Installing purchased Fusion over free trial version

Two ?'s
1- Do I need to remove the free trial version of Fusion 3 before installing a purchased product (not purchased from vmware)
2- What is the difference between - More seamless and more secure, Security wise?
Will more seamless allow the mac side to be more susceptible to windows anomalies?
Which do you all recommend?

1st, I bought Fusion from a 3rd party. Might try entering the code I got from it and see if it works. If not will uninstall the trial version then install the one I bought.
2nd, I do know that Windows is still vulnerable to attack. One of the reasons we went mac. Besides the endless security updates that kept making it slower and it screwing up Avast. Unfortunately we do have to have Internet explorer for some of the sites we need to access, Safari and Firefox are not compatible. At least they are gov or financial sites that are secure.
Also wanted to know if I install fusion as More Seamless can the mac side be affected? Or just the files that are shared?
I installed the trial version More Secure and am having trouble with accessing files with both OS's easily.
Is there anyway of changing More Secure to More Seamless? Disregard this, found out how by going into - settings/share folders.

Hi, the problem is that my IT department was sent a link on his laptop to install Illustrator, however the request was for them to build me a workstation and install it on there. they have built the workstation and is having problem installing the CC desktop app on there, just to clarify would you be able to answer the following:
1) Do you have to have CC desktop app to install Illustrator from the given link?
2) If you have signed up & installed CC on your laptop, can you install illustrator on a workstation by simply installing the CC desktop app on the workstation, log into that with your username & activate the link to install illustrator, basically the provided link should not be specific to a computer or user?

I am having this same exact problem. I have a mid-2011 iMac (latest model) 3.4 GHz i7, 20GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB. All of the other effects seem to work fine, but i have this same issue with all of the garbage mattes. I have just seen this thread and am wondering if there has been any progress or insights to finding a solution. I do use 4 point masks that are not exasctly square/rectangular so the crop work around won't exactly work for me. I can also make a shape and use an image mask but that takes a bit longer than a quick garbage mask.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Cannot install free trial version of AutoVue

Dear Sir or Madam,
Yesterday, I downloaded and installed for the first time a free trial version of AutoVue. I moved the .exe file to a different folder than the one it appeared in after installation. Then I tried to run the program, I got an error message. Therefore, I uninstalled the AutoVue and tried to reinstall AutoVue, however I was prevented from reinstalling it. I tried downloading another free trial version of AutoVue and then tried to reinstall Autovue, however I was prevented from reinstalling it.
Would someone from Oracle please get in touch regarding this issue or please indicate an Oracle email address I can use to resolve this issue?
I would be glad to provide my account information as verification of the date I registered at Oracle to download a free trial version of AutoVue.

you will be unable to reinstall it because i also faced the same problem .

Error Message With Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Free Trial Version

Hi,
I know that this is a holiday weekend, but I need assistance with Adobe Acrobat 9 Free Trial Version. I downloaded it, and then created a PDF file from MS Word 2007. I tried to print, but the "save as" command popped up. I had already saved it, so it already had a document name. I tried resaving it and it would not do so. Here's the error message that I received:
"Adobe PDF cannot access the file because it is in use by another application process. Verify that the file is not open by another application or process and try again.
I did not have another app open. Also, during this time, the software setup box kept popping up. I kept selecting the 30 day trial version, but nothing would happen after I selected the button. I am using the Vista OS on my computer. I also have the Adobe Reader 9 which I have had for a while.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the free version of Adobe Acrobat 9 and got the same result as described above. If someone can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

You have a problem. You cannot have Reader and Acrobat Pro on the same computer. It causes problems. Normally, I'd tell you to uninstall Reader and re-install Acrobat Pro, but doing so might make your trial fail and you cannot get two trials. For the moment when trying to create a pdf file, try printing to the the Adobe PDF virtual printer.

The problem was that you migrated CS6. Unfortunately, migration doesn't work because it doesn't move all the files.
First, you'll need to use the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove the components that were installed:

If you have your Creative Cloud Desktop app open, go down to "Find new software" and from the drop down "filter by" menu, choose "previous versions" and under Photoshop, there is another drop down menu with a choice of versions 13, 14, and 15. Select 14 and you should see an install or try option. Click on that and CC with the oil paint filter will be added.

Thanks for the tip. I installed it and could start evaluating it.
One of my issues is that the iMac display dimensions are non-standard and hence by default a presentation in PowerPoint of Keynote doesn't use the complete width. I found by chance the way to adapt the presentation proportions to the monitor.

Distributing forms in free trial version?

The help feature says that "Distributing Forms is a feature that is available only in the stand-alone version of Designer ES2." Is this the same thing as the free trial version? I'm wondering if this functionality is removed from the free version.
