I continue to get errors when trying to install Photoshop - an app i purchased. It gets to 42% and then says that I must close ImageReady.exe before it can continue. I closed ImageReady and even ended many tasks on my task manager but still the same error

Your best bet is probably to start over by cleaning off the old software with the Adobe Cleaner tool:

I have been trying to increase my disk space for windows xp on my Imac and I am running parallels 6. before opening windows I go into configure in parallels and open the hard drive and try to move the allotted disk space from 32 gig to 64 or any other increased gig and then apply and I get the error message: resizing failed unable to resize last volume. The file system of this volume might be damaged or not supported. How do I increase the size?? I just also did a disk repair utility with Apple on the Apple side of my IMAC. Please Help!! I had uninstalled SQL server on the windows side and needed to uncompress files to install this and then I ran short on disk space.

This sounds to me that your Parallels XP file system is corrupted and not the OSX file system.
Have you checked the XP file system while running the Parallels XP yet ?

Open a Windows Command prompt, e.g. Hit Start > Run, type in CMD and press OK.
Type in SUBST E: C:\<enter>
This will map E: to C: until the machine is restarted or you enter SUBST E: /D at the command prompt. Now you can try uninstalling or upgrading the software again.
(If upgrading software which lets you choose a location, install the software in the default location, not on the E:\ drive.)

You're ignoring context. On the old Apple Discussion Groups I never posted replies like that, instead giving people relatively detailed answers. Can you attach an image of the error display? Did you install DAQmx after installing LabVIEW? Do you have the DAQmx palette?

That's definitely enough to start.
It sure seems like it should work...and then I saw that you're using a router. It could very well be that the router is the weak link here.
Instead connecting to your network router, try using a direct USB connection from your MBP. If that doesn't work, you read this post, which may be relevant to your problem:
