Installing on a new Archos 101 internet tablet

I just bought this new Archos 101 internet tablet. I would like to install firefox on it so that it will assist me in reading some of the pdf.files i receive.according to your site, my unit is supported. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

I have tried and tried. Found the Android market app and have tried to install many times. The popup. Window says I do not have any "Android phones" connected with my account. The only thing I have is the Android Tablet. I am begining to think buying the tablet was a mistake. Please help if you can. Thanks.

There is a market for frayo tablets using skype over the internet.

Thanks for your help Jeff. When I put serial# in, it won't except it.... I think it wants to see a previous version in my pc because my serial is for an upgrade, but when it put in a serial# for version cs5 it still wont except. Do you think i have to install cs5 first (which is also an upgrade).. which will require that I put in version cs4 etc,.etc., etc.
Do you know how I can get into an chat with Adobe.Thats what i had to do last time I installed CS6 in my desktop PC.

My HP Color LaserJet 3600n won't install on new laptop running internet explorer 11 windows 8

HP3600n was installed on old Gateway desktop and was accessed wirelessly from Dell laptop with Windows XP.
I purchased new Lenovo laptop with internet explorer 11, Windows 8.1.
I am unable to access HP3600n wirelessly for some reason. I tried to install software on new Lenovo laptop from original install disk but get error msg that it needs IE 5.0 or greater to install. I have IE 11, what is wrong?

Could you try clearing your data and cache from the Google Play Store to see if that solves the problem?
On my system I go to: Settings->Applications->Manage Applications->All->Google Play Store, then I click the Clear Data and Clear Cache buttons.

Same problem with Illustrator. I've made all the Screen Resolution and Print-Size settings and nothing remedies the small display. (My working page is fine; it's just the display that is REAL tiny!!) Is OS X 10.4 Tiger Full install CD Mac New X code the right thing for me?

Please Help - I have been having problems on some websites and with Safari - I can't afford to buy a new or even a 'new' used Mac with Intel - I have been thinking that upgrading to Tiger will solve my problems, I have committed to buy (on Ebay) but not yet paid for OS X 10.4 and am now worried that I am buying the wrong thing.

OK, that's good news as it is the latter type eMac, though not identical to the latest, it falls into the 'second half' of the eMac series.
The only difference I can see is that your model has a slightly slower graphics card but is the same model card. It seems only a subtle difference.
I believe there is a high probability that those disks would work.
Given they are considerably cheaper £27 or less it is probably worth risking. I'll guess 85% + chance of success.
The retail Tiger disks are just black, but they are quite rare, and overpriced.

You could change web browsers to Opera or Camino but Java versions end at 1.4 in Panther.
10.3 is pretty ancient in internet years, so an OS upgrade will at least keep you with a useful tool, even if not at the cutting edge.

Help installing flash player on a non-internet pc

Hi - thanks in advance for your help
I design websites on a computer that is not connected to the
internet - it means my files are safer and no need for anti virus
etc. The problem I have with this is that I can't view flash
elements (eg buttons, text etc.) when previewing in a browser -
they appear fine on dreamweaver and fine on any computer with flash
installed - but evidently computers without an internet connection
lack this plugin.
I have tried to download adobe flash player but it is an
instillation only file, it can't be saved as a setup file and then
transfered to a different computer.
Any ideas?

Placing a call through the internet tablet

I am thinking of purchasing the 770 internet tablet. I also have a nokia N70. When the two are connected via bluetooth will I be able to place a regular call (not internet) to a contact?

Not using the 770 (note, that it has been replaced by the newer N800, so consider getting that, instead).

New mac, no internet, how do I update my creative suite

getting a new imac witch is worked on offline, want to update my creative suite as well, but there is no offline version available. How do I work in future? I live in a place with very bad internet reception, 384k. Its not possible to download your software, it would take days... What should I do, beside of moving?

The latest updated version can be installed when you install it, to install you need to have an internet connection, once installed & updated you can use it offline for up to 90 days.

Can't get adobe reader to install on my new laptop with windows 8

I can't get adobe reader to install onto my new laptop with windows 8. Basically what happens is that I start the download from the adobe screen by clicking the yellow download button, then I click run (I've also tried save and run), then I allow the program to make changes to my hard drive, and then finally a blank grey box appears in the in the middle of the screen, titled "adobe reader installer". After this box appears nothing else happens. I've let it sit for at least 30 minutes and still nothing. I've also disabled my pop up blocker, and set the security settings to default as suggested in other posts. Unfortunately this is the only pdf program that works for the site we have to use to write contracts, so I need to get this figured out asap. Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

New iMac wireless internet crashes repeatedly -- why?

Just set up the following wireless LAN: Netgear WGT624v3 wireless router as access point between a broadband cable modem, a new 27" iMac, a PowerBook G4, and a Canon wireless printer. Everything works great except for one thing: whenever I'm trying to use the internet on the new iMac, my internet connection crashes and I have to manually reset the modem and router. This happens when downloading a file even as small as 2 Mb. As you can imagine, this has become incredibly irritating, as none of us can get anything done on our new computer without me having to come over and flip a switch on the power strip to repeatedly reset the internet connection.
The Netgear router is about as old as the PowerBook (3+ years)--I see it's listed "EOL" (end-of-life) on the Netgear website, and I'm wondering if it may not be powerful enough to handle the new iMac? That's the only thing I can think of, since using the internet with the PowerBook causes no problems at all. I don't understand the subtleties of Airport v. Airport Extreme, 802.11b, g, n or whatever, to figure this out on my own.
Anyone had a similar problem and/or can confirm that the router is the culprit before I needlessly spend money on a new one?

Some things you can try, if you haven't already:
-Make sure you don't have any cordless phone base stations operating near your router.
-Are any other electrical appliances (like microwave ovens or fluorescent bulbs) operating when your wireless connection fails?
-Power down the router and the iMac, then restart each.
-Change the channel your router uses to broadcast its signal. You should be able to do this from the web browser interface most routers support.
-Check Netgear's support website for firmware updates. Some routers can be commanded to check this from the web browser interface.
