Installing Multiple Inbound Refineries to Offload Original Inbound Refinery

We have 2 million documents "stuck" in the inbound refinery. Recently, We have installed 3 additional inbound refineries. It seems we are one step closer to solving this issue. All new documents are round-robining into the 3 new refineries and we have also stopped the original ibr from accepting new jobs. That particular queue is the one who currently houses 2 million documents waiting to be converted. I understand clearly from your responses you did NOT re-check in all of those document, but did you have to go through any type of resubmission to the Inbound Refinery via the repository manager resubmission?
I am asking this question because the new ibrs are not seeming to pick the documents that are backlogged unless we do a resubmit through repository manager. Also Oracle Support reps are saying that is the only way; However, I interpreted your messages saying that that is not the case. If you didn’t have to resubmit through the repository manager what actions did you have to take?
I really appreciate your help and your time.

Thank you Aparna,
Does anyone know if it is possible to store the .pdf file in the same location as the actual native file? What we are trying to achieve is a way to check in the native file thru the desktop integration (using Word), then have the user see both the native file and the .pdf file so they can send out the .pdf easily without needing to know the url.
Thanks again,
Ken

  • Inbound refinery : Problem to have same administrator than content server

    Hi,
    I've installed the Inbound Refinery.
During the installation, I asked to have the Inbound Refinery as a proxied server in order to have the administrator of my Content Server as administrator of the Inbound Refinery.
Both applications are on the same physical server.
On the Content Server, an outgoing provider was created to link with the Inbound Refinery.
On the Inbound refinery, an outgoing provider was created to link with the Content Server.
If I click on the "Test" link of the provider, it seems to work.
But, if I try to connect to the Inbound Refinery with the "sysadmin" of my Content Server, it doesn't work.
I noticed also that the role "refineryadmin" was not created in the Content Server database.
I didn't know if it was important. So I created it manually but it does not work.
In the IP filter of the Inbound Refinery, I added the local host + the IP address of the server (do not know if it is necessary).
I followed the procedures to allow manually that the content server manages the refinery authentication, but it does not work.
Anybody has an idea of what could be the problem ?
    Any help is welcome
    Regards
    Pierre

    I agree with you.
    It is what I did.
The providers defined on the CS and IBR sides were created automatically.
It is why I don't understand why it does not work.
Concerning the Test, when I click on it, I can see "good" in the Connection state column.
But, I'm wondering if it is worth something. Because I put stupid values for the Server instance and the web root and it still indicates "good" (I restarted the CS after provider modification).
Is-it another way to test ?

  • Cannot access the Inbound Refinery Logs, authentication failed.

I installed the Inbound Refinery as a proxied server on the same computer of Content Server.
When I login Inbound Refinery using 'sysadmin' and try to access the "Logs-Refinery Logs", the authentication dialog appears.
I am sure that I input the right password for user sysadmin here, but the authentication dialog jumps out again and again until the authentication failed.
Who can tell me how to solve this problem? Your help will be very appreciated.

    Hi
Well that is not possible since the logs are native to IBR and to access them you need to provide the refadmin access itself. But the other IBR access are with sysadmin since it is added as a proxy server to existing CS instance.

  • How to handle multiple inbound interfaces with WSDL messages

    Hi All,
We have a synchronous: Abap Proxy -> XI -> WebService Scenario. The webservice has multiple SoapActions e.g. SearchForProduct_WithX, SearchForProduct_WithY each with different message types. We have tried to use the receiver determination to send the request to the correct soapaction using conditions e.g. if field X in the request is populated use SearchForProduct_WithX action/message.
But when we run it through the proxy we get this error:
      <CODE>IF_DETERMINATION.TOO_MANY_IIFS_CASE_BE</CODE>
<ERRORTEXT>Multiple inbound interfaces not supported for synchronous calls</ERRORTEXT>
Does anybody know how we can get around this or how best to deal with the multiple soap actions per wsdl situation.

    Hi Yaghya,
We have used conditions in the Interface Determination. Interestingly if we use an HTTP sender adapter we can use this configuration ... but once we try and use ABAP proxies we get the previous error.
Another related question ... when we use the http adapter we get a connection time out exception. Same thing happens if we try and use the wsdl tester at /wsnavigator but we can open the wsdl through the browser. Any idea on this one?
    Thanks for all your help.

  • Multiple inbound and outbound plugs

    Hi Experts,
Can anybody give an example scenario where we compulsorily need multiple inbound and outbound plugs for a view??

