Installing Lightroom 4 on a second laptop

I purchased Lightroom 4 a few years ago and would like to install it on a second computer for my own personal use. How can I do this? I believe that I downloaded the program from the adobe website, so I do not have a disc. Even if I did, I'm putting the program on a MacBook Air, so there is no disc drive anyways....

Installing Lightroom on my second computer

I want to install a copy of my newly purchased Lightroom 5 on my laptop which does not have an internet connection. I tried copying the download that worked on my main computer to a flash drive and then tried installing it on to the laptop. It seemed to install but it does not run. I do have a valid ID for the package. Help?

unless that's an update error, uninstall anything cs6 that's installed, clean (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and reinstall.
if you see the same 202 error during installation (not updating), attach a screenshot of your error message.

I've been using Lightroom on my PC for years (NOT the CC version). I want to install it on my laptop so i can use it while travelling. I believe that the license allows for that. But how do i install it? When i try to do it from the website it takes me to a trial for CC.

This is the trial version. But on the initial screen that displays when you start Lightroom after it is installed there is provision to indicate that you have a serial number. Choose that option and enter your serial number that you already have.

Installed Lightroom CC on my laptop and created a new collection to sync on CC. When I opened LR Mobile, it synced with my LR desktop and my previous collections on my phone disappeared

First, I'd like to understand why that happened. The missing collection was only on my iPhone and I thought it would just kind of stay there no matter what catalog I was using on my LR Desktop. Then I'd like to know if I can restore that old collection. Thanks in advance!

Have you been connected with a different catalog as you used to have synced to the Lr Mobile app.
You can only have one catalog connected to your account and when you switch to a different catalog normally Lr Desktop asks you if you want to sync against this catalog. Can you remember your steps?

I have a question and I need some help
I bought the Adobe CS6 in October 2012 and downloaded it to one of my devices
and today I was trying to download it to another device of mine but it said the link had expired after 30 days (so november last year)!!
I thought I could download it to several devices and I didn't know the link was valid for only 30 days because it didn't mention this in the e-mail ..
I mean its not possible that I payed almost 1000$ and now I cant download it anymore when I've only downloaded it once!
Please any help ?

I subscribe to the Photographers' bundle consisting of Lightroom and Photoshop. I attempted to install Lightroom on a second computer (laptop) but none of the product keys I have worked. (I tried using the key in the Photoshop Lightroom Bundle as well as individual Photoshop and Lightroom licenses, though I think those are older versions.) I obtained the latest version of lightroom by downloading a trial version.

I want to install Elements 11 on a second Laptop.

The standard licence allows you to have two active copies of Photoshop Elements.
So you should be able to install it on a second laptop.

I Just upgraded my Lightroom 5.7 to version 6. All is well on my desktop. So I just purchased a laptop to travel with but am having trouble getting Lightroom to load on it?? I have tried to install Lightroom 5.7 on laptop only to try open and upgrade to 6 ...and it says catalog can't open because running on newer version. How am I going to get lightroom 6 installed. I do not use creative Cloud.

copy the lr 6 installation file (eg, using a usb stick) to your laptop.
when you start installation you'll be prompted for your lr 6 serial number:
if lr 5 is installed on your laptop, you're done except for following the prompts.
if lr 5 is not installed on your laptop, you will then be prompted for your lr 5 serial number. enter the correct number at the correct time and you're done except for following the prompts.

Moving lightroom to a new laptop

Yes. Uninstall Lightroom on your old machine and Install Lightroom on the new laptop.
Uninstalling won't delete your catalog files.
Then copy your catalog files (.lrcat, .lrdata) to your new laptop.
By default the files are located in a folder called Lightroom in your Pictures Folder.
