Installing the Tutorial SmartSyncApp

I installed/configured the MI tutorial as described in "Tutorial: Developing a simple Smart Sync Application".
When I try to replicate the data, MEREP_EX_REPLIC complains:
"SyncBO ZAGE_CNTCT does not exist".
- SyncBOs based on the BAPI wrappers MEREP_CONTACT_*
- SyncBO type is S01. D01 does not exist anymore.
- There is data in the tables. Generated by: MEREP_SAP_EXM002_DATA_GEN2. The other report does not work.
- verified data in the tables with SE16.
- SyncBO was generated in MEREP and enabled in MEREP_PD
What did I forget?

Hi Andre,
Replication is only done for T01 and T51 syncBos, but never for S01 syncBos. The report merep_ex_replic will never recognise your syncBO as it of S01 type.

I have instaled Discoverer Administration edition 3.1 and after it Discoverer 3i for the web. In the Admin edition Icreated one EUL and Tutorial firs. It was O.K. But I deleted Tutorial and then the EUL. After it I created again new EUL and wanted to install the Tutorial but at the end of instalation there is appeared the message: INVALID FORMULA OR FILTER. Nothing else, no help.
Does anybody know how can I install the Tutorial again?

Sorry about that. I will make sure to stay away from any slang usage. When I said "bouncing" I meant to shutdown and restart the database. When I said "I imagined something just got hosed up" ... I meant that something funny was going on with the database. What relase are you currently using for Discoverer? There is a patch release fix (version 3.1.41) that can be applied to versions 3.1.25, 3.1.26, 3.1.27, 3.1.28, 3.1.36, 3.1.37, 3.1.38 or 3.1.40. So you may want to upgrade to this patch if you are not already using this. Then start back over trying to do what you have been doing. This could fix the problem you are experiencing. Hope I have been able to help more then I did the first time. Once again I apologize for my use of slang words. Good luck!

Open iPhoto, select a couple of photos and use the Share ➙ iWeb ➙ Photo page menu option. That has jump started iWeb for others. I could take a couple of tries.
If that doesn't work try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iiWeb.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder.

Garbage which operating system are you using? Have you tried using the Task Manager/Activity Monitor to close the offending application/process?

I installed update 5.7.1, and can not find the new panorama, or HDR features. I watched the tutorial for the location. Does LR 5 not support these features?

Are the Panorama and HDR features not supported in LR 5.7.1?
I installed the update, but they do not show where the tutorial shows below Photo/Edit In.

These features are only in Lightroom 6/Lightroom CC, and you would have to purchase Lightroom CC or Lightroom 6 (or use the 30-day free trial and then purchase it).

That makes sense. Is there anything I can do to make this demo work without de-installing 10.1.3.1 Preview? Or If I also install 10.1.3.0.4 with SU5 on another folder, does that affect my 10.1.3.1 Preview version?

I needed idvd, but since my iMac is newer, I didn't have idvd on it. I installed iLife 11. I should not have installed the iPhoto part because it was 9.1 and my iMac was 9.2. So now my iPhoto wouldn't work. I went to iPhoto Library organizer.

I needed iDvd, but since my iMac is newer, I didn't have iDvd on it. I installed iLife 11. I shouldn't have installed the iPhoto part because now my iPhoto wouldn't work since iLife 11 was 9.1 and my iMac had 9.2. So I used iPhoto Library Manager to create a new library. That was working, but my computer ran out of hard drive room since my original iPhoto had 137 GB of photos. My new iPhoto library had the majority of my pics and the iPhoto now worked with those pics. But now I still had all of those original pics in my hard drive. I thought that by getting rid of the original iPhoto on the iPhoto Library Manager I would get rid of all of those original pics. I now have no access to them but they are in my hard drive and I can't do much with my iMac because it is all clogged up with those original pics - I think. How do I get rid of my original iPhoto pics out of my hard drive?

What system are you running? If it's Mt. Lion go to the App Store and sign in with the Apple ID you used to purchase the Mac. Go to Purchases and download iPhoto again. The current version is 9.4.3.
If you're unable to download iPhoto from the App Store you can reomstall iPhoto from the iLife 11 disk and update it from the Apple Downloads website to the highest version you can get to (I was able to update all the way to 9.4.3 via the updaters). Then if iPhoto can't open the library use iPhoto Library Manager to rebuild it and it will rebuild it compatible with your version of iPhoto via this iPLM tutorial: Fat Cat Software - iPhoto Library Manager Help - Downgrading a library to an earlier version of iPhoto

Problems with the Tutorial in the MDK Documentation

Hey,
I have made the tutorial-exercise of the MDK-documentation, in which You try to create a SyncBO and let generate the client application.
When I do all the steps and import the generated XML-file into my Eclipseproject, it should be possible to test the application on the client, after uploading to the middleware.
But when I download it to the client by synchronizing and when I´m clicking on the shown link then, it doesn´t start!
I get the message "The page cannot be found..".
But when I´m installing other application, like f.e. MAM, I can start it....
Any ideas?

