Installing MS52 with DS52 on Windows (Is this correct ?)

How to Install iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2 with Sun ONE Directory Server 5.2 on Windows
You want to install MS5.2 with DS5.2 like below.
1 : Sun One Directory Server 5.2
2 : ims_dssetup.pl from iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2 Patch 1
3 : iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2
4 : iPlanet Web Server 6.0
5 : iPlanet Delegated Administrator 1.2 Patch 1
You can run imspatch.pl (This is from iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2 Patch 1) whenever you want to do
if after you install iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2
Details
1 : Sun One Directory Server 5.2
Suffix: "dc=test, dc=net" on Directory Server Settings
2 : ims_dssetup.pl from iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2 Patch 1
type "dc=test,dc=net" for Users/Groups base suffix.
(Don`t choose default "o=test.net". Because there is no "o=test.net" in
"mapping tree" in "cn=config" in "Directry". You can check this with logging in as Log-in Name "cn=Directory Manager")
except this, DS`s directry(C:\Program Files\Sun\MPS) and Password, choose default all.
3 : iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2
"o=test.net, dc=test,dc=net" for Default Organization DN (This is default)
4 : iPlanet Web Server 6.0
I still don`t know what is difference between iPlanet Web Server 6.0 and iPlanet Web Server 6.0 Enterprise Edition. same ?
(I have not checked that we can use Sun ONE Application Server 7.0 or not.)
choose 8080 for HTTP Port.
5 : iPlanet Delegated Administrator 1.2 Patch 1
Directory Server domain component (DC) tree suffix. "o=internet".
Suffix to store it`s configuration data. "dc=test,dc=net"
Suffix to store it`s user data. "dc=test,dc=net"
it already exist, do you want to coninue without installing. Select YES
Port settings
DS (LDAP)     Random
DS Admin     Random
MS (POP)     110
MS (SMTP)     25
MS (WebMail)     80

After instaling Sun ONE Directory Server 5.2, you can see port number for DS Admin at file name "adm.conf" in config of admin-serv.

You need to decide your desired branch of the tree you want iMS to look at before running ims_dssetup.pl. If you change your mind, you can run it again.
Please become familiar with the Provisioning Guide and the Schema Guide as a way to understand how the Messaging Server uses the Directory Server.
