Installing two different webgates

Hi,
I have to install two different webgates for two applications. What would be the way to do that? Should I install the webgates in two different instances as I am unable to figure out a how to put these two different generated ObAccessClient.xml and cwallet.sso files in the same OHS/ohs1/webgate/config folder.
Please suggest any ideas on this!!
Thank you.
Manoj

Yes, you can install 2 webgates on separate OHS instances. Assuming you already have one OHS running on port 7777, you can create an additional OHS instance on the same server using opmnctl createcomponent. Syntax will be something like
opmnctl createcomponent -componentType OHS -componentName ohs2 (assuming ohs1 already exists)
You will see an additional instance folder under instances/instance1/config/OHS folder
Then you can go ahead a create 2 web agents in OAM and copy each of the artifacts into the respective webgate/config folder
Let me know if you have any further questions on this

~Shiva

Can I install two different iPhoto applications on the same Mac?

Please explain in more detail what you are wanting to do.
Do you want to have two different versions of iPhoto, have two different Libraries or Share iPhoto with multiple users?
Two different iPhoto versions (06 and 08, 08 and 09 for examples) is a problem and I say no because the older version can not use a Library that the newer version has modified.
For iPhoto support articles, see >  Apple - Support - Mac Apps - iPhoto

  • Can I install two different RAM sizes in my Early 2011 Macbook Pro 2.0 GHz

I just bought me a 8 GB 1333 Mhz RAM for my Macbook Pro. I installed it in slot 2 and I installed the stock 2 GB RAM in slot 1. Is my decision good to have two different sizes RAM in my computer. It is showing me I have 10 GB RAM in my system, and I think my computer has become little faster, but t I had expected that it would be much more faster since I have 10 GB instead of 4 GB.

    Boysovereign,
the speed of your MacBook Pro will only increase by installing additional RAM if the apps which you run were constrained by their previous amount of RAM. If they weren’t being constrained by the previous amount of RAM, then adding more RAM won’t affect the speed at which they run.
That being stated, you’ll suffer a minor performance hit by using two memory modules of different capacities; to maximize your MacBook Pro’s performance, you should install two memory modules of the same capacity.

  • I wanted to get more RAM, but I want to be able to upgrade it later, can I install two different RAM cards?

I currently have 4GB in my Macbook Pro. I'm realizing that this isn't sufficient.  I like to edit photos and have Photoshop, Lightroom, and a web browser open at the same time.  I'm pretty sure that maybe 10GB of RAM will do (I'd buy one 8GB card and keep one of the 2GB cards already installed), so in case I would need to upgrade again I could buy another 8GB card. Is it possible to have two different sizes of RAM in the two bays?
    15-inch Macbook Pro (Early 2011) 2GHz Intel Core i7 4GB 133MHz DDR3

Yes, you can have two different RAM sizes in the slots. Apple doesn't recommend that, but it works. If anything make sure the RAM is the same brand. You'll need the standard 1333MHz DDR3 memory. See HERE for info on installing the memory yourself.

  • How to install two different version (7.3.4 and 8.0.4) on a server machine ??

    hi,
    I have this problem:
I must install on a NT server , in 2 different volumes , 2 different oracle version.
When i try to lunch the second listner service I got an error.
    How to solve this ??
    Thanks for all.

The error is because of port (defalut 1521 if you have not changed it) is under use.
You need to change the Tcp port number in
    <ORACLE_HOME>/network/admin/listener.ora file
if you want to start second listener.

  • Can I install two different versions of Reader?

I have Reader X (10.1.1) installed on my Win XP machine but need to use Reader 9.3.4 (or earlier version) to read a CD that has pdf links from an html file. For some reason the pdf's on this CD will only open in the older version (as noted by the CD's author). Is it possible to install version 9.3.4 and have IE8 use this as it's Reader plugin without affecting the use of the existing Reader X? Is it possible to do this somehow?
    Thanks in advance.

You can't have two versions of Reader on the same computer. However, there's no reason why the files should not open in Reader X (unless the creator spent a lot of effort to prevent that, which doesn't make sense at all).

  • Installing two Different Systems

I posted this previously but my question was not very clear so I'll restate it (hopefully ) better.
I have a dual 1gig G4. I want to run Tiger for my daily work and keep 10.5 on the machine for when I am not DJing. Right now Leopard crashes in the middle of a set and I have lost remote control on both my Macally and Keyspan triggers. What I wanted to avoid was losing my playlists, Having to reimport my music which has metadata stored with BPM, Genres etc. When I have changed my system previously all that time intensive work has failed to make the migration.. I DO NOT want to run them simultaneously. Can you install both operating systems then open applications in which ever system I booted from OR do I need two separate Applications folder. It seems that at most I would need two Libraries but not duplicate apps. Does that sound reasonable?

Thanks how would I know?I really need only two apps in 10.5 Traktor & Mac Ally keypoint. oh yeah plus iTunes but the issue is would I need to recreate all my iTunes notes, playlists or bpm info? That would be the dealbreaker

  • How to install two different operating systems?

    Hi Guys,
In my macbook, I was using Server 2003, installed through Bootcamp. For some reason I urgently needed to install Windows XP on another partition i.e, I needed two operating systems natively without being used VMware.
Could you please post how could I succeed this through Bootcamp or any other third party software?
I really appreciate for your fast response.
    Reg,
    Sri.

    Other possible setups:
    run OS X from external
    - there are even ExpressCard eSATA - and it may be possible with some to install later versions of Windows 2008 or 7.
Shrinking Windows partition (backup wtih WinClone or something) will interfere to some extent with the Apple OS Switcher but does work; then install in there.
Using a PC to run and manage Windows - after using my Mac for almost 3 yrs - is so much easier, and flexible, even though the Mac Pro can have as many Windows partitions as you want on multiple drives (internal) and partitions.
I know you can install XP after Vista or 7 is installed w/o editing the boot.ini or using EasyBCD to 'fix' Windows boot manager.

