Installing of Itune is completed but still Itune is not working

I have Dell XPS, OS Vista Ultimate, 32 Bit . I installed Itunes from apple support link and installation is complete without any error. But When I try to run Itunes, it do not open and give error. When I look out for problem details, its says., Problem event name, BEX. and when i check online solution, it say DEP has prevented it to work.
I have tried un-installing all the Apple files and delete temp file, restarting, deleting previously downloaded Itune.exe file and than again downloaded fresh .exe file and try installing all over again, but no luck.
Tried give exception to DEP, it do not all exception feature for Itune.
Tried MSconfig settings, enabling and disabling the service , etc.. but no luck. Without Itune, I am not able to transfer anything from my laptop to my Iphone and where the Iphone has become just phone for me.. can someone give me solution? Highly appreciated. Cheers!

I'm still testing the unit, and still it ain't working as expected. A bulk upload of files still doesn't work, if an error occurs during the transfer both the SW on the PC and the firmware on the unit are unable to resume, they just stalls and I need to kill the process on PC and format the unit. Things goes a little better using creative media manager instead of media explorer, the first seems a little bit stable than the second. But when an error occurs the procedure remains the same: formatting the unit. I'm following the suggestion of moving small amounts of files per time, but this is not how the unit is expected to work, nowhere in the box or in the manual it says to do so, instead it has a "filling" function which is meant to fill the whole amount of available space on the unit with audio tracks in one go. This problem occurred since the unit came back from assistance the first time, this problem occurs with the newer firmware, with the old I was able to seamlessly fullfill the unit. The problem, as far as I'm concerned, is related to the protocol itself (MTP) and precisely on how the driver interfaces with it: my assumption is that Creative is focusing on Vista owners, where MTP is fully and nati'vely implemented. I used two PCs for performing the tests, both with xp PRO sp2 installed. And, by the way, creatve assistance promised to send me some earphones they never sent. Guess why.... ciao marcello

I am having the same problem for one song. I've tried deauthorizing and then authorizing the computer but it doesn't work. I can play the song on my iPhone and iPad but not my computer. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

After I installed the latest update, MSVCR80 was not installed and itunes will not work

After I installed the latest updat to itunes, it did not install properly. I received the following messages:
Service "Apple Mobile Devise (Apple Mobile Devise) failed to start. verify that you have sufficent privileges to start system services Abort, Retry, Ignore
Itunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)
When I click on the itunes icon, I get the following message:
The computer can not start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your compyter. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I've revised my advice slightly...
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall go to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above then search the computer for copies of the file QTMovieWin.dll - you should only have one copy in the relevant folder for your system.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support (32-bit Windows)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support (62-bit Windows)
Delete any others and not only should this fix the problem, but prevent it from recuring on subsequent updates.

After renaming and moving to my desktop an iMovie project, i can not open it. I moved it back to iMovie but still it is not working. I noticed that there is not an Event Folder for the project. Can someone help me?

I renamed an iMovie project, then I moved it out of iMovie to my desktop. It did not work from there. Finally I managed to move it back to iMovie, but still does not work. I can't edit it, it does not even appear as an option. I found out that the Event Folder for this Project is gone. Is this the problem? Is there a way I can get it back? Can somenone help me?? Obviously after so many mistakes you can tell I am new on this. Any help will be appreciated it!!!!!

OK Let's take a step back.
If you imported video clips from a camcorder there would be an Events folder in the Movies/iMovie Events/ folder.
You have the option as you import from a camcorder to send your Event to an external drive instead. In this case, it would be in the iMovie Events folder at the top level of the external drive.
If your project has no video clips, but only photos, there may be no events folder, only links to iPhoto.
Similarly, if your camera imported your video clips to iPhoto, and you used the iPhoto event in iMovie, then your clips are in iPhoto, and there is no separate iMovie event.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, I updated to Mozilla Firefox 6. I went into the Toolbar, I think to private browsing, but not sure now. I asked that all cookies be blocked. A window came up from my home page that said "Allow, Allow this session only, Deny Cookies." I said Deny and it told me 19 cookies were being blocked. I have never been able to get the window to leave the browser home page. In fact, I can not make any choice in that window. The window kind of shakes. I am having a similar problem. Running Xp.
Latest revision of firefox.
After using firefox for a while if I exit, parent.lock is locked and i have to reboot to reload firefox.
I have killed all firefox applications from task manager (usually there are none). and I have tried 3 different "file unlock" programs including unlocker to no avail.
I also recently installed a program that shows -all- open files, and parent.lock is not listed, and thus not closable/unlockable from there.
