Installing Premier Pro

I purchased Premier Pro online and can't seem to download it. It keeps redirecting to a page to try it, as if I did not buy it already.

Here's another option that might work for you.  Try downloading the trial version of it directly from the page linked below and use your serial number from the purchase to activate it.  Be sure to follow the Very Important Instructions on the page.

This is a direct download link meaning the download manager does not come into the picture.

Thanks for the added information, the screenshot did not get posted but that is ok.
These steps should resolve the issue on your Mac:
Double-click on the link for Uninstall Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 at Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers.
Check if the Install link is now available in the Adobe Application Manager.
If not, install and run the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove any traces of Premiere Pro. It can be downloaded from here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html.
The Install link should now be available in the Adobe Application Manager.

  • I am a Creative Cloud subscriber and am trying to open recently installed Premier Pro.

I have installed Premier Pro and it has worked a few times and now will not open - it is giving the error massage "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again" I have updated my Nvidia drivers and it still will not load. I have opened older Pemier Elements 7 and 11 and they work fine. I have tried other video files (Youtube etc) and they work fine too. I have rebooted Windows 7 without success. Any ideas ?
Just tried Right click on short cut and chose Run as Administrator and that didn't work either -

thanks very much ! no luck I'm afraid. Right click and "run as admministrator" did't work. I dont have an AMD graphics card and so thats not applicable and I am not skilled enough to play around with the BIOS. I figured out I had a NVidia GeForce GTX 260 graphics card and that was not on the Premier Pro list of supported cards. So I found the cuda_supported_cards.txt file and tried to add the "260" to the list - I added the card but when I tried to save the edited TXT file I got an "Access Denied" message and so I am still stuck. Be very grateful for any help. Seems like a lot of folks are having this problem with Premier Pro as the list of supported cards is apparently limited.

  • Can't install Premier Pro CC 2014 on my MacPro

I have been trying to install Premier Pro CC 2014 on my MacPro, but it always stops at 42% and asks me to close PhotoshopServer.
The first time this happened I opened Activity Monitor, found that process and ended it with a Quit/Force Quit.
When I hit Retry on the installer, it immediately asks me again to close PhotoshopServer.
Problem is, it is no longer running.  Doesn't show up in the active process list.  Doesn't show up in search.
Tried restarting and going through it all again, with same result.
Haven't had any problems with any of the other CC 2012 installs.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Jeff,
I have nine network drives that launch from my Login Items, but nothing else.
Thought there might be a firewall issue but had the same problem with it off.

    Hi sarah gilkinson,
It is not clear whether the application has been installed on your computer or not. Can you please tell me how did you install the CS6 version? If you downloaded it from the Creative Cloud desktop application, it would have been installed on your computer by itself. To confirm if it has been installed, please check if you see Premiere Pro CS6 in your Applications folder.
If it is there, try to launch it and let me know if you see the splash screen. Also, please specify more details about your computer like RAM, Processor and Graphics. It would be of great help if you can attach a screenshot of the problem.
    Thanks!

  • Why won't my newly installed Premier Pro CS5.5 start?

I just had to have my PC overhauled with a new motherboard and decided to upgrade my Adobe software while I was at it. Installed the Production Suite today and when I try to start Premier Pro CS5.5 it acts like it is starting up, brings up the workspace screen but then just shuts down.
I've got an AMD Phenom II X4 840 Processor 3.20 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, and am running Windows 7.
Photoshop and seval other of the Adobe Programs open just fine...though I haven't tried any of them out just yet...Premier Pro is what I need to use right now and so it's just par for the course that it isn't working.
Any ideas what the problem is?
    Thanks

Premiere Pro shut down...I didn't have a lot of time to try and work on this today but I did poke around trying to find the preferences and set about to pull up the event log before having to leave. I figured I would give it a look tonight...I opened some of the hidden files trying to find the preferences didn't have much luck...was about to figure out how to pull the event log (never done that before) when I happened to click on an old project file I had from my older version...and the program opened...even better it stayed open.
To my knowledge I did nothing at all other than look in some hidden folders. I have tried a couple of different times now to just open the program from the start menu and it works...now my firewire port is on the blink so I haven't had a chance to actually try the bugger out but I have verified that all seems stable...for now.
Thanks for the input...if I wind up having the trouble again I'll start with your suggestions but hopefully it won't come to that.