  • How to install two different versions of firefox in same OS ?

please help as i need both of them
some plugins not working in the new one !!

Do a custom install and install each version in its own program folder to use multiple Firefox versions.
    * [[Custom installation of Firefox on Windows]]
Create a new profile exclusively for each Firefox version and create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch each Firefox version with its own profile.

  • Installing two different OSs...

    Hello Mac Geniuses!
My friend (who doesn't have the internet) has asked me how to install OS9 and OSX on his G4 dual Powermac (the only other spec I have for the computer is around 450mhz...). I think I know, but I don't want to screw anything up. He has the OS9 disks that came with the tower and a 10.3 disk. I don't recall the exact process from here....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First off, find out if anything is presently installed on that machine.
If there is nothing installed, he will want to install the Mac OS 9 drivers first:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75275
Then install Mac OS 9. If Mac OS 9 was previously installed and the hard drive has not been erased, he should a Mac OS 9 clean install if Mac OS 9 is not working, and his data is backed up. Before clean installing, shutdown and disconnect all but display, Apple keyboard and Apple mouse. Here are the clean install directions:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58176
If the data is not backed up, and he needs to install Mac OS 9, let me know, and we can go about methods of data recovery if he can't boot his Mac before we proceed with the rest of this suggestion.
Next he should determine which 450 Mhz Mac he has:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58418
If it is an AGP, he should update the firmware:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=86117
Finally, he should make sure the 10.3 installer disk he has is black with a white and gray X logo. It should also not say Upgrade or Update on it. The gray and Upgrade/Update discs are meant for other Macs and won't necessarily work properly on his PowerMac G4. Finally if he has not done so already, shut down the Mac, and leave only the Apple keyboard and mouse, and a display connected before installing 10.3.

  • How to install two different versions of Xcode??

    Hi All,
I have Xcode 5.1.1 already installed on my mac.I want to install Xcode 6 beta on my mac without removing the older versions. How can I do this??
    Regards.

Simple add/install Xcode6-Beta by name to /Applications and go - don't change the name. They are designed to sit side/by/side.
Just remember that both versions will use the same recents list of projects, so be careful using deliverables with the beta - always have a tested and reliable backup.

  • Can TWO different Zen Micros be installed on the same computer w/o confli

I have a Zen Micro 5G, and would like to buy a Zen Micro Photo 8G as well. Does anyone know if there will be conflicts to install the software (firmware?) on the SAME computer? I had conflicts when I tried to install two different Palm Pilots on the same computer - the software of the first Palm no longer worked properly. Perhaps the new one "overrides" the first? I don't know if this might happen with the Zen Micro and Micro Photo.
Also, does anyone know if the Micro Photo fits into the Zen Micro Traveldock?
Thanks so much for any insight you can offer!

I don't think they will conflict because if you use mediasource, you can have different music libraries etc...
I believe the microphoto fits the traveldock, but don't hold me to it

  •  Ps installation on two different boot volumes of same machine?   Ps 11.0.2 Mac PPC  and then...

Hello, I'm new to this forum.
My goal here is to have two different Photoshop 11.0.2 installations on two different boot volumes of one and the same Power Mac (PPC) G5 Quad, one being a Tiger 10.4.11 system and the other one a Leopard 10.5.8 system, for the purpose of installing two different modalities of the same Epson Photo Stylus 2200 printer, one with the printer set to use the photo black ink cartridge for luster and glossy papers, and the other one using the matte blank ink.
This is because I prefer to simply change the startup disk when switching inks rather than having to delete and re-add the necessary printers.  (This particular printer does not support ink cartridge switching under any version of Mac OS X.)
Photoshop is currently only used on this one machine.  Obviously this intended scheme fits well within the EULA conditions.
    My three questions are:
    (a) whether there is any technical issue I have failed to consider,
    (b) whether each copy of Photoshop on the same machine will have to be activated separately (in other words, is the activation tied to the CPU or to the boot volume drive?), and
    (c) if the answer to the latter question is yes, whether this will count as one or two activations for purposes of later installing a single instance of the Photoshop 13.x ("CS6") upgrade on an Intel- MacBook, since obviously C6 will not run on my PPC Mac.  Again in sum, will I be able to continue to run Photoshop 11.0.2 on two different volumes of the same PPC machine and the Photoshop 13.x upgrade on the laptop?
As further explanation, I would use Photoshop 13.x on the Mac-Intel laptop only in order to run ACR 7.x, but would keep my PPC G5 Quad as my photo editing and printing machine running Photoshop 11.0.2, since an upgrade of my desktop machine to a comparably powerful Mac Pro is simply not an option for both financial and technical reasons (the Classic environment is essential).
Any and all input and guidance will be appreciated.

From my previous visits to other forums as a lurker, I was under the firm impression you were in fact an Adobe employee, Mr. Kazlow.  I hope that is still the case and you are only referencing your participation in these user-to-user forums as a volunteer, not as an official representative of the corporation.

  • Two different versions of Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable on one server - how to?

    Dear IT-Pro´s,
    I´ve got the following problem:
On a 2012 R2-Server I need to install two different programs.
One of the programs needs Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Version 10.0.30319.
The other program needs Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable but Version 10.0.40219.
No matter in which ordner I install those two files, only the higher version will be left in the end, causing one of the programs not to work.
Is there a way to install multiple redistributable in different versions on one host?
If so, may you tell me how?
    Thanks in advance & cheers
    GoProo

    I'd try them over here.