    Hi snakar rao  ,
Suppose we have three views, a , b, c. Suppose we have a requirement like we need a button move_to_b on a, a button back in b which will move back to a, a button move_to_c on b and a button move_to_initial screen on c.
    in this case
we need one out bound plug in a which will be connected to inbound of b
one out bound plug in b which will be connected to inbound of c.
in this case a needs two inbound plugs, one is for navigating from b and the other is for navigating from c
if there is a requirement like we need to navigate from a to c directly also, in this case c need one more inbound plug thats to connect the inbound plug from a.

  • Multiple inbound idoc

    Hi,
    My scenaroi is Proxy-Soap(Request)-Soap(Response)---IDOC(Multiple IDOC).
I am able to do this with one inbound idoc but i am unable to configure multiple inbound idoc with the scenario.
My proxy is sending data to soap to intialise request and get the response and send that resopnse data to idoc based on certain condition where i have three idoc at inbound side .
So in One response message i have to send data to three idoc at the same time.
    Please suggest.
    Regards
    V Santhosh

    r u using BPM?
    receive-->Traformation-->send->trasformation(SOAP RespIDoc's)>Send(depend on number of IDoc's).
Map SOAP response to Multiple IDoc;s using muti mapping or you can develop individual mappings.
but exeucte Traformation step(Operation Mapping)out side BPM,i mean call Operation mapping in Interface Determination.

  • Multiple Inbound delivery PGR

    Hi All,
I am using IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY for Post Goods Receipt of an inbound delivery. My requirement is I have to Finalize multiple Inbound deliveries at same time. I copied the E1EDL20 segment and pasted it at the same level 4 times. I am passing 4 Inbound deliveries in the idoc for PGR. But the last inbound delivery which is the bottom most segment of the idoc only gets PGRed.
The other inbound deliveries, the batchs are getting created. But the IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY has the standard code for performing the PGR, then it should do the PGR for multiple E1EDL20 segments. But it is not happening.
Do I need to do something additional when I am passing multiple Inbound deliveries for processing.
    Regards,
    Joseph M

    Hi...
First create inbound delivery and do GR against inbound delivery by using t code MB0A
Once GR is completed create TO with reference to Material document .
Config - For inbound delivery document type remove putaway relevancy .
Spro - Logistics execution - shipping - deliveries - define item category for deliveries
here for relevant item category remove putaway relavancy .
    Hope it helps

  • Which units support multiple inbound L2TP VPN connections?

Hello. I have a Mac OS X Server that I want to use as a L2TP VPN server for my remote Mac clients. Are there any Linksys routers that support multiple inbound L2TP connections? (The remote clients are 1 person per one location, so there won't be a problem with multiple outbound VPN clients where they are.)
    Thanks

  • Installation Inbound Refinery - Server runs not anymore

i have wanted to install some components like Digital Asset Manager to the Content Server and because of that, i installed Inbound Refinery.
The Installtion itself worked fine, but after the installtion the contentserver didn't start any more.
Is there a possibility to remove the Inbound Refinery?
I think my mistake was, to give Inbound Refinery the same path, as the stellent server or is that right?
    my stellent server is in:
    /oracle/stellent/server
and the same adress i used in the installation of Rebound Refinery.
The Vault and Weblayout directories had to be not the same as the Stellent Server. The are now /oracle/stellent/vaul_inbound and ../weblayout_inbound.
can anyone help me what is wrong?
The Serveroutput is (every time i try to start the server):
    idcadmin     07.10 06:21:12.200     IdcServerThread-1     requestRequiresRemoteServer() checking admin '', node name ''
    idcadmin     07.10 06:21:12.205     IdcServerThread-1     Executing command: [oracle/stellent/server/admin/bin/UnixProcCtrl, exec, /oracle/stellent/server//etc/idcserver_query]
thx so far hope anyone can help

yep, looks like your IR install stomped your UCM install when you gave the same directory structure.

  • Flash player has been installed multiple time without errors but bbc news website and even flash player help say it isn't. How do i get out of this loop? - using windows 7 ultimate and latest IE11

flash player has been installed multiple time without errors but bbc news website and even flash player help say it isn't. How do i get out of this loop? - using windows 7 ultimate and latest IE11

I have had the same problem for WEEKS and I cannot access any sites that use Flash. Flash has been installed on this computer since I bought it in 2012. I have allowed auto updates but for weeks the updates never get past Step 2 - is this because I do NOT want the Google Tool bar? I use NO tool bars as there is only 6 inches of vertical screen space. Is this because I uncheck wanting Chrome as a default browser?  It is already installed, I just don't use it.  I came to this site and ran the check is it installed and the system says it is either not installed or not enabled. Version 14 just downloaded about 30 minutes ago - but did not progress to Step 3 although a pop up screen came up with a finish button, which I clicked. WHAT is the problem and how do I fix it?  If this were just a compatibility bug between IE11 and Adobe they have had plenty of time to fix it.