How to install the musegrid audio widget?

Does anyone know how to install the MuseGrid Audio Widget. Once I get in in the library I drag it onto the page, preview it and nothing show in the browser. I have the assets folder that comes with it but have no clue how to connect the widgets assets to the audio player. As well as how to connect the mp3 file to the audio player.
There are no clear cut instructions about the install and even on the page I downloaded it from the video tutorial does not play. I think I gave away $9..Please Help

There is a training video on this page that explains how our Audio Widget works - you might have some luck getting your downloaded widget to work by using a similar method as we use...

Having problem in learning JDeveloper base on the tutorial

I would say I'm new to J2EE and JDeveloper is the first IDE tool that I'm intend to use. I like the tutorial (http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe11jdev/11/ejb/ejb.html) very much as it is easy to understand. I follow the tutorial steps by steps(Note: I create my own schema and tables instead of installing the schema as in the tutorial) and I found that my JDeveloper interfaces are different with the sample in the tutorial. The version that I downloaded is exacly JDeveloper 11g (Preview 2). Is the version different?
When I trying to run HRFacadeClient I encounter errors.
I wish that I can attach document as I have done screenshot of the interfaces. Pls advise how should I further explain my problem? I really need help in order for me to conitnue my learning.

Before I paste my error, first I wish to say that instead of using thr HR Schema that as stated in the tutortial, I use my own schema (wenxi) with two new tables, there are Employee & Department.
After that I just follow the tutorial steps by steps, I have no problem in compiling the classes. I encounter problem when run the HRFacadeClient. Below is my error message. For tracing, I did try to
comment out the for loop corresponding to the queryEmployeeFindAll() method, FAILED. After that I tried to comment out the for loop corresponding to the hRFacade.queryEmployeesFindByName() method and so on. But all FAILED. How do I get the tutorial to open?

I've got LR installed already. Bought and paid for. I look at the tutorial and I have two choices - download (and pay for) LR again, no thanks, or download the tutorial. All that comes are the images and the tutorial is nowhere to be seen. Any clues anyone?

You work through the tutorial by viewing the videos online. (Scroll down to see the videos.) You are right, the download is only for the photos you can use to follow along with the videos, if you like.

CS 5 InDesign can't get the tutorial to work

I'm new to CS5 InDesign. I want to do the tutorial but
when it tries to load it says I need an updated version of "Flash"
I have uninstalled flash and reinstalled several time.
The version that I downloaded is version 10.2.159.1
But when I check on the version number that is installed it says 10.1.53.64.
I have uninstalled that version several time and reinstalled with version 10.2
yet it still says I'm running 10.1 and the tutorial won't run.
What do I need to do to fix this problem???

Problems with the Tutorial...

I've installed kodo 2.5.2 in Websphere ver.5.
I've followed all the instructions to run the tutorial:
I put all the *.java, .jdo and .properties files in a new Project named
JDO_TEST.
After using the menu "Add enhancer to build" with the file "Animal.java",
I've rebuilded all the files and then in the kodo's window appear a
message error.
I've opened the log and this is what i've found:

It sounds like your project files are not in the classpath that Kodo
is seeing. Is this at all possible? Can you ensure that your project
classpaths are correctly set up?

Compilation Problems with the Tutorial in JDeveloper

Hello!
I'm a new user of JDeveloper. So this is typical newbie problem! I am planning to develop a Web Application using JDeveloper 3.0(JRE 1.1.8) and Oracle 8i (8.1.1). As a start I installed JDeveloper and on an Oracle Client machine and tried to run through the tutorial. The tutorial on "Builing Business Components" (displays master-detail relnship between dept and emp tables in the scott/tiger schema) worked fine. Then I tried to convert this to a WebApp - the jsps were generated alright. However when I tried to run main.jsp ..I got a host of errors of the type :
Error (0) : /Program Files/Oracle/JDeveloper 3.0/myprojects/ not contained in /Program Files/Oracle/JDeveloper 3.0/myprojects/WebApp2/contents.jsp.
This problem repeated for all the jsp files.
Clearly some environment variable needs setting. HELP!
