Installing the second disc

Why can I not get the second disc to load and install in my computer for the elements. Im new to all of this. I have never used photoshop before. I can hear it making noise but i never see any functions pop up as I did with the first disc.
I purchased the complete set for photos and movie editing. Elements 11.

Thre possibilities:
(1) Both applications are installed and the other disk is a Goodies or extras disk
(2) the disk is bad
(3) the drive went belly up.
So, check to see if both apps are installed. If not, then put other disk in a different machine and see if it can be read.

Photoshop Elements 10 was a single disk product. Might the second disk be the video editing program 'Premiere Elements 10'? If so it will have a different serial number (24-digits commencing 1143) to that of Photoshop Elements (24-digits commencing 1057).
If you don't have the serial number, but did register the software, you should be able to retrieve it from the 'My Products' section in your 'My Adobe' A/c.

How do I get the second disc to start at track 1 while tagging?

I am trying to tag my music the way I prefer, and I know the tagging is right. I have the iPod Classic, but the tags I'm using does not work on my iPod because its an older model.
I am going to explain what I mean and how I tagged them.
For this example, it's a 2 CD album. 11 tracks on the first disc and 9 tracks on the second disc. I am tagging them iTunes so that disc 2 could start at track 1 and not track 12, but with my iPod being older regardless of my tags it's still starts at track 12 and not track 1 for disc 2 even though I don't want it that way.
Here is how I tagged them. Highlight all tracks from disc 1 and put 11 in for the track of, then highlight all tracks for disc 2 and put in 9 for track of.
Now since I have an older iPod model, are there any other ways to get every disc to start at track 1 even if its a 10 CD box set and not start at the next track number then the last track the disc ended so every disc would start at track 1?

this is how i do it. Hold the voice over button for about 5 to 6 seconds and to pick out your playlist just press on the track selection button. What that does is tells you the playlist that you have on your ipod. The very last thing is select the can of playlist you want by clicking on the play/pause button and you wold be albe to start at the beginning of your playlist.

How do I download and install the second license?

I bought iWork Family pack last year (downloadable version). To download it to my mac I needed to download the trial version and then input my Key number. Now I have bought a macbook and I want to put iWork on it but the download trial version is no longer active on Apple. This is where I would have previously put my purchase code. Does anyone know how to download and install the second license?

Since the original poster (like myself) already had a Mac with iWork 9 on it... networking (or copying the files below to a thumb-drive) and installing into the Mac without should work just fine.

Can't install the second DVD applications - no set up icon

I have Creative Suites CS4 for Mac. First DVD installed perfectly. But the second DVD only has two folders, Extensions and Payloads, and no set up icon/function. I have contacted technical support and their solution was to send me a whole new set of DVDs, but it's still the same problem. Their other solutions did not work either. Help! How do I install my second set of applications on the Mac without the set-up icon?

I have a MacBook MacOSX 10.5.8 - 2 GB memory.
I put in the first DVD and clicked setup for easy install. The applications that were listed on that DVD (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Acrobat) installed. When it finished installing, it said Thanks and ejected the disk. But I was still missing InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash. I then put in the second DVD. Nothing happened.
I called technical suppoirt and they were no help both times.

I can not install the Application Disc software

Hello I tried to install the Application Install Disc for the Bundle Software but had install errors, will not let me has anyone had the same problem and knows of a fix ? Thank you for your help.

What system are you running and how are your trying to install iDVD, i.e. from what or where? Are you getting any error messages?

Lightroom installed ...no issues. CS5.5 Web Premium downloaded the first file and a message screen popped up " unable to open these files . Search web or use a installed program. The second file of CS5.5 said it could not download because files were missing. I just formatted my hard drive and now only windows 7 is installed on the computer , except for lightroom and internet browsing programs , the one I am using is internet explorer.

Burning a book in iTunes the second disc always fails?

I keep trying to burn a book from iTunes onto CD's but this time after the first disc, my external drive keeps rejecting the discs. I know there was an update awhile ago that addressed external burners from being ignored by the system but I udated the software.

Are you getting any error messages? What do they say? Have you contacted the external drive manufacturer? Read its user manual?

HT3910 I get an unknown error when trying to install the applications disc contents

I rebooted the MacBook pro that my dad just gave me and erased all the memory that he had on it but when I try to install the applications disk again it tells me unknown error and to contact the manufacturer I don't know who that is exactly(is it a specific part of apple?) and I don't know how to contact them what do I do?

I have always had all-in-ones. I now have a mac pro, and I love it. I have many disc drives of varying sorts lying around my place, most from older windows towers, but one cd-rw drive from a round base imac. Since I could never do these types of expansion on my old macs, I have no clue what will hook up in my empty drive bay.
This drive from the apple is a... sony cd-r/rw drive unit crx170E/. can I put it in my mac pro's second slot?
If so or if not, can someone briefly explain the types of cd-r connections that would/would not work so i understand the concepts?

Do I need to do anything special? or will in function right as soon as I get it installed?

How can I get my installed plugins to show up in Logic after ive installed the plugin discs? ive tried changing the bit mode. it STILL doesn't work.???

I tried installing a program but when i open logic and scan the audio units, it doesnt come up. Even if i change the bit mode, it still doesnt show up. I even tried restarting my machine..Can anyone help me or give me some ideas.

Have you confirmed that the plug-in installed to one of the locations where Logic might find it? Most plug-ins go to /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components. Some (rarely) install to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components (where "~" is your user folder). Look in both locations and see if the plug-in is actually there.
When installing plug-ins, if you are offered options as to what format to install, be sure to include Audio Units. Logic will not see other formats like VST, RTAS, AAX, TDM, etc. If you use other software that recognizes those formats, it's fine to install them too, just be sure you don't deselect Audio Units.
Finally, if you're sure the plug-in is installed to the right place, open the Audio Units Manager in Logic and check to see if the plug-in passed validation. Go to the main menu and choose Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio Units Manager. Check to see if your plug-in is listed there. If there's not a check mark next to it in the "Logic" column, that means it failed validation. If so, the "Compatibilty" column will tell you why. Keep in mind that if the AU is 32-bit, you have to launch Logic in 32-bit mode to see it here. Likewise, 64-bit plug-ins show up in the manager in 64-bit mode.

we loaded disc 1 and when we went to load disc 2 it asked for serial number again. we put it in and it did not accept it. every time we tried we get the same results.
