I'm trying to install cs6 on a surface pro 3 running windows 8.1 and it tells me it can't load the software

attach a screenshot of the error message if it's in english. otherwise, quote the message.

Thanks for your help Jeff. When I put serial# in, it won't except it.... I think it wants to see a previous version in my pc because my serial is for an upgrade, but when it put in a serial# for version cs5 it still wont except. Do you think i have to install cs5 first (which is also an upgrade).. which will require that I put in version cs4 etc,.etc., etc.

I think Adobe from there end does not support installation on Surface. But yes you can try the installation as in 90% cases it did Worked.

HP U160 with Windows 8.1 Surface Pro3

I have recently purchased a Surface Pro3 and I own the HP U160 portable monitor. The monitor works with all of my other laptops running Windows 7, but I can't get it to work with Windows 8.1. I updated the drivers on the HP website for Windows 8, but i don't see an update for Windows 8.1. The monitor shows backlight when i plug it in, but no images appear. Can someone please help?

For the duplex printing issue, you probably need to configure the driver so that it knows that a duplex unit is present on the device (assuming that one is present and physically working).
On the Printer properties dialogue, select the Device settings tab, and ensure that the duplex unit is set to Installed, rather than Not installed.
No idea about printer status interrogation software application for this model.

You seem to be asking two different questions.
The answer to how many computers you can install Dreamweaver on is two. However, if you want to sell Dreamweaver, you must transfer the licence entirely to the other person. In other words, you can't keep Dreamweaver on one of your computers, and sell the other permitted installation to someone else.

However, you say that you deleted your version from one computer. That's not enough. You should have deactivated it first. You will need to get Adobe to cancel the activation on the computer you no longer have. Otherwise, the person who buys from you won't be able to install on two computers.

How can I install DW CS6 in PC drive other than C:? I have "only" 6GB of space left in C:, and got an error message when I tried to put the Adobe Installer into another drive.

It's not about the cost of a new drive. I've already added 2TB over the past couple of years, and partitioned thim into higher drive letters. Most programs let me install them into those drives and still save enough in C: to be happy. But I'm uncomfortable messing with any root stuff. For some dumb reason, I partitioned the original drive (165GB) into 3 virtual drives (c,d,e) and the C: is only 60GB, which had 6GB free.
I've temporarily offloaded a lot of files and now have 13GB free space. Maybe I'll try the install again tonight, as it takes many hours to download DW CS6. If that doesn't work, maybe I'll have to ditch the 165GB drive and replace with larger. Do you know of a program that will do that exchange without losing anything? The thought of having to reinstall a lot of legacy software that I still use is scary. And I don't have any spare SATA ports left.

Error Install Adobe CS6 Master Collection on Windows 8

So I had two errors while installing Adobe CS6 MC on Windows 8. The first was a slew of OS Requirement Not Met Errors and was able to resolve this by running the setup in Compatibility Mode as Windows 7. However, the second error is persisting and I can not resolve this. I have approx 48 "ERROR: DW062: Unable to locate folder for token SharedDocuments". I am sure this is related to the fact that, using the move feature in Windows 8, I moved the Public folder to my D drive (to save room on the SSD). All other programs install properly. How can I resolve this?

Installer failed to initialize: unable to install Photoshop CS6 from download

I'm unable to install photoshop CS6 from download. I've downloaded to required two files (Photoshop_13_LS16.7z and Photoship_13_LS16) and double clicked on the second file. This appeared to extract a number of files and folders to a newly created C:/users/lester/desktop/adobe CS6/Photoshop/ folder. I found a file called "Set-up.exe" inside the .../Adobe CS6/ folder and double clicked it. When I double click, a status bar says "initializing installer" for a few seconds, I get the following error message:

Adobe installer is already running. Please close other Adobe installers and select retry option to continue with this installation.

Nothing else is running in Windows. The adobe support advisor link is useless because the page says support advisor was discontinued. The "how to download" PDF on the download page was useless (for CD disk downloads only). Any ideas?

Thanks Jeff - I decided to do a complete reinstall of Windows because of this issue and others with unwanted popups I accidentally downloaded. Hopefully things will go smoother the third time around, just as they did a few days ago when I did install PS CS6 without any problems.

How do I install Photoshop CS6 on a 2nd computer that has no disc drive?

I'm getting a 2nd laptop for travel and I want to install Photoshop CS6 onto that computer.
I read that I can install the software on 2 computers.
My new laptop doesn't have a disc drive. Is there a way for me to install my already purchased software onto this new laptop without having to purchase an external disc drive?
