Installing Materials Movement 0IC_SD03

Hi, I am installling Materials Movement DataFlow for InfoCube 0IC_SD03. This does not come with an ODS in the DataFlow, but I guess since the DataSource has been updated it is now possible accoring to OSS Notes.
Is it a good idea to interject a DSO into the Standard DataFlow?
Would the DataFlow go into DSO and then into InfoCube or into each separately?
I am wondering if anyone else here has interjected a DSO into the Standard DataFlow?
What Keys did you uses for the DSO?
What Fields did you use? (What did you use as a template to determine which fields to use? InfoSource?)

Yes, It's a good idea to use a data staging layer in your dataflow.
I didn't find the infocube 0IC_SD03 in my business content. Are you trying to use 0IC_C03?

Dear Experts,
I am searching for a standard report (like MBLB) showing all the materials' movements related to a specific SUBVENDORS. the problem is that MBLB is showing - before the BATCHES the materials is distributed on - and double clicking on the batches the details of all the movements. I'd need a report showing directly all the movements (without showing the batches).
Is there anything by standard?

If the entire library is on the external drive then simply copy the iTunes folder into <User's Music> on the new computer, then install iTunes. If you've already installed iTunes you will want to remove the empty iTunes folder in <User's Music> first.

That appears to download an .exe file.
.exe files are Windows executable. You would need to buy and Install Windows on your Mac.

Re-Installing i-movie! Help!

Hello All,
I de-installed i-movie on the advice of somebody on the mac helpline. This was the wrong thing to do! Now I can't figure out how to re-install it selectively from my Mac OSX Leopard disc. I received the disc with my computer - it says on it "this software is part of a hardware bundle". I am nervous that if I just re-install the whole lot, I will lose some of my work & documents... is this right? I was sent this link http://www.info.apple.com/kbnum/n42995 by the apple support people, but it doesn't make any sense to me in terms of what happens when I insert the leopard disc...
Please help me!

p.s. if anyone knows a good way for my leopard operating system to access & use my old version of final cut pro 3.0.4, without the original start-up disc, that would be amazing too...

Yes - i thought that you could do this, too; but when I open the Leopard disc it gives me only two options: either to re-install what looks to me like the whole lot (a big x symbol pops up, and invites me to restart my computer, which I am loathe to do because I imagine this means just re-installing everything) or to install optional packages... which doesn't seem to include imovie!
Hmmm...
Any thoughts welcome; but as you say, if you haven't done it it might be hard to know...

Cannot install "iTunes Movie Trailers App" on new iPad

Hello all,
I just got the new iPad (3rd Gen.).
I am trying to install the iTunes Movie Trailer App (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/itunes-movie-trailers/id471966214?mt=8)
For some reason, after clicking the install icon, I get an error Pop-up screen that says "Action could not be completed".
I have installed plenty of other Apps with no issues at all.
Is this App only for U.S. users (I am from Canada)?
I suspect it is something like this because my son also cannot install this App on his iPod touch.
Any ideas?

I am actually seing it in Canada.
Nevertheless, it should be able to say "Not available in your region" before I even get the possibility to download.
Like for example, if I go on the MTV website, I cannot view their videos, they give a proper message.
For sure they would be able to do the same in a more user-friendly message.
Another good example, go see this App for the BBC, first thing they say: Exclusive to the UK.

Using 05 inspection type, all the materials moves to inspection lot

Dear SAP Gurus,
Using the 05-inspection type in material master for by product material, all the material goes to inspection lot.
how to control the inpection lot movement, i have set a plan that the inspection will be carried through a workcenter,but it moves all the materials to inspection lot.
Since all the materials are moving to inspection lot, i have changed my inpsection type to 02 (goods issue), but the problem is, i couldn't able to record the results for the created inspection lot.
Kindly guide me and correct my process flow,

My scenario is that, the user requires to have a inspection lot for their By-Product. during the production order, after manufacturing say 30000 material, for them the 30000 material should directly posted to the unrestricted usage and a sample maerial should go to inspection lot, where same will be inspected and transfered to unrestricted usage, through QA32.
Based on their requirement, i have set the inspection type -05 in material master and a workcenter specifically created for the quality testing, so that a sample quantity can be produced and flows to the inpection lot,
but it doesnt works,the produced materials are all going to inspection lot.
Kindly guide me on this,

Install of "Movies" on ITouch requires newer version of Ipod software

I'm trying to install "MOVIES" v2.3.4 on my ITOUCH version 3.1.3 (7E18). I get the error message when it tries to sync "App movies not installed on Ipod Itouch because it requires a newer version of Ipod software.
I thought version 3.1.3 is the newest version.

