Installing Photoshop Elements10

I have just purchase Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. I have installed Disc 1 of 3 and input serial number when asked. When i inserted disc 2, I was asked to input serial number. I input same serial number but have been told it is invalid. What do I do now?

Disc 2 contains the trial for Premiere Elements 10. Your Photoshop Elements 10 serial number will not work for Premiere Elements.

When i try to install Photoshop Elements 10 why does it keep telling me to insert disk

I purchased a Wacom Bamboo Create and it came with a software package which included Photoshop Elements 10 but when I try to install it, it accepts my serial number but won't let me complete the process. It keeps telling me i need to "insert Photoshop Elements10" to continue.....but the software package disk is already in the disk drive. I have a macbook pro retina that runs on Yosemite....anyone know how to solve this?

did you download the installation files?
if yes, what files (names/extensions) and what sizes?
if no, copy your cd contents to a desktop folder and attempt to install from the desktop folder.

How to Install Photoshop CC on a Drive Other than C:

I have purchase and installed Photoshop CC on one of my computers. I'm now ready to install it on the second one. But this Win 7 PC is running short of space on its C: drive. I want to install the files onto its D: drive. But the installer does not allow me the choice to do that.
Is there a way to do it?

In addition once you access the preferences you will want to click on the App tab. You will then want to click Choose to adjust the install location.

Find your serial number quickly
You can activate software without following up and registering it... at least that was the case in the past. The serial number is normally located on the disc case or a box inside the main box. If you did not purchase the disc from Adobe then it is possible you would have dealt with a redemption code, in which case it would have been up to you to keep a record of the serial number, especially if you did not follow up and register the software.

How do I install photoshop on the E: disk? (Or any other location on my laptop?)

I installed Photoshop, and it automatically installed on the C: disk (Windows 7). The C: disk has only 11 Gb left, and I think that's the reason that I get warnings about a full scratch disk.
So I rather install Photoshop on E:. So I reinstalled everything, but I could not change the install location. So again, it's on C:....

In the CC desktop app click the little Gear icon in the upper right hand corner and select Preferences. Click the Creative Cloud entry at the top and then the second entry down is Install Location. But that will change the install location for all future UpGrades (Not UpDates) to all Adobe CC programs.
This setting can be changed at any time. So before you install a NEW (UpGrade) CC app you can change it to any drive and folder you choose.

How to install Photoshop (already owned and NOT CC) on new computer without CD drive?????

First off, I am going to say that I think it is ridiculous that you can get NO phone support from adobe if you aren't a CC member???? So existing CS6 and LR5 users have to just use the forum?? Honestly, that is the worst customer service possible. I don't need to upgrade to CC because I already bought the programs before CC even came out!
I just got a new computer and it has no CD drive, so I have no way to install photoshop via the disk that I have. Do I just need to get a disk drive because there is no CS6 download? I just need to download it so I can put in my serial number which I have on my box.

How to install Photoshop 5 in Windows 7 64 bit machine

My Windows XP laptop quit. New laptop is Windows 7 64 bit machine. When I install Photoshop CD and select Install Photoshop 5, nothing happens. I found this link: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5162
but I cannot open it. The instructions with it say to copy into Files (x86\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop, but since I cannot get Photoshop 5 to load, there is no Adobe Photoshop files in x86\Adobe, only Adobe Reader. Help! I have lots of files I use Photoshop 5 to edit and now no way to edit them.

Start Windows Explorer, you can do this by opening up any folder.
Click Organize.
Click Folder and search options.

Scroll down until you notice Hide extensions for known file types, un-check this line by clicking the check box.
Note To hide file name extensions, check this line.

b. open the photoshop directory/folder and attach a screenshot of its contents.
c. open autorun (setup info) in notepad and copy and paste its contents here.
d. open readme.wri in wordpad and see if it contains anything useful.

Installing Photoshop 7 and MacBook Pro?

I'm having difficulty in installing Photoshop 7 onto my MacBook Pro (OS X, version 10.8.2 Processor 2.5 GHz intel Core i5)
I have this message appearing "You can't open the application "Install Adobe Photshop" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."
Can you help me? or suggest how I can overcome this?

"Failed to initialize" error message when installing Photoshop Elements 12

Hi,
I kepe getting an error message when trying to install Photoshop elements 12. I have re-downloaded the files multiple times from different places and none work so I know it isn't a corrupted file. Tried a system restart. Tried using support advisor but it found no issues.
I'm running Mac OS X 10.9 on a 2012 Macbook Pro that meets system requirements.
Any help is greatly appreciated

I have gone through the install logs and the error I am getting is 'PIM - Error could not create PIM Common Folder Path'. I have gone to the PDApp folder and it does not have any permissions on it. I have gone to the folder PDApp and it doesn't have any permissions, I'm not sure what to do from here. The PDApp folder is a alias that leads to the Adobe Application Managers folder. Sorry for the font being bold, it wouldn't turn off after pasting the error message.

Error message when installing Photoshop Elements 13 : Installer Failed to initialize

I am trying to install Photoshop Elements 13 on a PC with Windows 8.1. I can't run the Adobe Support Advisor because it is no longer available. Can a Adobe expert get in touch? Forums are sometimes not adequate to find solutions.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and delete/rename the OOBE folder from there.
Then install Adobe application manager from the below link:

After installing Photoshop Elements 10, it shuts down

After the first time this happened, I deleted and then reinstalled Photoshop Elements 10. But, the problem persists.
After it the program opens and I select Edit, the program opens completely and then, immediately appears an error message from Windows 7, saying that Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 no longer works. I'm asked to click on the button to close the program.
What should I try next?

Unfortunately, the document you suggested does not cover my situation. After I have downloaded, installed and registered Photoshop Elements 10, my problem only occurs when I have opened the program, and I’m presented the option to ‘organize’ or ‘edit’. I click on ‘edit’ and immediately after the program loads and opens, I get a system error message that “Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 no longer is working.” I’m requested to shut the program off. I do see that my ESET Smart Security 4 software scans for a moment before the error message appears, it that says anything to you. However, installing Photoshop on my other computer, with the same ESET software, had no problem.
