already have all the music folder copied over? I didn't have an issue when I had another technician copy from one laptop to another. Home sharing is also on but not being recognized.I suspect you only migrated the media folder instead of the complete working library. Either review the transfer process and copy over the entire iTunes folder from your old profile's music folder or see Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

Generally, when you install Lync 2013 in the computer with Office 2010, a Lync Meeting Add-in will be installed and enabled in Outlook 2010. Please follow these steps to check it:
1. In Outlook, click the File tab, click Options, and then click
Add-Ins.
2. Please take one of the following actions:
If the add-in is in the Inactive Application Add-ins list, follow these steps:
a. In the Manage drop-down list at the bottom of the dialog box, click
COM Add-ins, and then click Go.
b. Click to select the check box next to the add-in, and then click OK.
The New Online Meeting button should now be available in
Calendar View, and the Online Meeting button should be available when you create a new calendar item.
If the add-in is in the Disabled Application add-ins list, follow these steps:
a. In the Manage drop-down list at the bottom of the dialog box, click
Disabled Items, and then click Go.
b. Select the add-in, and then click Enable.
c. Restart Outlook, and then verify that the add-in is displayed in the
Add-ins dialog box.
The New Online Meeting button should now be available in
Calendar View, and the Online Meeting button should now be available when you create a new calendar item.
3. In Event Viewer, view the Application log to see whether an error was logged for Outlook, for Lync 2013, the Lync Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office 2013.

My laptop that currently has my itunes library on it is broken and so I can not access it. Is there a way of getting my whole music library put onto a different laptop?
You can have two separate libraries, just do not put them into the same location on the computer. You could also create a new user on the laptop, you, and then you would start out with a blank iTunes library, then just add yours to that. It would also prevent you and your girlfriend from mixing content up unless you share an Apple ID.
