I am running Logic Express 8 on my macbook and will be buying an Imac as well. Can i install the same programme (obviously with same serial code) on my new system as well. Also i will be transferring projects between the two systems. Will this be a problem?

Yes. The license permits it to be installed on a desktop and laptop you own at once, but not to have the application running on both computers as opposed to simply installed at once.

I can't download the Adobe Edge Reflow. The file's downloading is successfull but the file doesn't go to my Creative Cloud so I can't install the programme. I have already install the Photoshop CC and the Reflow Plug-in for Photoshop.

1. I am running on Windows 8.1
2. When running the installer file from https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/reflow I get the following choice
I click "OK" which doesn't do anything for me (CC is off).
I turn CC on and run the installer again. I get the following window that within few settings disappears:
Then - just for half a second it says "Launching Creative Cloud desktop" and then it brings CC to front, and that's all.
RF still not there.
3. I spoke ta support agent on the Adobe chat on Friday. He looked into my computer for an hour. Uninstalled After Effects (after failing to update it). For some reason all apps disappeared from the list. They then reappeared after he opened PS.
This morning After Effects is still showing up in my system and is operational.
Weird.
4. At the end the agent suggested maybe Firewall is the problem here. Trying that out now. -
Need to download a programme to set up VPN but I can't access the website as it is also blocked in china? how do I install the programme if I cant download it or have it on a external hard drive.
Not sure I understand you correctly.. Are you currently in China, and therefore unable to download the app? Also, which program is it that you're trying to get?

Thanks Carolyn. Unfortunately, this didn't work. It turned out to be in my display monitor as I have my computer wired to my tv for streaming. Once I changed the monitor display it worked fine. Go figure

How can I install the programms again after a system restore?
After my system went down, right after installation of the programms with the Adobe Applicaton Manager, I had to restore the system. Of course by then all the installed applications weren't working.
I will have to reinstall them. But unfortunately I can't download and install the applications again because AAM thinks they are allready installed. Thus far nothing works. Who can help me?Run the Cleaner tool to remove all the Adobe Software and then check in the AAM.

I downloaded the new Yosemite operating system on my MacBook Pro last night and this morning my straighter does not want to open. When I click on the icon to open it gives me an air message sending me to download a legacy format of Java generation SE and when I do you download and install it, even after refreshing the. MacBook several times I still don't get any positive results as far as having the software open. Does somebody know why and what I can do so that I can run my existing programs from Adobe with my new Apple Yosemite operating system. I am drowning here
The easiest way is to go to the Apple site and find the Java for OSX 2014-001 and install it. There have been some reports of blank pages returned so you may need to try several browsers.

The hard drive for my MacBook Pro recently crashed. I purchased and installed a new hard drive (i.e. a Samsung SSD). When I try to re-install the Mac operating system, I come to the part of the installation instructions where you are asked to choose a disk to install the software. However, there is no disk listed in the selection screen. Why is there no disk in the selection screen?

You haven't formatted the SSD, so you can't install Mac OS X.
First, close the OS X installer and open Disk Utility. Then, choose the SSD at the top of the sidebar, go to Erase tab, choose "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" as "Format", and press Erase. Finally, close Disk Utility and reinstall OS X. See > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html -

Answer to questiosn:
To restore the setting reinstalling the kernel source/headers (maybe headers are enough 'cos if I'm right you have to modify .h files only).
To recompile the kernel (read it completely before you start to do anything!):
0. became root user
1. cd /usr/src/linux (I assume that you have only one kernel source installed the version you are using as you boot kernel right now)
2. make dep; make clean (maybe you don't need to execute these but to make sure everything gets recompiled)
3. make zImage (or make bzImage if the first fails because the compilation will say that your kernel is too big; it's not a real error!)
4. make install
5. reboot
If everything was OK, then you should have your new kernel booting, but I would advise you to make a backup of your old kernel (I won't describe it how to do it, it would be a lengthy message).
BTW, I don't know why Oracle says that you should recompile the kernel, it works without it too.

That's odd, it should still work (I know there are people using CS3 right now in these forums from time to time on current machines), unless Adobe is changing things with the activation servers again.
Have you tried the "date trick" posted by Mike above?
Maybe the trick here will work, using your own serial in place of the MX2004 serial?

I dutifully un installed Itunes because of some conflict, I now find I cannot re-install Itunes because the old Itunes is on some other drive that do not know of, what do Ido now
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. The notes should get you past porblems uninstalling the old version.
Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page later if you have trouble after reinstalling in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Ive installed a free trail to my Windows 8 but I have a shortcut on the desktop but it just takes me to the Creative Cloud Apps page on my computer and wont let me open Premier Pro to create a project! PLEASE HELP ME
On my Start there is only a shortcut to Creative Cloud where it takes me to a list of all the apps Ive installed and how to upload work online, rather than allowing me to open the software.

I have never been able to get the updated Firefox version to read, so I am on AOL Basic Mail, because they don't support the old version, which has been replaced and updated 30 times, if not more. I need to get this to show in my system and I have not been able to get it to happen. Is there an override or something that I need to do when I update, because the system doesn't want to do it.

Visio 2013 trial, problems to install the .img file
As soon as I download the trial for visio 2013 it automotically downloads an .img file. How do I either get an .exe file or the .img file to run? I would like to install the programm, thats all.
Its the 64 bit versionI also have no option to mount an .img file, so there are 2 problems:
1) This process doesn't work because we can't mount it, and
2) Clearly, some software that performs the mounting is missing from the System Requirements.
Please answer how to do #1, and fix #2 on the MSDN pages.

Perhaps part of the difficulty is that various products, are "packaged" in differing ways (some are offered as EXE, some as ISO, some as IMG).
Also, different versions/editions of Windows, offer different disc-image-handling options as built-in features.
So it's not straightforward to have a one-size-fits-all guide for this topic.
The information on the linked MSDN page is somewhat adequate for most situations, but, a certain familiarity with the topic is assumed, and maybe it's that assumption which is unreasonable.
Since MS don't develop/offer/sell disc image software, MS are cautious when and how advising customers to select and use such software. (except for the builtin-in features).
There is a very wide range of software available to perform the "burning" or "virtual drive/mount" function, and MS do list some suggestions on the above-linked page. There is no need to wrestle with "mounting", if you choose
to "burn" the disc image to a recordable CD or DVD.
Some other popular choices include MagicISO, VirtualCloneDrive, WinCDEmu.
Also note that the software product itself (in this case, Visio) has no requirement for any such software. It's the delivery-vehicle that has the requirement, and, I agree that a bit more useful information about the "packaging and delivery vehicle"
is needed.
You can raise this with the MSDN Feedback forum, since it's not related to the Visio product itself, but how it is offered via the MSDN channel.

I have been Happy with my IMac, and with the Leopard, but as soon as Apple Released, the Lion, I Was a Complete Stupid and downloaded, My Computer seems to be another one, maybe a 10 years old computer, and a Fool One, first when I turn On, come to life in 5-7 Minutes, after that appears a screen, who never appears Before!!, And After that my computer doesn't: Work the sound, the Mail, didnt work, the "wheel" appears every minute, Frozing the computer, It didnt recognize the USB!!!!. The worst Thing APPLE Do, is the LION, if Apple, doesnt Repair ASAP this big mess, Apple, will be in a Downhill!!!!! How, can I Re-install the Leopard, because, this system does not Alow. THANKS
