Installing of midlets onto Nokia 7210

I've tried to download some midlets from http://midlet.org/ & then install to my N7210 via IR. This however doesn't seems to work. However, when I make the same attempt using the Nokia PC Suite, it works.
Is there a specific protocol used by the Nokia PC Suite? Does this means that I'd have problems with OTA on Nokia's mobile phones? What about other mobile phones (brands), can I just attempt to transfer the JAR/JAD files via IR onto them?

You can not send games to teh S40 Nokia phones with the IR port this doesnt necessarily mean there will be problems doing an OTA downlaod.

Play wmv in nokia 7210 supernova

i've recently purchased nokia 7210 supernova mobile. but i'm unable to play any wmv files in my mobile though i'm able to play 3gp files. is there a way to play wmv files in my mobile? i found something like smartmovie but it works only on symbion os, which is not installed in my mobile!

I guess nokia 7210 cant support wmv files, so you could try to convert wmv to mp4/3gp with something called video file converter, it is already optimized for output setting for Nokia phone... easy-to-use.

Just to verify is it the first 7210 or the 7210 Suprnova?
If it's the standard 7210 ... no Blutooth Haedset is compatible, installing driver is not also an Options and is not possible at the same time.

I have a Nokia 7210 Supernova Headset.
I have installed Nokia Ovi Suite in my Computer also.
when i am trying it to my Computer it shows an error that USB Device Not Recognised.
I tried in almost 20 Computers than also it shows the same error.
Please help me as fast as you can.

To be able to work on my older laptop on location I wanted to install Lightroom 2 onto a MacBook Pro which runs 10.6.8
It stops at the end of the installment and tells me to contact Adobe for info.... that's nit very easy anyway.

If all else fails, try this. i used to do it all the time before. might or might not work with the new office.
if you have access to another computer with a cd/dvd rom, copy the entire contents of the cd on a thumb drive.
insert the thumb drive in your MB and do the install from there.
However, if you have the newer version of MS Office, Bandit's suggestion is much better.

I'm trying to install Windows 7 onto my MacBook Pro Mid-2010 (MacBookPro6,2) from a USB drive, since my Super Drive no longer will burn DVDs or CDs. I did the XCODE trick to allow me to make the bootable USB. But when it reboots after partitioning I get this, "No bootable device -- Insert boot disk and press any key" message. When I press a key after reinserting the USB it still won't boot after pressing a key. I unplugged anything connected to it and it still doesn't work. Is there any way I can get it to be recongized or do I just need to get an external disc drive and burn a disc that way?

If your computer came with an inetrnal optical drive, you must use that to install Windows.

I'm currently running on 10.5.8, and I just bought the Snow Leopard installation disc to update to 10.6.3.
My mac has been running on an external hard drive for about a year. The internal just stopped working.
I want to install Snow Leopard onto my external hard drive, but all of my files are on there, and I read that if I do the install, all of the data will be erased.
If I used time machine to back up the files before I do the install, are they at risk of being erased, since they will be back-uped on the external?
This is probably super obvious, but I want to be very careful with this.
Any help is very much appreciated!

1. The data won't be erased unless a problem occurs.
2. The Time Machine backup should be on a different drive, as drives can fail.

I am running snow Leoprd and what to keep this as my main OS on my internal HD due to work, I want to install Mountain Lion onto an external Hard Drive and boot and run from an external HD as opposed to my internal

Works just like installing on an internal drive. Just be sure to choose the correct target before clicking on the Install button.
If you have sufficient space on your internal hard drive you could also make a partition on it in which to install Mountain Lion. This will be faster and more convenient that an external drive.