  • How do I install multiple KMS keys on one server?

I currently am working at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, MO and my question is: How do I install multiple KMS keys onto one server? This is very urgent and I have the KMS activating Windows 7 but, I also need all my Office keys, Windows
8, and Windows 8.1  to be activated via KMS. the current KMS is a Windows Server 2008 R2 server. Please help me out and thank you for your time! :)

you need to apply the following update (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2885698)to your KMS server so you can license up to Windows 8.1.  From there your key for 8.1/2012R2 will license everything
downwards and then you can also install your Office KMS key without issue.  If its Office 2013 then you need to download the files here (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35584)
Be kind and Mark as Answer if I helped.

On WIndows I have the same printer installed multiple times
    All using the same driver
I have a Canon printer that has a rear tray and a bottom tray
So, I will have one printer that prints to the rear and the other to the bottom
Other printers (the same one) will be set so that they print in high quality and in duplex for example
    I'll name the printers 1.Canon 2.Canon 3.Canon etc
So, when I go to print, I just hit a number on the keyboard and the printer I want is selected
Can I do the same on my laptop?
    Thanks

Back Up - that's in case things go wrong.
    In the case you cite:
    You have
    Mother
    Mother Maiden Name
    as Faces, right?
In the Corkboard view click on Mother Maiden Name and delete the 'Maiden Name'.
It will disappear and all the photos will be in the Mother face.
Note that 'Mother' and 'Mother ' (that is, with a trailing space) are not the same.
You can  also just edit the name 'Mother Maiden Name' to 'Mother'
As for photos staying in manual sort, I can only say that mine do. But as I've no idea what troubleshooting steps you've used.