  • How to install premier pro on a different computer

I have premier pro already and usually I use it on an imac but would like to download PR and use it on my laptop. How can I sign in to my account where I have other videos saved. For some reason when I downloaded PR to my laptop, it got me a trial instead.

    Hi,
With an individual account, you would be able to work on two computers simultaneously. Make sure you are signed in with the same Adobe ID on both computers.
    Thanks,
    Rameez

  • Photoshop keeps on getting out of memory error after installing Premier Pro

I just upgrade my CS to CC. Yesterday I installed Photoshop and did my work without any problem but today after installing Premier and After Effect, I keep on getting out of memory error when I'm working even though I don't have any other application running accept photoshop alone. The file I'm working on is a small file, iphone plus size interface. Basically I can open the file, add blur effect and try to type text I will get photoshop telling me that my system is out of memory. Restarting photoshop give the same problem, restarting my computer give the same problem, ie do one thing and next will give memory not enough.
I don't think my system is slow as it is workstation with dual processor and 12 gig of ram, windows 7 64bits 1gb dedicated memory for graphic card.
I uninstall Premier and After Effect and suddenly the problem go away. Photoshop work as per normal. I didn't have the time to reinstall premier again but will try to do it tonight or tomorrow
    Anyone experience such problem before?

When you get that error leaver the error showing and use something the can show you how much free disk space there is left on Photoshop scratch disk.  It may be a problem with scratch storage space not ram storage space.  I see Photoshop use much more scratch space the ram.  I have seen Photoshop using less than 10GB of ram on my machine leaving 30GB of free ram on my system unused while using over 100GB of scratch space.

  • CS5: I chose not to install Premier Pro but it installed anyway.

During the installation program I deselected Premier Pro and After Effects.  After the installation was complete, both were in my Applications directory.
As a side note, Adobe really needs to contain all these applications into one parent folder.  I'm tired of all these folders clogging up my Applications directory.

    Christian,
That is exactly what I do on all of my Adobe programs. Everything (save for Acrobat Reader, which installs where it wants to, with no input from the user) is in my C:\Adobe folder, with each program in a sub-folder below. Do not know it this ability has been stripped out, as I have both the CS2 Production Studio and Creative Suite Premium, but PS, AI, InDesign, AE, Acrobat Pro, Go-Live, PrPro, Encore, etc.

Hi, I had this error. It turns out that for me at least, this is a false alarm. When I quit Creative Cloud and restarted it from the desktop, it reported that all of the apps had been successfully updated. I tried running PS CC 2014 and Premiere CC 2014, and they seemed to work as they should. I would be interested to know if this works for you.

ERROR: DF024: Unable to preserve original file at "C:\Windows\Fonts\MyriadPro-Regular.otf" Error 32 The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.(Seq 52)

Best option would be either what Mylenium has suggested or simply shut down the machine and power it up again. Post this try the installation and suggest.

  • I am trying to install Adobe Encore, but it has been discontinued. Can I install and activate a previous version using my Single App Premier Pro membership?

I am trying to burn and author a Blu Ray DVD. I do not have a usable version of Encore , as it has been discontinued. I currently have a Single App membership for Premier Pro CC.
I was advised to install Premier Pro CS6 as Encore comes with this package. I did this, and the software downloaded but an error message came up saying my membership had expired. I think this is because I do not have permission to run Preier Pro CS6 using my Premier Pro CC membership. How can I get the software using my current membership? Or do I need to upgrade my membership to a full Creative Cloud membership in order to use Encore?

    CS5-thru-CC PPro/Encore tutorial list http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1448923 will help
The bottom section of the link above has several Adobe links, and other information, on downloading Premiere Pro CS6 and the bundled Encore CS6, and the TWO ADDED downloads for the Encore library content, to author a DVD or BluRay... and the tutorial list includes learning how to use Encore... pay particular attention to the picture in reply 3 at this link - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1516173 (picture first posted by Ann Bens and reposted by Stan Jones)