The newest version of the iOS for the iPod is iOS 4.2.1. You need iTunes 10.1 or later for the Check for iOS Update in iTunes find the update.
You profile says you have a 3G iPod which can be updated to iOS 4.2.1. However, are you sure you have a 3G (or 2G) iPod? The 1G iPods can only be updated to 3.1.3. To identify you iPod go to:

New Hard drive...but how do I re-install I-movie......Please Help !!!

My Apple hard drive for my G-4 crashed after only 2 years.
A new hard drive has been installed but I am missing all the software that came with the computer from new.
I dont have I-Movie on the new hard drive....
How do I re-install this....can I download it from the net free back on to my computer.....please help !!!!

Hello, Robert,
You should have CDs that came with your computer. One is a reinstall disk and one is a restore software disk. Insert the software restore disk, and you can reinstall just the iLife apps you want using the 'custom' install option to make your choices.

Thanks John for your help on the last question. I downloaded a movie or .mov file and tried dragging it into my screensaver library like I did the quartz file (which worked well) and I cannot find it in the screensavers. I did authenticate it. Help again please.

As far as I know, such files are not compatible with the screen savers as you will note if you navigate to a folder or event containing video clips but not photo images using the "System Preferences > Screen Saver" preview window.

Install SSD/ move iTunes/iPhoto to another drive

Hi, I'm new to the forum and multi-drive Macs and need some assistance. I'm trying to set up the computer to a stage where I have a few more options and hope to expand further at a later time. I recently bought an Intel SSD which I would like to use as the boot-drive and use the existing 320 GB drive as data storage (iPhoto/iTunes) I have found some info on CCC (carbon copy cloner) to transfer the OS to the new drive or could the included OS CD's be used to re- install the system? When moving iPhoto/iTunes are there now versions on both hard drives? What is the right way to transfer these applications? Any help would be appreciated.

I started using CCC from the day Mike posted it. But I, and Mike of AccelerateYourMac have both seen some problems with it.
May not hit everyone everytime, just a heads up.
SD is free if you don't do smart updates. And I mention using Apple Restore - but I think free is not free. It took time to create and maintain CCC. Nothing is free, really. And $29 is so darn lite, give us a break! But do buy extra backups.
Disk WArrior has often been seen as a $99 must, with $49 upgrade each OS. Is that too much to ask also?

How to move an OEM grid control install?

oem: 10.2.0.5
Redhat: 5
our oem server is going to be taken away and used for something else. we want to clone the oem install and move it. Reinstalling OEM on redhat 5 is difficult. It has to be done at the command line since 10.2.0.1 is not compatible with redhat 5 and we have to upgrade to 10.2.0.5.
if we move the database, and oem install to a new server, what needs to be done with the oem install to make this work? I can get the database started pretty easily. We would have to change IPs around. What files do we have to go into to change IPs?

I did read the installation and configuration guide. I don't see anything about how if I install a 10.2.0.1 OEM on linux 5(which is not compatible) and at the command line to make it work, then do a command line upgrade and configure it to 10.2.0.5, is this easy to clone to a new server.

Movement types for material movements in refurbishment process

Hi,
I require some clarification about the movement types to be used when posting material movements in the standard refurbishment process.
I am mentioning the standard refurbishment process below. Please correct me if I am wrong or if I missed anything.
1) Dismantle a defective spare part from the machine.
2) Take this defective spare to a storage location for unserviceable stock. (Materials movement-post GR)
3) Withdraw a new or repaired spare for the above material. (Materials movement-post GI)
4) Install the the above new or repaired spare to the machine.
5) Repair the defective spare.
Now I am confused and what I require to know is that for steps 2 and 3 what transaction to use for goods movement and what standard movement types are recommended for this GR and GI?

The standard Refurbishment process does not involve the initial move into the warehouse/stock. That is part of the standard maintenance processes.
The Refurbishment takes defective item from the warehouse (goods issue), repairs them, and returns the, back to stock (goods receipt). Usually these items are valuated stock.
