Installing Soundblaster Audigy 2 Z5 notebook software and driver for Vi

Question

I am trying to install the software that came with my Audigy 2 Z5 Sound card for PC notebook computer.
I recently purchased a new notebook computer "Toshiba Satellite" which runs on Microsoft Vista. My prior computer
ran on Windows XP. The Soundcard software has no Vista drivers, only XP drivers.
I visited the Creative Lab site and downloaded the appropriate Vista driver for this product.
I am unable to install this?driver and get a message saying "setup is uable to detect a supported product"
I also get the same message when I attemp to install the original software that came with the sound card.
I would certainly appreciate any suggestions.

The result of the last install: Crashed with blue screen, Two lines are in the messages, that are not part of the explanation, on how to fix the problem:

After restart, the bios test freezez in the final frazes, and force shutdown and restart, functions well again. The sound card is in while booting.
No driver confilcts.