  • Installing Multiple Operating Systems with grub and Arch Linux

NOTE: Please keep in mind that there are many different ways to achieve this same result using various loop and ramdisk methods, read this with a separate window to jot down your comments and suggestions... this is ongoing for me so any help would be appreciated!
Read the full article at Install Multiple Os without cds
This is my first post and I plan on making this topic an official HOWTO with www.tldp.org.
I have been into the computer security scene since 1990, but I realized that I had very little experience with the various LInux, Unix, and alternative Operating systems out there.
I have a CD-RW drive but being a struggling computer security researcher I had no money for blank cd-recordables.  What follows is how I managed to install various operating systems on my computer (1 hard drive) without having to burn to a CD the ISO and then boot from that.
I first partitioned my 120GB harddrive into 10 partitions, the 2nd partition is a small swap and the last partition is extra large because it holds all the ISO images..
I then wrote a small shell script to automatically download (I love wget!)  the following.
    OpenBSD
    IpCOP
    Libranet
    Arch-Linux
    Fire
    Local Area Security
    Packet Master
    Devil-Linux
    FreeBSD
    Knoppix
    Helix
    Gentoo
    Yoper-Linux
    NetBSD
    RedHat
    Slackware
The script also downloaded Installation manuals and md5 checksums.. (let me know if I should post... its pretty unsophisticated
I installed Slackware (personal favorite) on hda1 using my last blank CD-R, note that I do not have a separate boot partitino.  (Should I?).  I also installed grub on the MBR.  I love grub, if you read through the man pages and all info you can find about grub, you can learn a whole lot.  Grub has much more features and capability than lilo, even though lilo comes installed by default with slack.
I organize my kernel situation as follows...  In my /boot directory, I mkdir KERNEL, CONFIG, MAP, INITRD and that is a good way for me to keep my kernels and everything organized..  Another good way is a separate dir for each new kernel.
Since Arch-Linux is a solid distro, I'll use that as a first example.
Here is the Arch-Linux section of my shell script
    goge Arch-Linux
    $w http://puzzle.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/archlinux/arch-0.6.iso
    $w http://unc.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/archlinux/arch-0.6.md5sum
    $w http://www.archlinux.org/docs/en/guide/install/arch-install-guide.html
    md55
    cat arch-0.6.md5sum
    md5sum arch-0.6.iso
    md55
The first thing to do is to mount the downloaded ISO image so we can use it as if it were an actual CD.
    mount -t iso9660 -o ro,loop=/dev/loop0 cdimage /mnt/cdrom
Where cdimage= the ISO image.   EX. /usr/local/src/ISO/Linux/Arch-Linux/arch-0.6.iso
This mounts the iso as /mnt/cdrom.
Next you need to copy /mnt/cdrom to a separate partition for the booting process.  So mkfs.ext2 /dev/hda9.  ( I prefer reiserfs or even XFS to ext but if you use something other than ext2 you could run into some problems because some of the installation kernels and initrds don't include support for reiserfs and so can't recognize the files.  Although you could use mkinitrd to create a new initrd with reiserfs support, that might be pushin it IMO...   I use the 9th partition consistently for this.  I know there is a "right" way to copy the /mnt/cdrom files so everything stays the way it is supposed too, using tar or cpio, but I'm lazy so I just do cp -rp.
(What is the tar or cpio commands to copy with correct permissions etc??)
So you mount the 9th partition as whatever, say /mnt/hd and then copy the files.  Now what?
Now edit your /boot/grub/menu.lst file to include the specific options to boot arch-linux installation.
A good idea is to find the isolinux.cfg file somewhere on the distro cd, this will tell you what to include in the menu.lst.
Here is the section in my menu.lst
    title Arch Install
    root (hd0,8)
    kernel /isolinux/vmlinuz load_ramdisk=1 prompt_ramdisk=0 root=/dev/rd/0
    initrd=/isolinux/initrd.img
This should be self-explanatory.  The root (hd0,8) is pointing to partition 9.  So the rest of the commands start from partition 9.
When you experience problems, remember you can always edit the grub boot options by typing 'e' and then edit the section.  Also, a good idea is to include several variations in your menu.lst so you can easily try other ways to boot efficiently.  And, remember to read up on all the installation guides that come with your distro, specifically, hard-disk installs.
There are special cases, Gentoo, has a semi-new compressed filesystem called squashfs.  BTW, this is AWESOME, so check it out.  It has to be compiled into the kernel, so some work is in order, but use this recompile to optimize your kernel.  You can get the squashfs patch for almost any kernel.  I use the latest stable 2.6 kernel.  Squashfs is incredible and although I don't think you need it to install from ISO, you do need it to expand the livecd.squashfs filesystem that comes with the cd.
Heres a sample Gentoo section from my menu.lst
    title Gentoo Install
    root (hd0,8)
    kernel /isolinux/gentoo root=/dev/ram0
    initrd=/isolinux/gentoo.igz init=/linuxrc acpi=off looptype=squashfs loop=/livecd.squashfs cdroot vga=791 splash=silent
A nother' tip is the shell that is provided if you experience problems, typically busybox or ash.  The key tools to get you going from here is mount and chroot.  Sometimes you will need to manually create a simulated file system and then chroot into it.  For instance, you might have to create boot, etc, bin, directories on the target partition.
I generally install each OS onto the next partition (careful of the logical partition) and add it to my menu.lst after install.  A good idea is after installation, copy the kernel and initrd(if there is one) to the slackware(or whatever) boot partition on hda1.  I copy kernels to /boot/KERNEL/ and initrd's to /boot/INITRD, then menu.lst is more organized...
You then need to add an updated section to your menu.lst (just comment out the install section for later)
Here is the finished arch-linux section from menu.lst
    title Arch Linux 6
    root (hd0,2)
    kernel /boot/vmlinuz26 ro root=/dev/hdc3
This doesn't use my convenient boot/KERNEL/vmlinuz26 as you can tell by setting the root to partition 3.
***NOTE: Make a backup of MBR using dd and save to floppy, also backup the partition table to floppy, using cfdisk or parted.  And boot disks (I use 1 with grub, and 1 with slack, and tomsbootdisk) will invariably come in handy.  Tomsbootdisk is recommended, and make the grub boot disk when you install grub.  install to floppy.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The final result after some fun experimenting, is when I boot, I have a cool grub boot screen come up with the option to boot into whatever OS I want, this is handy for multiple reasons.  One good thing to do after this is to port scan and vuln scan each OS, after you update of course.  Write this stuff down and you will know the weaknesses/strengths of the various OS's.
I can boot a custom Firewall, snort, or multiple honeypots using this procedure, as well as a graphical kde environment with a kernel optimized for graphics and my processor/architecture, or an environment devoted to forensics or even an environment suitable for programming.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
P.S. Some of the cooler alternative operating systems are BeOS 5, EOS, ER_OS, V2_OS, and my personal favorite Menuet.  Menuet is 100% assembly graphical operating system that fits on a floppy.  Its f'in money!
This should be a good enough example to get you started, this kind of thing should be learned and not just copied... Knowing how to do this stuff could prove to be exceptionally useful...
