Installing Photoshop CS6 upgrade

Question

The installer for such an expensive product is a disgrace as is the technica support offered.  Why is there no option to e-mail details of the problem complete with supporting log files etc.
I tried to install the CS6 update (from CS4) on a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit Dell Optiplex work station.  I tried installation twice and the best I got was the following error log:

So Adobe Bridge is not installed.
I then thought I would try the installation on my Hp Pavillion laptop also running Windows 7 64 bit. This time I got:
The product you are trying to install is not an Adobe Genuine software and appears to be counterfit. Please reort piracy or contract customer support for assistance.
What I would like to report is shamefully inadequate installation software ans inadequate customer technical support.  I wish I had stayed with Photoshop CS4.
Cany anyone offer any advice?

Dave Snelling I would recommend beginning by running the Adobe Support Advisor - http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ on the first computer.  It will review your installation logs and attempt to locate a solution.
Alternately you can review the installation log files manually by following the process listed in Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.
For the second computer that error is indicating a incomplete download.  Did you download the install files to a second computer or transfer them via a USB drive?
